JAK here ........I hope viewers will know that Adam was hired before Cory's death........not after...as a replacement. There has been nothing in my local paper about Adam joining the cast this year. .......However I did have a "happy Adam moment" this past week. I was reading an article in the paper about the It Gets Better campaign and when they mentioned several of the people who participated it said " among the notables are President Obama and Adam Lambert."
I let out a little "eep".....my husband said "what's wrong?"
I said "not a thing" and sat there smiling.

oh come on JAK I am sure your hubby knew that was an AL "eep". lol

Could they possibly find an older picture of Adam? lol He doesn't look like the guy from American Idol. He's a man with so much sophistication. I love his look today! :) gini

The pic shows what's the mainstream US (and lazy ass journalists') view on Adam Lambert...still!

I was grocery shopping today and all of sudden I heard a mom and her daughter (teen) talking...and the name "Adam Lambert" popped up. I heard nothing of their conversation until then..and then whoa! my ears perked right up... They were talking about him being on Glee..and the death of Cory Monteith... Adam's really getting some press re being on Glee for sure.....

This pic of Adam is really an insult to him, it portrays an outdated image of him and ignores the many acheivments of his growth and development into the main stream artist he is today.

I won't complain about the photo, at least they put an article in the paper.

Not only is the photo not recent..why does he look 50 lbs. heavier? But, still cute.

Perhaps the media is trying focus peoples minds on remembering Adam from his idol days in the hope of making him appear more appealing to mainstream homophobes.

Sure would like to be able to read the article! Source?

JAK, love your little "eep." I have "eeped" myself while on my laptop with my headphones on. My husband says, "0k, what's Adam doing now?" LOL. Glitzylady, nice to know that people are talking about Adam on Glee. I think his impact will be big, esp. with a juicy role to play, which it sounds like he will have. I have NO ONE in my life I can talk to in person about Adam, so all of you here are my lifeline.

@DRG
Well talk away girl Adam is my favorite subject....I'm all ears all time about that boy!!!... As for glee ...I think he's gonna be great.... and I think it's a great way to reintroduce me to the public especially younger people .... rose petal

Although that pic is old, for those people that only remember him from American idol, it's a good thing. His look has changed, so the pic they used is one that more people will remember. Like, oh yeah I remember him from idol, I'm going to check him out on Glee.

Surely the US know who Adam Lambert is by now, if they don't they must have been sleeping under a log for the past 5 years. There are so many nice photos of Adam that are current but still easy to recognise him by.

@JAK - I have the same concern about fans not knowing that Adam was to be on Glee before Cory's passing. PROBABLY UNWARRANTED! OT - told a friend I was going to a ROCK concert tonite and she immediately said, "Oh, where is Adam Lambert performing?" I nicely told her that I do have other artists I like (of course Adam is #1). . . . Adamluv

JAK here......I finally learned not to "share" any Adam news with my husband.....but my daughters are kind and allow me to rattle on about him. I stop when I see their eyes are glazing over with boredom......my eldest said "It's okay Mom, we lived thru your Tom Jones.......Michael Bolton and
Daniel Day Lewis years.......we'll survive Adam. They are good girls.
But I still need this outlet....thanks Admin.

I have 2 adult sons, one 38 and the other is now 40, as you can see I'm one of Adam's older fans. My son's give me a strange look when ever I mention Adam to them. One day they came to visit so I put on Adams TP CD as we sat eating our meal, my older son was quiet taken back with Adam's voice and started to take an interest and my younger son picked up the CD looking at the cover and commented on how very handsome Adam is, "He's extremely good looking", were the words he used. I told them a little about Adam and how he had to struggle to become successful and they seemed to be quiet impressed, but they still think I'm a weirdo for taking an interest in Adam. Perhaps they think at my age I should be listening to the Golden Oldies music.

I wonder why Obama cannot invite Adam to the WH when a lot of Idols have been on occasion like JHud and Jessica Sanchez who even had a shout out from Obama himself when Jessica's grandma stained lipstick on his collar???

Anonymous said...

Possibly Sasha and Malia have some input on who is invited. Perhaps they are fans of Jessica.
I think they are a little young to be fans of Adam.
I'm sure the president could invite Adam but why would he?

Because LGBT agenda is in the forefront and Adam would represent them in the WH.
