Adam is truly sweet. I'm glad he tweeted those 4 simple words "I love you all!". They speak volumes, and cover so much. And I can tell you that he got the love back at him too. The people I follow (lots of Glamberts..of course!) have been respectful of both Adam and Sauli, sending words of love and support to both. Anyone who tweets invasive, intrusive questions ("Why" etc..) at either of them will get an unfollow from me. I'm just so glad he was able to let us know what they, I suspect, have been dreading to say, perhaps fearful of backlash and accusations. Both beautiful loving men. Wishing them both peace and happiness, and eventually, new love. Each of them deserves all of that.

JAK, I just saw what you wrote me about Don Smith he was also my half sisters father Donna Marie Smith. She was my only Sibling, she died at 59 I really never got over that. Thanks so much for the info. I knew most of it, but kind if forgot some of it. My mother talked about him a lot. I have pictures and memorabilia if him, both my parents are dead. My father last August. jimmy Doolittle past now, good while ago my parent when they were able wen to the Doolittle reunion's quite a bit. Adam is so good to his fans. He just wants all of us to know how much he loves us for our concern about his split with Sauli. I suppose for someone like Adam who is in the music industry, so talented and handsome, honest and caring, it must be difficult to find someone who truly wants and loves you for the right reasons and not just because of who you are or what you have. I don't think Sauli was that type of peson and Adam truly seemed happy when they were together. Adam will have plenty to keep him busy with work on the third album...maybe even a song or two may come out of the breakup.

Adam handled this really badly, he should have told his fans sooner and not just think about himself and his business.

He started acting like a single guy long before his announcement ignoring the worry and anxiety among his fans. Extremely disrespectful towards us and Sauli in particular. And sad.

Neither Adam nor Sauli is obligated to share any of their personal lives with their fans, IMO. Like I mentioned in my comment above, I'm sure they knew there would be criticism no matter HOW they handled their decision to part ways. They undoubtedly have gone through much more pain and sadness over this than any of us fans have, and as badly as we feel about it, they feel much worse. It may well be that they have only just now felt able to deal with the fan's and media reactions. Yes, I do agree that we've seen some hints over the past weeks, but this is between Adam and Sauli only. My heart goes out to both of them, as well as my support and understanding that life is complicated, and for celebs in the public eye, much more so... I'm just thankful that they finally let us know..and they remain good friends.

I'm gutted.

I love Adam and I love Sauli but I don't know what to do now. I'm Finnish and I always felt that Adam was somehow "ours" because of Sauli. He was our son-in-law and the incredible love I felt towards Sauli (who has always been a Finnish media darling) also made me love Adam so much. I saw him at Hartwall arena and I was so excited to see him again solo or for the first time with Queen... But now I'm just numb.

Maybe with time I will be able to listen to Adam just like any other European (withouth Sauli attachments) but atm I truly feel like I've lost a son (and I'm only twenty years old. :P).


As Sauli's fan I know he will be fine no matter what road he takes. As a glambert I know I will not be able to stop following Adam but I know in the future my following will always include a melancholy. I'm simply heartbroken.

Love Adam, love Sauli and love glamberts.

Shocked and sad at the news. Still remaining friends is a very hard thing to do and it speaks volumes of the character of each of them.

This Glambert loves you. I never considered for one minute how the Finnish fans would feel. You have explained it drawing in my emotions and sympathy with your predicament. I wish I could give you a real and long hug instead of this virtual one. Adam's Finnish fans have been awesome.

My heart is sad for the loss of their love together---but more importantly, I wish them love and happiness in the paths that are ahead for both of them. They are both very special young men. And Adam,love and light always. You have my heart forever.

I can't imagine having to make a public statement about the end of my relationship. It can't have been easy for either one of them and it's really none of our business why or exactly when.

Just FYI everybody, that person making the comment about Adam not making a statement sooner, being disrespectful, etc is making the same comments on other fan sites. To use that dreaded word, they are probably a troll trying to stir up trouble while many of us are sad for whatever sadness Adam and Sauli have.

Hope Adam and Sauli can feel the love and care that we fans feel for them. They are both fine, caring men that value and respect each other. It has to be so difficult living in a fish bowl with every minute of your life being analyzed and critiqued. Sauli has handled all of it with class and grace. Adam also has had to live with so much speculation and scrutiny, but always goes on dealing with it in a mature, professional way. They both are exceptionally good guys and I wish them the best. Who knows, maybe at some future time they will find their way back to each other and if not, treasure the time that was spent. Have to admit, it makes me sad, but they may be perfectly fine, mutually agreeing to move on.

Adam brought him to my attention, but I have become a fan of Sauli and appreciate him for his individual talents that have nothing to do with Adam. His blogs and Tutka always make me feel good and make me smile. I will continue to care about and support him. He shines and will make a great tv host. I wish it could be in English too. I think Sauli has a caring, loving heart and a wonderful sense of humour. Sauli has put up with so many abusive and nasty remarks from people that have no clue to his character or personal relationship with Adam, just hurtful, meaness. I think he truly loved Adam for himself and brought much to Adam's life. I thought and still do that they are a wonderful match with much in common. No one seems to take relationships seriously any more, it's so easy just to throw it all away, Adam say's they had 2 amazing years together but the minute some difficulties it's all too easy to walk away from them. One day they may regret this decision, you can spend a whole life time surrounded by people but how often does true love come into ones life, it's precious and something worth while hanging onto and should never be taken for granted.

Adam tweets "Love you all", does he really know the meaning of love? I don't think so. He wants to be a playboy, without any commitments.

I keep thinking of Adam latching on to the song STAY and singing it so longingly. And then abruptly dropping it from his set list - maybe that's when he gave up and knew it was over. That song is going to haunt me. I'm such a sentimental fool. I let their love story become a happily ever after story. They are young men and will find new love and be fine. Life is real, not a story.

Adam will no doubt be frequenting clubs and bars, getting drunk and sleeping around. Sauli was a healthy steadying influence on Adam, it's a pity Adam didn't appreciate him more than he did.

I don't think so. It's not going to happen. No matter how much we love him on these fan sites and on Twitter, he will never be be able to fill whole stadiums like the real big names.

And that's sad cause I am pretty sure that's what is aiming at and where his priorities in life are.

It was around the time that Adam dropped Stay from his WAG tour that I noticed an instagram photo that Sauli posted of himself and his dog. His words were that his dog was his only best friend, he also looks extremely sad in this photo, maybe close to tears, so I take it that this could have been around the time when they both realized it was over.

it is hard to fill stadiums unless you have a fan base of 20 years or two or three other big names with you. He is not stupid and I don't think his priority is there. He would just love to get played on the radio. Why are you always sad?

Well, I can think of a bunch of (less talented) names that haven't been around any longer than Adam and still they top the charts and fill up big stadiums.

I can't believe that some people here seem to think that somehow Adam and Sauli will make their way back to each other. People need to stop fantasizing and leave these two guys to get over it and move on with real life and that's what many here on this site need to be doing, what's been done is done and now it's time to move ahead.

The Queen collaboration may not happen since Brian May is poorly. Adam's solo album did not sell very well, he couldn't get a big tour, radio is not playing his songs and for some reason the western music industry is not promoting Adam the way he would like to.

No, they are not. Sauli said that trust is everything for him in his relationships. And he said in his blog that he is never going back to the old things or situations.

Sauli is a very good friend with his former boyfriend. They grew apart. So, if this split was nice enough, maybe they can be friends with Adam too. Hope so, if they hope so!

Personal things are only one thing. I believe that the other reasons for the split was Adam's career and its impact on Adam. The music was good, but it did not sell enough, it did not get airplay on the radio in US and Adam was not selected to AI (= money and fame). That's why he had to collect the money from Asia, Russia and Finland. I guess that he wanted more money than he got. This means that there was less time together (and less money for Sauli to travel with Adam). We do not know what kind spare time together it was when one has experienced disappointments in his career, and the other tries to find its own functions.

Adam Lambert career is just fine thank you, he doing great abroad Finland certainly is only one of many places he doing well! Doing great in all of Asia big place, most especially china, Russia, Africa, Indonesia many more! Even if he had sold more in US he would have gone abroad, unlike many from idol and many period he big abroad. Se doing well here or doing nothing abroad! You go where you are the biggest. Hopefully next album he will do well here but even so he will do concerts abroad. So he always gonna have to travel. He got net game in China, and China music awards and then idol finale. He will always have a lot of travel even if album does good here because he doing very well abroad. Has a concert here he still do it abroad. Some that are successful here have no popularity are income abroad or there just not doing as well as Adam. Hopefully with next album conquer all. I really think fans are still in shock over this latest news, many fans thought Adam and Sauli would be together for many years to come. JFC nothing changes. This started out as a nice thread. I was worried the trolls would have a field day with this. I can't believe how much hate is on this site for a singer who promotes the opposite. People go through heartbreaking end of relationships all the time and it's usually not one person's fault. New music or a new boyfriend?

Awhile ago I atteded a seminar where the speaker suggested to the audience in order to live a healthy happy life, you should change the stuff in your house more often and jokingly at the end he said including your partners in life.

It seems most people are afraid of changes in life. Afraid to take risks or try new things in life. But then few love to be on the move like rivers. Vibrant and fresh. Not to be like still water that over time it stales and smells.

Life is too short. Why not enjoy it while you can?

I`m so sad and yes I`m from Finland. Before Sauli I didn`t know Adam at all. I liked Sauli in BB and I sometimes listened Tutkas they did with Katri but I wasn`t fan of Sauli either. When I first time read Sauli has kissed some american pop-singer I thought who the hell cares. I did think that Adam was a fierd looking guy. Then there was pictures about them in Disney. And somehow they looked so in love so I don`t know how to discripe it but lost my heart to them. Then I began to fallow them and slowly I get to know Adam as well and his music. I have been their fan since and they have give me reason to smile often. I have pretty good life myself (20 years marrige) but there just was something magical. I have been a bit ashamed for beeing fan of them and I haven`t tell that for many people. So I have written and read your thoughts here and some other places. I like Adam`s music but it is not always great to me. The stage performance is way too much for me but I don`t have to watch. I want to say thank you all and I hope all the best for everyone here as well as Adam and Sauli of course. Mayby I will return someday and I will listened Adam`s new album when it comes out. I too have doupts about beeing friends thing. If Sauli return to Finland that is that but if he will stay there mayby they will. And please keep it civilized. Did anyone read Hymy article (finnish trash magasine). how is possible they have already find "close friends" of Sauli to tell their opinion about the break up... LOL. Those magasines are so full of shit! It says Adam is so jalous of Sauli he can`t handle the fact
Sauli isn`t with him everytime he wants. Adam is also a little self centered person according to them. Well it`s all about sell..

According to what I've read on twitter, it sounds as though Sauli is very upset and planning to go back to Finland to live.

I think you people should already get over this news - life goes on and so should you do too.. Don't make anymore any speculations, please. And why did you mention that magasine - noone is interested. Its so weard. Im finnbert cause his Voice and presentation, not with whom he is going to share his life.

As a mother . . I kinda had a feeling before Adam came out and announce his separation from Sauli . . it was great they got to be together as long as they did . .I think they learned alot from each other . .best to both
Good news . . heard Adam at the bank . . always brings a smile to my face . . and my son told me today that Adam and Sauli split . .the only thing he knows about Adam is my constant chatter . . it must have been trending on Yahoo.

I think Adam needs to have someone in his life who is willing to be there caring for him. Some men are like that they need to have someone to come home to. With Sauli's career taking off perhaps it was difficult for Adam to handle. At the same time you can't blame Sauli for having career aspirations of his own. I wish them both the very best maybe they are too young with all they have going on to consider anything long term when it comes to relationships at this point in their lives.

Hey I met my first love at 15 we went together until i was 21,got married had two children after 12 yrs together we got divorced so life goes on.Adam & Sauli are normal nice people they will make it together or apart.They are not the first to break up & won't be the last it happens.Love them wish them all the happiness in the world, best if fans mind their own business when it comes to Adams relationships.You might think you know what happens but until you walk in their shoes you do not.
