Are we entering a new Video-Killed-the-Radio-Star era, a period in which, more than ever, we’ll watch our hit songs?

Somebody should make a playlist of Adam's official music videos so we can play it on our iPhones, tablets, smartphones for hits so we can move up his music on Billboard charts.

@9:22AM that's a exquisite gorgeous Trespassing flower arrangement to Adam by Japanese Glamberts. He should tweet that picture.

From the video point of view, Trespassing performance is very spectacular. The stage-decor stripes, Adam's yellow-striped jacket, backup singers' striped dresses, dancers' yellow pom-pom hair and striped vests and yellow spotlights, wow! all rolled in as one wholesome, encompassing piece of live art! Brian London and glamily band and Adam glued them altogether, top form! By the way I've already drafted several verses of my Adam Dawn of Aquarius concert poem based on the videos; might need to make drastic changes after the concert. lol! But I think the title stays or maybe not. lol!

OT: Just a mention of Adam's name tonight on idol was followed by a huge audience clap. Seacrest face was priceless I thought.

Anonymous said...

Yes the mere mention of his name, drives them wild! U may be very wrong but, I have a real feeling something is going on between Idol and Adam! Maybe this year are next, perhaps. The feelings getting stronger and stronger! I do not think it was just an accident Adam was there with the Top 20, the other day! I think something is up for Adam in the neat future with Idol, guess in time we will see! Correction that was I may be wrong not U! By the way with all the English lessons going on what is the correct terms to call people from Finland? I like to know, so I will not get my knuckles hit with a ruler, by the teacher. Sue

Anonymous said...

Sue....Lately you seem more light-hearted lol! "...knuckles hit with the ruler..." Do teachers still employ this kind of scare tactics? lol! Hey remember you say Adam " knitting at home for three years"...You know my imagination sometimes runs out of control lol! I imagined Adam sitting in a rocking-chair literally rocking away, like they call him a rock-god, lol! wearing that dome-shaped, airport-arrival headcover, lol! intensely knitting away, for 3 years lol! Whatever he was knotting must be huge, just like him in his career of 3 years. lol!

Anonymous said...

The 'knotting' was accidental so don't hit my knuckles lol! Perhaps quite appropriate because if one can't knit properly, it comes out in knots lol!

Finnish people are known as Finns.

I hope yu are right sue but I don't want to get my hopes up. Would love to see the part where Ryan mentions Adam's name and the IDOL audience cheers.

I hear that this panel of judges is shaping up so maybe IDOL will try to keep it. I hope not.

I've been noticing that Adam has been adding more choreography into his performances. I guess he is feeling more comfortable on the stage and is letting loose with certain songs. I do find the backup singers a bit distracting standing in back of Adam and moving their arms all around. With other performers I have noticed the backup singers are usually to the side and I guess with a smaller stage and from a video, it appears as if the dancers and singers are all on top of each other. But I enjoy watching any vids of Adam perform and that's all the matters to me. I love the quiet respect the Japanese audiences show during Adam's performances esp. while he is singing those poignant, heartfelt ballads.

I also am loving Adam doing a little more dancing. He's really good at it despite what he thinks. And I think Terrance and Johnny are fun and add an additional layer of personality. I don't find them or the back-ups distracting at all. The show is more cohesive and tight without being too robotic or sterile. Adam's warmth and spontaneity (sp) comes through. He lets his personality and humor shine. That's what sets him apart from others, to me. I love the introduction of the band members, including the dancers, who the audience seemed to LOVE.

Now, back to some more video viewing.

@11:39PM Thanks for posting those links. I emailed them to myself and flagged my email to listen to them on my iPhone. That way I won't lose them.

Korean fans seemed very young. I thought it was good. Also young fans here in Finland (not me) and Russia. You'd think he'd prefer a concert with lots of new young fans, but he seems to like the more intimate venues with the same old hags in the audience. Perhaps he has got used to it in the US and finds it comforting. LOL!

I would assume Adam "prefers" to have an **audience**, with people in it. As opposed to **no audience**. I too LOVE seeing the young fans. As for the "old hags": I "resemble" that remark. LOL! I'm not sure what your definition of an "old hag" is, but I suspect I'd be within those parameters ("Over the hill and age of 30..or 40.."??). This Adam-Lambert-supporting "old hag" once paid to take 7 other fans to an Adam Lambert concert, all within your (I assume) definition of "young fans". So we old hags have our uses. :)) My husband is also a fan and has been to several concerts. What would you call HIM, someone who is male and who appreciates Adam and his music, and smiles that goofy smile that we old hags (and young fans..) wear any time we see Adam in concert...dancing and singing along with everyone else? Perhaps an "old fart", since "old hag" doesn't seem quite appropriate for him. I truly do get what you are saying, and as I said, I truly LOVE seeing all of the young fans, which is the norm in non-US venues it seems, but your description of the older fans was just a teensy bit rude. By the way, we old hags clean up pretty well, I must say ;))))) Next time, the term "older fans" would be much appreciated in place of the term "old hags". Thank you.....Not to mention, I don't think you can necessarily assume Adam prefers smaller venues. I would guess he'd also "prefer" larger venues too, but he is happy to have what his management books for him. Now, if he would just come back to the US and do a few shows....so this old hag can get her "Adam fix"...

30 or 40 is over the hill? Oh, dear :(

ADAM appreciates ALL of his fans ... demographics be damned!! We 'old hags' as you put it LOVE & Support ADAM & are far less judgemental about his personal life. I guess we have learned to LIVE & LET LIVE & don't fantasize about ADAM in a way that the 'younger' fans seem to. OH!! BTW ... we also have the financial 'wherewithal' to support him ... more than you young 'whippersnappers' do. LOL
