This song is so heartbreakingly beautiful. Just your pure voice, soulful and not drowned out by electric instruments. I love this Adam and I would love to hear the rest of it.

Tuned into the Grammy with a Wiz Khalifa and some other presenter whose duet left me empty. And, while I can listen to some select raps, it's my opinion that the generous applause must have been for its brevity. Then I turn to Adam's plaintive and pure rendition of Stay, and though it is briefer still, my hope for Music's promise is restored. atm

Watched the Grammys some wow moments with Carrie Underwood and her ever changing laser enhanced skirt, kelly Clarkson'snod to Carole King and Bruno Mars, Sting and Rihanna's to Bob Marley. Couldn't help but picture Adam on that stage, blowing the audience away. I didn't get the fuss over Frank Ocean. Adam is so much more polished,vocally superior and exciting. Darn I love it too! Adam is far to humble sharing his love for others music. Truth is, he can run complete circles around other artists with his outstanding
vocals,glittering stage presence and impeccable fashion. He is a genius and works so darn hard.
I knew MJ and I tell you Adam has the quality superstar vibes that glowed around the pop legend. It's something so special that only the greats are blessed with.

Maybe this is what needs to come next. I dont know, but the song and video that did the best so far was WWFM and that was so understated and natural.

As much as I love Adam's voice, this song sounds a bit monotonous to me.

I believe Adam did that, strip back look thing! It was not him! If he never gets a damn Grammy should be him self! If he all glamourous which his him, he should strip it down. Oh Adam will be 'glam' for Asia without doubt. They adore him and he is so comfortable when he performs in Asia and Australia.

It seems internationally Adam is way ahead in leaps and bounds. His loved and adored all over the world and yet in the US they still are trying to work it out. I sure hope to blazes they catch up soon.

Adam is a gem and needs to be treasured.

I think it's important that Adam keeps working hard producing good music because it's what he loves to do, rather than concentrating on winning a Grammy or being no.1 on the charts. These things will follow if meant to be, many artists have adopted this approach and taken 10 years or more to finally gain some recognition. The longer Adam is around and the more albums he produces will hopefully bring him closer to winning awards, but these things should always come 2nd and his music should come 1st.

Someone said that the song sounded repitious, well it is, duh! They played "stay"repeating the first verse over again , I think four times. It was still beautiful. Aparently that was all Adam sang, but they made it sound longer. Adam is making a point of giving his opinions of all the stars songs now. I think it's more lucrative for Adam to weave his way into the Asian market especially China, the most populous country in the world. Celine Dion sang in Mandarin at their Chinese New Year gala, Beijing, a couple of nights back; a duet with a Chinese soprano whose high notes could literally explode chandeliers...extremely powerful. Maybe Adam could include a Chinese song as a bonus track in his next album, to pave the way. In any case Adam is doing a solo concert in China...yes fast track forward in the year of the snake.

It was repetitious when rhianna sang it too, it just had a few extra instruments to mask it a little. It is a pretty song or purty! I've noticed some of Adele's accompaniment has that same metronome sound, though I just try to overlook it since I love her voice. I think she and Adam are the best in this decade.

I love Adam's gorgeous voice, but I felt like hacking the piano to pieces. Just bad sound interferring with Adam's glorious voice. I love how effortlessly Adam can sing so beautifully. FUN finally was nominated for a Grammy this year and they have been working at it for 12 years. I hope it doesn't take Adam that long to get the recognition he deserves. Frank Ocean was terrible. The song was terrible Forest Gump I mean really, and the performance was lame and he was the worst singer of the night. All I could think was it should have been Adam.

Well, the Grammys certainly doesn't always honor the best singers. Frank Ocean is not a good singer. Guess he won for being a "song stylist" or something. Gotye is not a particularly good singer either. There's a difference between someone who is an actual SINGER (Adam, Adele, for ex.) and someone who just kind of sings along with the music. Both can be equally popular. Didn't know that FUN had been around for so long. Well, at least the same-old same-olds didn't win everything again. Adam will give us an exceptiona third album this year. And you know why?

Because he's a real singer.

It seems that music today is not always about the best singer. With auto-tuning, all the electronics, then a video that often does not relate to the actual meaning of the song, and add a stage performance with lasers, dancers, costumes, etc. and this is what makes a hit song. Talent seems to be a minor factor except with someone like Adele and Adam or a few other performers. Tweens and teens are the music buyers today and they want all of the above plus some cute boy or boy band which will guarantee a successul song. I think Adam will have longevity in the music business because he actuallly has a voice. He may never reach the success we as devoted fans want for him, but he will continue recording and performing because this is what he loves to do. He is already a global superstar. Now the listening audiences in the USA need to recognize and support him for the talented performer that he is amid allthe garbage that we hear everyday on the radio.

Adam Lambert is the best male singer out there right now. Period. this proves it. Justin Timberlake thinks he's back? Come on back JT and watch your ass get embarrassed. The Grammy awards has alot of cleaning up to do. Kelly Clarkson should have lost to the great and legendary PINK.

Frank Ocean is a good singer. Chris Brown is not. Rihanna is good but a little overrated in my opinion. Taylor Swift is a beautiful woman with no vocal ability but she makes it onto the Grammy stage? Don't know what the Grammy Panel is hearing????? The Bob Marley tribute should have included Adam. This Is Love would have left alot of mouths open.

When Levin performed at the Grammys last night, few people on twitter thought that our Adam was there and his name trended high in Los Angeles on twitter. Levine gives a good exposure of our Adam every time he is on TV.

This is beautiful! Pure raw emotions that Adam does so well. I don't want to put other singers down,but for some reason Adam's voice gives me chills. I don't know if it his way of phrasing the lyrics or his tone, but his voice takes me out of my body. Hard to explain,but I think you guys get it.Hoping for some thing like this on his next album.

I think Adam should've been included in the Marley tribute. His voice would've added so much to Grammy's (let alone his stage presence). He is who people want to see and hear. I know I do. I watched Revenge.

Turned off the Grammies. Much talent, but no magic there. Adam's Trespassing album was superior by light years to 95% of this past year's trifles. I'd rather watch Adam, Sam Sparro, NIle Rodgers jam Shady and Let's Dance 100X than sit through the entirety of last night's Grammy program.

IMO, Adam's luscious voice demands sumptuous orchestration that showcases his voice instead of drowning it under layers of loud but shallow electronica. FYE eschewed the boredom and shallow effects imparted by electronica and that was another reason why FYE provided such a thrilling and welcome ride. And I agree with whoever opined that "Stay" is monotonous. The accompanying keyboad for this lament is a sour distraction because it sounds like its being pounded by an elbow. Not suitable for Adam's golden and gorgeously modulated vocals.

well... adam NOT commenting on Frank Ocean's performance says something. that was 'dreadful' - did not get it at all, not 'artistic' and not great singing. it is unbelievable how the bi/gay story was used as a marketing strategy, successful at that for FO.

I watched the Grammies but I hadn't intended to. My family all wanted to watch together so I did.

I still have a sour grapes feeling about Adam's Trespassing not getting any recognition after all the critical acclaim it got.FO, newcomer, gets all this buzz, gets a Grammy , gets to perform....I just don't get it. I purposely waited til the end b/c I wanted to hear him sing to understand what all the buzz was about......huge disappointment IMO.

I know Adam's time to shine will come on the Grammys....and he will outshine, out perform any other artist there b/c no one can hold a candle to him.

Adam the brave one who came out at the very beginning of his career, yes most people knew it, the picture's and all, let's face it few straight guys have fashion no how, a few not many without a stylist! Adam could be a stylist, a singing stylist! My husband would have to look up the word fashion in the dictionary, I personally love fashion, and putting pieces together, with my health lately does not mean quite as much, still when I do go out to most time fun outings to the dr. I like to look nice at least! Adam should have had at least one Grammy nod, for an album that got tons of praise at end of the year, plus many more accomplishments, Adam doing so well in many parts of the world! It's hard for me to decide what I would like Adam to sing on his next album because he is so great at everything he does! I loved WWFM because of the purity of his voice and the passion he displayed in the song. I also loved Who Wants to Live Forever with Queen and Can't Let You Go. It's hard to say, but I think what Adam does best is convey a song with his emotion and passion and sing with his glorious voice like no other. I want to hear Adam and nothing else. Is that too much to ask?
Also, not too many other singers out there could come close to Adam's voice and then he would win every Grammy in sight!.nancdruuu2

JAK here....I have no way of knowing what the whole song Stay would sound like if Adam sang it.
But the little snippet of it sung in his clear pure voice reinforces my admiration for his skill. How can he hit every note, every key he reaches for with such seeming ease? There are many many many singers whose voice I enjoy and music I play frequently, but none have the breathtaking unreal beauty of Adam's gift. If angels actually exist they must sound like Adam.

We all have such different opinions of Adam's voice, his rendition of STAY, what he should and should not sing, etc. It's no wonder that for all these reasons and more, he just can't fit into a specific music category/genre and please everyone listening out there. Tweens and teens seem to be buying what passes for music today and vocal talent really does not matter to them. So here is Adam Lambert with the best voice in music today, and yet his album doesn't sell and he doesn't get radio play. Who knows what the focus of his third album will be? It is going to be very interesting to see if he remains true to himself and the kind of music he likes or will he give in to the pressure to produce something that is radio friendly, mediocre and catchy for a younger audience. I hope it is not the latter, but something simply beautiful, soulful and strong.

Lets bypass the kids, the quality of the music is not important to them, it's who sings it. Adults listen to radio too and we appreciate a great voice, Adam, sing songs for us. We are willing and able to buy albums and pay for concert tickets and airfare if needed. Grown ups deserve better than they are getting from the music industry today.

If STAY is going to be one of the songs Adam performs in his upcoming Asian concerts, I hope we get to hear the full song on vids from those shows. It would be interesting to see a collabo withRihanna and Adam performing this song, since in her video which I just saw last night, there is a male singing during part of the song. I could think of any number of individuals with whom Adam could and should do a collabo. If Christina A. could sing with Blake Shelton on her latest(and I don't even think they were that good together), then Adam would do a superb job with any other artist out there right now such as Pink, Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Rowland, etc. This might get him radio play if the right collabo were to happen. Adam's voice is pure, soulful and clear and needs to be heard above all the electronica, instruments and background singers that seem to be a part of most songs today.

Adam and Pink performing a duet and releasing a single of it, now I think that would top the charts!
