Glad Adam enjoyed the Grammy's, 'cause I couldn't get into it, especially didn't get the mediocre singers, like the Frank Ocean fail of the Forrest Gump song. Was he singing as if he was FG?) Guess I'll have to imagine how much fun it was through his eyes. Adam is my vicarious thrill.

Adam is quick with praise, and I'm sure it is heartfelt. Of course, I wish he had been there to perform also, but this just wasn't his year. It's certianly obvious that the Grammys doesn't necessarily reward the best voices. There are some good ones, of course, but the choices for the top honors were certainly not all the best singers. Go figure. I just kept imagining Adam singing on the show and blowing them all away.

He will be working for many years in this business, he can do any of it! Best host on the planet for one, think Idol be much better Adam hosting! RS is ok tho! I am assuming probably the academy being so conservative probably made a mockery of gay artist FO and showing basically there is no room for a gay artist!? That's just my opinion cause of the politic of music industry here in US. I remember couple of years ago after Cowell left Idol there was an interview where he mentioned that if you're not alert at all times there are top people in the industry that show you a good face but on your back they try to stab you. Basically music industry is a cut throat business!

I watched the show while being on twitter and reading Adam's tweets. I watched it with heavy heart. But later on I warmed up to the show. My fav. performance was Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, tribute to Bob Marley, seeing Prince presenting (I wished he performed too), The Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, Alicia Keys & Maroon 5 (or twitter people saying Keys & Adam Lambert), etc. It was a great show. But missed Adam a lot! Enjoyed his snippet of Stay!

When I heard the Bob Marley tribute all I could think was how much Adam should have been included in that tribute. It would have been great for Adam to be up there with Bruno, Oh well Adam will have his time. Frank Ocean was a WTF for me,don't get him. Rhianna sounded good but Adam's short little keek of the song did more for me!Adam just amazes me that he has so much class to praise and enjoy all these artists when he must deep down be disappointed that Trespassing didn't get a nom and how he is overlooked so often on award shows.I strive to be more like Adam.

OT - Didnt watch but would have loved to see the woman abuser Browns demeanor when he lost to Ocean. You all know, I assume, that there was an altercation between these 2 a few days ago but Ocean declined to press charges against Brown. Two of Browns bodyguards held Ocean, kicked him and someone there called him a f*****. The creep needs serious jail time but keeps getting break after break. If he was just a run of the mill abuser his ass would have been in jail a long time ago. Sorry for being so OT but my blood runs cold when it comes to Brown and his shank girlfriend, Rihanna. . . . I've decided to "believe" that Adam just missed the cut of nominations in several categories. I'm sure he was in the running, just as I'm sure he will make the cut some year. The glass more than half full for Adam. Loved, loved his tease of Stay.

That's Adam...enjoying and praising his favorites on the Grammys. I don't always agree with his comments about certain performances, but I am of a different generation of music appreciation and its artists. I did like the Marley tribute and yes, Adam should have been part of it. There were a wide range of winners which is good so that the viewer is exposed to all kinds in the business of making music. I would love to have seen Adam on the red carpet and in the audience,but he chose not to go this year. Hopefully with his next album, there will be some Grammy nominations to come.

Adam's getting a lot of attention from different sites and radio stations because of his 36 second snippet of Rhianna's Stay! He is his own best PR person! A duet with her would be amazing!

As an American Idol alum, Adam Lambert knows how to make another person's song his own. In the last year alone, he breathed new life into Lenny Kravitz's "Are You Gonna Go My Way" and continued to impress as the replacement frontman for Queen.

Now, he may have gone too far with an incredible cover of Rihanna's "Stay." First off, he one-upped the original artist. Secondly, he did so within 24 hours of the video's official release. Thirdly, he outperformed Rihanna and he's only posted 37 seconds of his version so far. Pop balladeer throwdown!

In the video above, you can watch Lambert (in a backwards hat!) singing Rihanna's "Stay" and giving it more emotion in half a minute than she managed in four. Now don't get me wrong—I'm a fan of the original. But Adam's singing like he means it in a way that RiRi didn't. Watch it above and decide for yourself.

Sounds like this is kind of song he should do and would get played by the radio! Adam showcases that voice of his no one can beat him! I really like trespassing, it was really smart album. I really think he needs those belting vocals, he just belts put that gorgeous voice! For as Grammies his time is a head of him! I never watch the Grammys because I do not like pop music, but it seems silly to me that so many of you boycott it and other shows just because they don't have Adam on. What possible good does that do? It sounds like a spoiled little kid saying if I can't be the pitcher I won't play ball or If I can't be the princess I'm going home. Most people's world does not revolve around Adam Lambert. If yours does, you might want to re examine your life, your priorities are warped.

Be a fan, adore him, lust after him, support him and enjoy him but don't become totally nuts!

@5:41 PM ... well, here's my reason for not watching the Grammys. NOT just because the ONLY reason I ever watched the Grammys was when ADAM was on ... BUT ... because most of the nominees/performers/presenters are in a word ... BORING! I'm not NUTS ... just particular & discerning in my tastes. The Grammys RARELY have anything new or exciting to offer ... just the same ole' same ole' 'stars' .... these so-called stars that win these awards are far from Grammy deserving ... IMO

I really like Adam's short but sharp rendition of 'Stay'. And that's what I've often referred to as Adam's well-honed singing technique that is second nature to him; now I was able to compare quickly why Adam's voice and singing intrique me so much. In the short snippet, he captured my attention but not the Grammy version; had to wait but didn't come, to feel something that I felt in Adam's one minute of the 'Stay' song. Also wondering what Adam was really feeling by keeking this short snippet...was it another of his "outsider" emotional outbursts. But he did say the show was "inspiring". Well it did not inspire me at all. Then one might say: Who cares...I do! Anyway I think it's a matter of time Adam will receive his way overdue Grammy. He should have gotten Best Vocal Performance right from the start way back. And NCOE or BTIKM or Outlaws of Love and Trespassing album should have have won an award judging by the standard I just witnessed.

SingBerts designed a special Trespassing concert t-shirt and I think I read Adam's tweet to them congratulating them on the layout; he said beautiful picture of Trespassing / his face right up front, into your face! lol! The back is their logo Singapore Glamberts. Yea they are so smart, they choped/bought the whole front block of top range seats and so I had to buy the ones behind them still top range tickets and what I like is my section is elevated and I got the isle seats; lol! It's probably better for me because I don't have the energy to scream and jump anymore. Oh SingBerts do you know you are all wearing my birth date on your beautiful Trespassing t-shirt; it's printed in red I think, saw a picture of it. lol! Indirectly, unknowingly all the SingBerts are celebrating my birthday that night. lol! Goodness gracious!
