Whoa, now Adam is dishing out his spare songs just like Gaga and Pink offered theirs to him...a full circle return; yea like Adam sings: you get back what you give away or in this case more like the reverse...not sure, confused sense of direction. lol! But One Direction is really popular and if they can make an Adam song hit the charts...that would say a lot, wouldn't it.

I'd prefer Adam to sing his original songs rather than give them to another artist but OK if he's being renumerated.

@first 6:49 I'm not sure Adam wants to be renumbered (renumerated) but I'll bet he'd like to be paid (remunerated). Just a slight difference in the spelling of words but a big difference in the meaning. :))

I wonder if any of those 'extra tunes' are as good as Runnin, Map,Take Back and By the Rules?......I sure wish those had been heard by more of his fans........JAK

I selfishly want Adam to record all of them, but business wise it makes sense to still get them out there. I've always wished he would make a new recording of Pop Goes the Camera,the lyrics so fitting and I just like it. Sounds like the new album will be rock. Adam does it so well and I think it's the way to go to get more into the mainstream, but I also crave the ballads. I really want it all, musical theatre classics included. My ultimate hope would be for Adam and Queen to write some new music and record it with tours to follow.

I’m not sure if giving away those songs to 1D is the solution... It wouldn’t even help him, bcs those guys for sure wouldn’t win a grammy with Adam's songs – no matter how great those unreleased tunes may be. 1D singing Adam’s songs is like Justin Bieber trying to sing a Queen song... Just not right. It would be better if Adam would record those songs himself. And I’m not saying this, bcs I am selfish, but if they are only half as good as one of his deeper, atmospheric songs like Runnin or Hold On, it would be a shame if he would give them away. I personally think they fit his voice and whole persona way better than those pop-songs like Cuckoo or NCOE. I really hope he goes more rock or dark pop on his next album and we can find songs like Runnin, Map, By the rules or Take Back on there.

JAK here....we'll have to wait and see what kind of 2013-14 rock Adam is writing......in the classic rock years there were a lot of rock ballads......Queen's "Who Wants To Live Forever".....Aerosmith's "I Don't Want To Miss a Thing".....
Guns n Roses , "Since I Don't Have You" and oh, a favorite.
Heart's "Alone!"
We may get it all.....rafter raising rock, funky rock and ballads for the grannies like me! At my age I don't want time to pass too quickly, but I wouldn't mind pushing it a bit for a new album! : )
