Did he name the dog Sauli, I am sure Sauli liked his tummy rubbed too, JUST KIDDING. Wonder if Adam misses all the things that Sauli did for him. People have been saying that Adam has a grungie look lately. I don't think so, he just hasn't had anyone do his laundry for him now, ha ha ha. I think he is just wearing clothes for summer, like we all do. Cut off shorts, tank tops etc. Now is when "friends" come out of the wood work, and Adam has to decide who are real friends, or people who need a boost in their career, it's really hard to find out, when they come across as sincere friendly and funny people. That's one reason he keeps his old friends close. Well he is starting a new chapter of his life, and I wish him a lot of luck and love.

Adam to release an 80's cover album?????

2:18 freak!! that would be too good to be true, many people have been asking for this forever including me.

Anonymous said...

Lol a covers album would be the death of his career in music. RCA states they have absolutely no support for him as an original artist.

Anonymous said...

my God how many funerals are we going to have for Adam's career?

Jadam NZ said...

Mixed feelings about this (Still only a rumour) I would love to hear some of my favs from the 80s and Adam could sure do them justice. Also Im sure it would pick up a lot of new fans. But what a shame his own wonderful music on Trespassing wasn't given more exposure. Maybe the 80s album would do better, then maybe another original?

Anonymous said...

New fans? Are there a lot of people dying for remakes of 80s songs? And certainly no one is going to play this on the radio so where exactly are they going to hear this? This is putting him on a par with Clay Aiken.

Anonymous said...

Cool, I love any cover Adam has ever done.

Anonymous said...

I honestly don't believe this article. I think it is just a rumor. I do wish however he would do an album with Queen. I would love an album with al of the covers he has already done. HE makes all songs better.

Anonymous said...

2:26pm, tell us, do you have a seat on the RCA Board of Directors?
I agree that Adam doing a whole album of 80's covers is crazy, but I think you're overstepping when you profess to know what Adam and his label have in store for the future.

Adam has so much potential and you have to understand that artistic work is a process, it's hard and it takes time and inspiration. I know of what I speak. Why don't we just wish Adam well on his creative journey. It will help quell the fears all artists have and let Adam know we have confidence in his abilities. And, this confidence does not come out of thin air - look at his body of work!

It's a rumor that's being talked about. Adam has been including covers for quite a few of his concerts. I think it is a good idea, since he cannot seem to get started on an album. That would buy him some time to settle on some songs of his own creation. He could probably get an album out before the end of the year. His record label would want to approve any covers of course. Lots of successful stars do covers. He could go on a tour with it and forget about radio promos, which seemed like a waste of time and money. His creative juices for writing songs seems to have temporarily dried up. This is a crucial time to still be in the spotlight. right now there seems to be nothing in his life that inspires him, don't know if it is as simple as he is not in love with anyone. Most songs are about love and breaking up. I don't think he wants to sing about either one, right now.On AI all his songs were covers, and everyone loved him, and how he performed and sang them.

ADAM should do a photoshoot covered in snakes and call his album COBRA. it has a nasty kinda ring to it.

Anonymous said...

This cover of 80s album is much better than doing a Christmas album. But the fact that RCA is admitting that they weren't enthusiastic to support Trespassing, SUCKS BIG TIME! Basically his own hard work and fans' support was that all for second album. SUCKS AGAIN!

Anonymous said...

...mixed feelings about an all cover album....it would be incredible.. maybe get some new fans to hear his voice with something familiar to them then they would follow up by discovering his own work...ha since the radio so and so's don't play him!! off topic.. was in the grocery today and shocked to hear Never Close Our Eyes.....Go Meijer Avon, Indiana :)

Anonymous said...

Surely not! Adam and a cover album!
NO, that's not Adams style in a million years so forget that! Never underestimate the power of the Glambert! Perfection takes time but #3 needs not to lag tooo long. Those promotionals need to be back in full swing.

Anonymous said...

Thinking about it seriously, can you count on more than one hand any songs Adam has written completely by himself with no collaborations. His whole life in theatre has been singing already written songs. I am not sure that writing songs is his natural forte. His voice now is another whole different subject. Covers or songs that other people have written, but not released,
(wwfm) is an example. It was the only one he got a grammy nom for.
This has to be the toughest business to be in, a great voice doesn't always get you any where, it's the catchy tune, that you can't get out of your head. Or you are humming as you drive or go about your daily work. The audience young and old loved Adam on AI, and they have since said that he was the best singer ever to be on it. All covers.

Anonymous said...

Adam and an '80's covers' album is crazy!
Darn, this is Adam for heck sake.
As for the 'creative juices' dried up....nothing about Adam is 'dried up'!!!!!

Anonymous said...

screw RCA..my personal opinion is that some of the tracks on Trespassing were too geared to the LGBT community and maybe RCA thought it would turn off alot of people (and it probably did)..we as his most ardent fans, love him so much that we cannot conceive of him making any mistakes in his career..my thought is ..make a new album with new music that ALL can relate to and enjoy and include a couple of dynamic covers..I's kinda burned out on "Shout" Purple Haze, etc...Adam simply must go on to bigger and better things musically and in all other ways..

Anonymous said...

I agree with those who don't want to see Adam do a covers album. It's kind of an admission of defeat, IMO. But that being said, I wonder if RCA will support him financially with putting out an album of original music? It takes lots of money to pay writers, producers, studio workers, graphics people, etc. TP did not sell millions. How much will RCA invest? I've said so many times that Adam is a super-talented marketing nightmare. He fits in no particilar audience niche. The AI gig would get his face out there, but that's not a sure thing. Adam is not really a song-writer. Yes, he contributes, but that's not really his thing. He's a song stylist and pure singer. Lots of successfull singers aren't song-writers either. RCA didn't support TP despits its quality and its good reviews. We don't really know why. I hope Adam gets support of some kind for an original theird album. I guess he is still tied to the RCA contract for a while. This must be why he is apparently not working on new music. He has no writers, producers or studio plans. I'm guessing about all of this, of course. I just hope the covers thing is not true. I liked the comments on the article. So much support expressed there for Adam. He must find a way to reach the mainstream. Hope he can find a supportive label as soon as he is able.

@ 3:21, you gotta give some ideas and examples as to how he simply goes on to bigger and better things. Did you know that Lady Gaga has a group of 12 writers for her songs. I am sure she is not the only one. Purple Haze, if I remember , he sang for Tommys birthday, Tommy picked it out. I don't think any of Adam's audiences are ever disappointed in what he sings, they love him so much, he can do no wrong. His concerts are his best way of making a living, the cd's and radio don't compare to seeing him in person. He has so many connections now, he should have a handful of collaborators to give him some songs, that he just tweeks a little bit. Of course none of these people are free, everything comes with a price. You take a huge chance that good money you paid someone will actually pay off with the finished product. I don't agree that covers will not work for Adam, what do you think Broadway shows are? At least now the whole show is about Adam, the 80's are songs Adam loves and grew up on. Actually he could sing nursery rhymes and I would pay to see him perform. ha ha ha

my boss at work suggested that maybe Adam pissed off someone in the industry and that is why he hasn't been more successful here in the states at least..I think that the CD buying public's tastes run differently from Adam's core fan base..the teeny boppers like Bieber and Taylor and the like..and the older more sophisticated public are into show tunes, old music, etc..alot of middle aged men at least love metal..Adam needs to lay off of songs that celebrate the Gay community and support it by way of his charities, etc...I am 100% in favor of all things gay (i'm not..but a close relative is) because he needs to appeal to a larger audience..hope he does get AL as the exposure cannot do him any harm..

Of course it's not set in stone right now but coming from Shirley at The Hollywood Reporter is not coming from some anonymous blog.

It confirms he isn't working on his album yet and doesn't have the funding from RCA. It also confirms they don't support him as an original artist and were never behind Trespassing.

All very obvious to most intelligent people.

Anonymous said...

Adam does a great job with covers. Shout is my favorite track and Adam covered it better than original. Stay another fab. cover. WLL. AYGGMW. His covers on Idol. His performance with Queen. Etc etc. Fans want him to do a Christmas album. Isn't this cover of old Christmas songs? IMO this cover album might not be a bad idea. If it is out by November. Gives him tons of buzz and then he can release his third album by spring of 2014. If it is a way for RCA to market him and then release a third album. It is fine with me. As long he gets full support from RCA for his third album. Seems they slacked off with Trespassing though.

@4:20 PM - a very sad state of affairs..TP just did not sell very well at all and perhaps RCA does not see him as an artist capable of rendering his own work to the masses..I still maintain that there were too many overt lyrics on TP that referred to the LGTB community..what a shame..Adam has a remarkable voice and is very charismatic, charming, likable, good looking (make that gorgeous), humble, etc...he WILL find success in his career..I would love it if he would segue into the fashion scene, broadway, TV, movies, etc.

I don't know what's going on here. We need to give Adam our support not give reasons for his demise in the recording industry. Adam is a great talent, world-wide star! The music industry is difficult for most stars except for a handful of stars you hear over and over again on the radio. Adam will always be successful in music because his fans are clamoring for him whatever he wants to put out there. He will always have an audience! I'm not worried about rumors. I have faith in Adam in his God-given talent like Glamberts all over the world. Let's get behind Adam in a positive light force! Keep the faith peeps!

Adam has stated explicitly that he will NOT do a Christmas album, because he is Jewish. Which is a bit of a laugh because he follows no religion, but his mother is part Jewish.
His second album was written with the idea that he wanted his fans to know more about him, and the two sides of his personality. OK.
That's done, now what? Wasn't greatly successful.
Brian is up to his eyeballs with badger stuff, and talking to Roger about making a film, I don't think this includes Adam. He is also giving lectures all the time about the galaxy and the stars or something. Don't quite understand that stuff, but that is from all his college degrees, and earned him his doctorate.
Adam is at a place in his life where he doesn't seem to know which direction to go. His second album wasn't the huge success everyone expected it to be. His love relationship has ended. All he hears now is when is going to get out a third album. Adam is not as confident in himself as some people think. this alone might hold him back, a bit. His personality is too nice and too loving, the most successful stars, are bitchy, rude and people who walk all over others to get where they want. This is not Adam, in any way. Something will come up and even be a huge surprise to Adam, just as Queen was. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Anonymous said...

If any of you bothered to go read it, it's pretty vague saying according to "sources."

And Adam's answer to the rumor:
Lambert stayed mum on any recording plans, saying only, "Rumors are funny little things, aren't they?"

Adam's answer says it all for me. It's some stupid rumor and THR just wanted hits and comments from fans. All you doom and gloom and too gay people can go jump off a cliff.

Anonymous said...

None of you know Adam or what he is thinking or doing so shut up.

The Hollywood Reporter isn't uninformed garbage, and it's been very obvious he isn't working on new music. Just confirms things.

I'll always want the best for Adam.

I agree with 5:39 PM..the FACT is Adam is NOT working on new music..now, he may be working on something else..but he would confirm if new music was on the horizon in the near future...and sadly..he has not..I will keep up the hope though as Adam keeps me feeling young and alive and I want MORE of him!!!!

Anonymous said...

If Adam's current label forces him to go one way or the other, perhaps it would be time for Adam to say bybye to his label. A label should truly support its singers' artistic vision.

Anonymous said...

The Hollywood Reporter doesn't make things up. They are respected journalists, not random internet bloggers. They have sources in the industry. They are reporting that it is one direction being considered, not definite. But also the rest of the article makes it clear Sony doesn't support Adam as an artist. A covers album is cheap. They aren't going to pay big money for him to work with top notch people or get new songs.

Anonymous said...

I doubt if anyone really knows what is happening with Adam's career right now. Maybe Adam himself is at a crossroads and is checking all his available options. It just seems that everything comes down to the almighty dollar for producing an album and then hoping it sells. Today's record buying, itunes audience consists of tweens and teens who fill the concert audiences. Adam has his followers, but not enough I guess to give him the recognition and success that he so deserves. He doesn't get radio play which to me is the most frustrating part. So we will all have to wait and see what he does next amidst all the rumors and gossip that will be out there about him and his music career.

Anonymous said...

Unless you follow Adam around 24/7 like the adorable puppy in the pic, we have no idea what Adam does with most of his time so you can't say he isn't working on new music. We know nothing until Adam tells us.

Anonymous said...

5:55 PM
He may be writing some little ditties in his living room but if Sony is considering funding a cover album it is proof that they haven't funded any collaborations for a new era. Which should be obvious for any fan following Adam closely.

Anonymous said...

JAK here....once again swimming against the tide. I would love an album of covers by Adam. I've been dreaming of a playlist since Idol. I don't 'get" the demand for new songs only. If a song is good it should last forever and be enjoyed by more than one generation......and......concept simply means a notion or idea.....that idea could be the songs that shaped Adam's life...he was growing up in the
80's, learning to love music.

I, for one, would love to revisit these songs with Adam singing his heart out.....some would be a great improvement over the original artist.

Celebration..I Love a Rainy Night..I Love Rock and Roll..Ebony and Ivory..Eye of the Tiger..Up Where We Belong..What a Feeling..Every Breath You Take..Missing You..The Power of Love..Addicted to Love..Take My Breath Away..I've Had the Time of My Life..and my favorite and as he once said of Adam's....Sweet Child of Mine.

I would snap up an armful of an 80's cover album, because not only would I love it, but the friends I have unsuccessfully been trying to convert to Glamberts....those who say "I like his voice I just don't like his songs" would love to be gifted with an album of songs they know they like....and sung by a extra special vocalist.

So, if it's not a rumor, it's okay with me.....<3...<3...<3...<3...:))

There is no reason for anyone on here to get hot under the collar, and call names or say shut up. We were having a nice discussion about the rumor about if Adam might do a few cover songs. Nothing to get riled up about. There isn't any news about Adam right now, so it is nice to chat to a few people about Adam and his career, most of us follow him all the time and are very interested in what his next step might be.
Looks like he was making cute noises to the puppy, when someone said his name and he looked up, click. Very cute.

@ JAK, you nailed it. I completely agree with you. I think there are some great 80's songs that a lot of you younger people may not have heard, but would come to love.

Anonymous said...

Well JAK since I believe you are in your golden years you are exactly the audience who would buy this album. And it would absolutely signal the end of his career as a relevant artist. He would get no promo. He couldn't get radio play or tour on this stuff. It would kill off most of his fanbase around the world. A cheap ploy by the label to get some money out of his fans.

Anonymous said...

Adam's 3rd album will have an eclectic flavour, be it covers or new songs, I feel. And even a plausible Queen/Adam collaboration, hopefully a brand new song which would be a hit; due to the Queen/Adam reputation and success as seen in Europe. And I recall Adam hinting there is something with Queen in the pipeline and he said it with a special twinkle in his eyes. A Queen/Adam song is a sure hit to my mind because you have the best band and the best voice together in one neat scoop. lol! But Adam being the independent kind of thinker/artist will as usual have his unmistakable stamp on the album and so I don't visualise an all-covers album; some covers perhaps. Not to worry too much as Adam's recent tweet suggests, he has a great internal compass! What does that mean to you? :)

I have mixed feeling about this possible news...
I think Adam has a 3 album contract with RCA, so this would be a cheap way for them to get Adam to fulfil his contract and then they will part ways.....so that's not good...its clear from the article that they weren't 100% behind Adam on the Trespassing album. 185k in sales, whilst low compared to the big sellers, puts him right up there in numbers according to an article I read recently about sales numbers. The number of artists that sell over 100 out of the thousands of albums released each year is very small.

on the plus side, it is his covers at his concerts that get all the media attention, so maybe the media will be behind this.....I love listening to Adam sing anything, including covers....I still love listening to all his Idol performances, which were all covers.
And if he included all the covers he's already done, I would love to have studio versions of them rather than downloaded internet versions.
Would it get him new fans or radio play....probably not though.
Cover albums do sell, see Michael Buble and subo....but they've always made their career from singing covers....for Adam I think it is a step backwards....although not as big a step back as a Christmas album!!!

But I agree with a couple of posters, I do think it signifies the end of Adam and RCA....either after the album as he would have fulfilled his contract, or before (if Adam doesn't want to do a covers album) due to artistic differences.
But that's not necessarily a bad thing, he would probably be better off with a smaller label that believes in him more, and that aren't so quick to try and pigeonhole him.

on a shallower note.. I prefer the beard with his hair down, and with a hat like in the above pic, and the one from the jul 4th party...,,

@ 6:31 P.M......JAK here...I suppose you could say I'm in my Golden Years.....I think of them as my Rickety Years. However, my daughters are 50 and love the 80's music and my grandson is 25 and also plays Bono, Bon Jovi, along with the new groups and is a personal buddy of Skrillex (sp?) I'm never sure I'm getting that right. There is an audience for covers. Not just the over 70 crowd. Who knows if he would get radio play, he's getting very little now and if it's a scheme to get money out of his fans....good..it's also money in Adam's pocket.
Would I like to have my hands on a brand new album of fantastic original songs sung by Adam, yes, of course, but if that is not in the works, then I'd love a cover album. I like to hear him sing!
Fans were certainly desperate to get their hands on the covers that Adam did with Queen....covers, not original music. What's the difference? The covers he sings at his performances get as good a response as his album songs.
Whatever plans RCA has or Adam has, we know for certain we want to hear Adam sing. I play the cds I made of Adam's Idol songs as often as FYE and TP and enjoy them all equally.

NO MATTER WHAT I WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT ADAM. HE IS ONE SPECIAL AMAZING TALENT.

Anonymous said...

This whole album #3 issue is a real turning point in Adam's career. It could very well decide which way he will go for quite a while. Will he keep trying to fit into the mainstream and get Top 40 fans? Will he create his own niche and let the sales do what they will, in hopes that a new direction will work for him? He deserves success so much. The talent just oozes out of him. But he doesn't fit into a current music niche and his sexuality IS an issue, despite other openly gay singers who don't seem to suffer from being openly gay. (Frank Ocean?) Adam's path will be rocky, as it is already. I hope he can move into other media, stage, film, TV, in some capacity. He has too much talent just going to waste. I don't like the idea of a covers album, but it might actually happen. He'd do a kickass job of it, of course. No doubt about that. But the perception of doing a cover album so early in a career is that your own music isn't selling. Multi-million selling veterans can do cover albums and not lose their cred, but I'm not too sure about Adam. If he had some big hits under his belt, I wouldn't feel so iffy about it. This is a crucial point in his career right now, IMO. A record company isn't a charity; it's a business. They probably like Adam as a person just fine. But he isn't selling. None of us can explain the lack of promotion and radio play. I wish we'd hear something from Adam at some point.

A cover album would signal that Adam's career as a pop singer is over. The chance of a cover hitting on the charts is especially slim no matter how good we think Adam is. Die hard fans would buy the album and that's it. So for those saying it would be money in Adam's pocket it would be very little money and the last of it. If we want to continue to see Adam we better be praying the THR source is very wrong.

What you said is correct, Adam doesn't fit. Pop is not his strength, he's going to have to steer a new course and quickly. He has reached minor celebrity status and could always get work touring with appearances here and there.
Possibly theater again and clubs, but there has to be a great awakening if he's going to have star status. Now, what can and will that be is the question! I'm beginning to sense Vegas in his future. I hope I'm wrong.

But I also want him to keep -or achieve- status in the music industry by singing his own songs as well as selected covers-just like at his concert last Tuesday.Oh Adam, why can't this journey of our fan devotion be a more smooth sailing one???? Because you're "some kind of magic!"

covers are not bad even of the 50 & 60 plus 70 & 80 remember that has been years ago now new generations have not heard them.My grand kids love some of the old songs they are new to them just because they seem old to us.Adam should also write or co-write some of his own songs.Adam has more talent in is little finger than most have that are on the radio all the time.I will buy what ever he sings.

My 20 year old son is contstantly pointing out songs on the radio that he loves (he likes alternative). I am constantly pointing out who originally sang them LOL.

With today's media reliability (or lack of it) and the music industry being as it is nowadays, I'll use Adam's recent tactics and say nothing...

Trust the Man w the Voice!

daydreamin, what are these songs? I'm curious.

Why panic about radio play, it's a dying stagnant pool already. TV , downloads and live appearances are the future.

If this rumour is true, it's because Adam has plans that he can work around a fairly quick covers album and have additional time to get his 3rd album of his songs out. You remember how slow he worked on TP. Sure got sick of hearing soon-ish.

What ever will be, will be and we have to wait. I really hate all the predictions of doom. STFU

@5,33
Adam's Mom isn't part Jewish. She is Jewish. There's no such thing as being part Jewish. Adam is Jewish because his Mom is Jewish. A person can only be Jewish if one's mother is Jewish, and if one has a Jewish father and a non-Jewish mother, the offspring aren't Jewish.

Adam's 3rd album - not going to speculate. I'll wait 'til Adam tells us what he's doing.

A covers album would be a deadly mistake for Adam's career. He needs to come up with original material otherwise radio will never play it and of course that means no sales or very few, and that means very few concerts and no touring, he needs the sales from radio to go on tour and hold concerts, it's all about dollars. I also agree that RCA may not be supporting Adam as much as they originally did and perhaps a small label would be a good idea allowing Adam to remain true to himself if album no. 3 should not work out. Love the little puppy, he's almost as cute as Adam.

Michael Buble isn't mainstream radio...a couple songs have been big. His first album was a cover of the standards and it is incredible!! You don't see him with the usual suspects like Bieber or JLo at like MTV awards but he has a huge loyal fan base and fills arenas. Repeat fills arenas. I've seen him live and he is a great performer..very funny...he's been at it since '03. I kind of see Adam's career more like his....as much as we would like to see him on the AMA award kind of top 40 stuff. Adam also would be incredible on Broadway or movies.... Not being alongside the minimal talent top 40
pop really doesn't mean anything....so many extremely talented performers aren't . Another thing is we are all too impatient...

I had to laugh at the comment about @ JAK being in her golden years, I think she's more like titanium!
Do you know how many people in her age group there are worldwide? People who were buying records, yes, records in the 1980s, hundreds of thousands and they are the ones who buy albums, some don't know how to download or burn a cd or steal music. They have the money to buy what they want. People in their golden years made Susan Boyle a millionaire many times over. And she's boring.
Adam has a huge audience of Seniors and my mom's one and has all his albums, GNT DVD and pre-idol and idol performance tapes. She's never made it to a concert but she calls him My Other Boy. She and the grannie brigade have been faithful fans since they saw him audition. A fan is a fan, no matter what age. They come from a generation who appreciate an exceptional
voice not lip syncing and flashy dancing to distract from the fact that the star really has no substance.
I just hope he never makes a cover album of songs from the 50s and 60s, she'd be in line at Target, credit card is hand and price would be no object. $100, okay, $1000, okay. If he sang Moon River she might mortgage her
house.
I'd be thrilled with an 80s cover album, those were my wild years! Out of school and driving my Camaro to every club in town and dancing till 2 a.m. Those were the years my mom's hair turned white!
Oh, did I mention @JAK is my mom? Definitely titanium!

PS. 07:20 here.....huge people in the industry recognize his talent....don't forget that

7:23 AM
And you sound just as clueless as she is.

7:20, I see your point, and I'd love to see Adam fill arenas like Buble. But the two of them are so different. Adam is so much more out there. Yes Buble is very talented and funny and smart. Good stage performer. Adam has an incredible personality. I wish more people could see it and enjoy it. I don't think Adam's future path will be like the typical Top 40 singer, esp. as he gets older. We all thought that's how it would go, but it hasn't. His path will take its own course and he will succeed in his own way.

I see one of the forked tongue serpents has slithered out of this Garden Of Eden. This isn't my playground so I leave you to your snide remarks, mom can take care of herself and as for me, I just don't give a shit what you think. Bye

@8:05: smart move. Leave this place to the slugs & small minded idiots that have taken over this joke of a forum. I'm tired of slipping on the slim myself.

@7:32 - JAK is anything but clueless. She is one of the most knowledgeable and informed fans on this site. And to her daughter @7:23 - very wise and insightful comment. Thank you. I know your mom can take care of herself but so nice to hear a daughter supporting her mom. . . . Adamluv

7:23am (JAK'S DAUGHTER) ... I want to applaud you for jumping in with your comments. It was interesting and very funny. It's obvious the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree!

7:32am is just one of those mean, sad sillies that feels validated by getting responses the only way they know how. Be thankful you don't live in her/his brain.

ANY TYPE OF MUSIC-SONG ADAM LAMBERT ALWAYS GOOD AT IT AS LONG AS HIS VOICE- WONDERFUL-UNIQUE AND BARVO ADAM LAMBERT.HES ONE FO A KIND SINGER.

Anonymous said...

As this article mentioned that the label will pick the songs and be involved with album cover art why not have Red One to produce these 80s songs to make it one epic album? I hear artists give homage to 80s songs all the time. Hip hop artists do it all the time. Didn't Adam at his concert mixed a little bit of Michael Jackson at the end of his Pop That Lock performance? So this CONCEPT ALBUM COVERS OF 80s, can be something amazing and new that will put Adam on the map as a mega artist. Idol judge is still another news that is still out and open according to this article. We just have to wait and see! I'm big supporter of Adam no matter what direction he will take with his career.

Hi @JAK's daughter!! Thanks for stepping in and saying a few choice words :)))

Ageism and age discrimination rears its ugly head from time to time here. As we know, being "clueless" has nothing to do with age...

Anonymous said...

Will the grand kids show up next? Maybe that adorable hubby? We need JAK 24 7. !!!!!

@ADMIN!!!
Please do something ALREADY!!!

The douchebag(s) leaving these totally unbearable and f--kin idiotic comments - most recently on JAK's person and family - SHOULD BE BANNED FROM THIS SITE FOR GOOD!!!

WHY DO YOU ALLOW THIS TO CONTINUE?!?
By letting these lowlifes continue spewing their venom here - especially on long-time regulars with tags, on those who have supported you and CHOSEN YOUR SITE as their PREFERRED ADAM LAMBERT fan site out of many possibilities - you are slowly but surely loosing your supporters... so many have already left!!!

What are your wishes & objectives for this site?!
Be known as the AL Fan Site with the biggest number of negative, hateful and snarky posters & comments?!
Please answer and do something ASAP!

Adam looks so sad, I hope cuddling the puppy is making him feel better. The pic is tugging at my heart strings, too.

@ funbunn40.......Hi.......JAK here
And to think the thread started with a little puppy love !
Haven't talked with you in awhile.....I was so glad you made your excursion to SD to see Adam and meet up with "the girls"....what fun for you all.

@ 1:37 pm.....Don't worry no other family members will show up....I've already called and yelled at my eldest "Get off of my site." Her husband is working on my computer and she was browsing and discovered my whereabouts. After all these years!
That was a deep dark secret so I could feel free to laugh at various family members and fess up to certain antics of my youth.
However you obviously scroll past my comments or you' d be aware I only have one grandchild. Hubby avoids computers as if they were aliens from another planet sent to suck out the brains on planet Earth.

@ 2:32 pm....Thanks, but Admin. needn't be concerned
for me......controversy stirs up my humdrum days. It's good for my circulation . Age cracks don't bother me much, well, on occasion. But my favorite age quote is
" I take great comfort in the knowledge that I am now too old to die young"......

I really need my computer back, I'm ruining my eyes using little Applette, my ipad.

Just wanted to say your mum is a wonderful and amazing lady, and is one of the main reasons I keep coming back to this site.

@JAK and @JAK's Daughter

I know you don't need defending - and neither does your daughter, as is clearly visible. You both are so knowledgeable, clever, witty and talented writers, that you can or could - if you wanted to - tell off this.. this (really don't like to resort to name calling) forever present subhuman THING so it would not even know what just hit IT...

However, I called for ADMIN and I reacted, because I just had enough. While reading the posts - I really liked your daughter's post and "the surprise" in the end made me smile and go 'should've guessed'... - and I usually read them all, not just familiar tags or 'familiar anons', the posts of this THING made ME feel ASHAMED how THIS SITE presented itself to your daughter, a visitor, and CONTINUOUSLY presents itself to newcomers...and Admin could do something about this!

I have supported Admin and this site for a long time. Unless she is doing her thesis on "How People Turn into Subhuman Lowlives in Social Media", she should do something. I'm not being unpolite, just sad and fed up. I'll shut up now.

Happy Trails to you, your daughter and your whole 'extended' family (you have Adam and so many 'adopted relatives' on this site, I've lost count...lol), may you all prosper and visit this site OFTEN!

JAK here......thanks, I will relay your kind words to my daughter......she's the eldest, the 'quiet one', if it had been the youngest (she's wordier than I am) she'd fill the thread!
I'll keep her far away!
