Feeling better today thanks to listening to Adam's calm, beautiful presence in his interviews and fabulous performance on Idol. Adam is so perfect - hugely talented and humble at the same time. The perfect man and American Idol! Thanks Adam!...nancdruuu2

this also showed the Idol audience a different Adam. He let Angie have her moment. Unlike the judges and (not Keith) Ryan who made this year all about them.

Adam's voice and stage presence are just perfect..he and Angie were so magnificent together..cannot get enough

IMO Adam did the same already back during AI S8 with Allison Iraheta and he did it in China, with Zhang Wei, too.
ADAM has ALWAYS been a CLASS ACT, adapting to the situation at hand and honouring other performers, those more exprienced and "of longer careers" and also newer emerging talents, younger in age and experience.
So a DIFFERENT Adam? No, imo he's always been evn too kind & considerate for the ruthless music business - just wait and see, this Angie person is going to outsell him (and many others) in no time... She seems to be the favorite of the suits deciding it all...

I don't know about a gorgeous night but you were a Gorgeous You, Adam.

What was it Adam once said, something like don't blame the players, blame the game.

I think it would not seem odd for radio stations to get Adam Lambert requests this morning... so let's do that. Request BTIKM or NCOE or Trespassing!! Doesn't matter if it elicits no response... let's just show them there is continued interest in his singles on Top 40, AC and HAC. NO DOWNSIDE either way imho :)

I also agree with with nancdruuu2 and Tea, well said you too.

Also true that AI suits will back, and back with fierceness Angie... but you know what, money talks, I have no problem with that at all. Good for Angie. SHE IS DESERVING. She is a nice young lady. And you know what, Angie impressed me last night when, near the very end of her segment, SHE extended her arm around Adam and pulled him in closer to herslef and Jessie J... ANGIE DID THAT. Her manners were very evident in that moment, to me anyway, and she reminded me of Adam in that way too at that moment!!!!! Angie is indeed marketable for AI, and it would be foolish of us to forget that AI is in it for the money!!!!!! Nothing new here. At least Angie is deserving!! Just like Allison Ireheta was very deserving of a good solid effort the AI people put forth for her, Allison. I guess she just wasn't "Selena Gomez" "Demi Lovato" etc enough at the time. But I still love and listen to Allison's Just Like You cd, it was really well rounded and great... and I suspect I would pay my money for Angie's album as well. Okay, my rant is done. Peace out all. Don't forget to request!! :)

Adam looks so good without all the makeup and he didn't even wear any nail polish. Is this the new Adam as he is working on the new music for his next album? He is certainly a class act, one of the best in the music business.

No, it's not a "new" Adam. It's the Adam we've always had who knows very well how to adapt to any kind of performance situation. It love him with his nail polish and make-up, too. Either way, he's so classy and humble. As for sailes, in our perfect world of Planet Fierce, no one would out-sell Adam. He would be on top anad deservedly so. But this isn't Planet Fierce. It's Planet Earth, where singers rise to the top and some make it for the long haul and some don't. Yes, some singers who have come after Adam (not necessarily from Idol) have outsold him and have had a fraction of the talent. But they sell more. This may happen with Angie, maybe not. Jessie J. is certainly supporting her. I want longevity for Adam. When most people have forgotten about the majority of the AI contestants, even the winners, I want Adam to still be considered a superior talent who sustained his career over a lifetime. He is so distinctive in every way. Nothing generic about him.

Please vote on the O poll and give positive feedback about Adam on media websites, if possible!

He really is beautiful and totally stole the show. I personally prefer the glam look. I think his look was right for the song though.

DRG, I agree with you about the longevity. I don't worry if Adam is outsold or not #1; I would worry if he didn't get that applause last night or positive reviews, etc. I want him to have the opportunities to do what he was born for--perform. I think he has made his mark.

More fabulously complimentary articles today mentioning Adam and Angie's "Titanium" duet:

From the Christian Science Monitor

American Idol finale recap: America crowns its next 'Idol'

[They give a synopsis, followed by the best, the worst, the strangest..etc.]

"The Best:"

"Hands down, the absolute best vocal collaboration of the evening was that of Angie Miller and Adam Lambert performing, "Titanium." Their chemistry during their performance, both vocal and just general chemistry was the highlight of the evening. For that brief minute or so it seemed as though Idol had found its way out of the pomp and circumstance of superstar performances and just delivered viewers pure, raw, relevant talent. Kudos to both Angie and Adam for their incredible vocals."

From MSN Entertainment:

"'American Idol' final results: It's Candice
All is right in 'Idol' world as voters choose the best singer"

"But just as on regular performance episodes of "Idol," when wretched excess can lead into unexpected brilliance, musical events took a significant turn for the better. Angie Miller launched into a grave version of Sia's "Titanium" and was quickly joined by Adam Lambert for a duet that at times approached the exquisite."

From The Backlot:Logo Online:

"Adam Lambert And Angie Miller Offer Steely Vocals On “Titanium”"

"Adam Lambert stopped by American Idol last night, performed “Titanium” with Angie Miller, and turned everyone into Glamberts.

Adam’s upper register really should be studied by scientists. I’m sure it could provide a cure for some deadly disease, like malaise or lethargy."
