I can't wait for Adam to appear on Glee! This is so exciting. This will give folks an opportunity to see what a great actor he is, and then so many more acting jobs will open up. It's about time he got that kind of break. Plus, I can't wait to hear the complete version of "Lay Me Down!"! Wow! There are so many great things happening for Adam!
Hey, I am an Adam Lambert fan, but when you say that his appearance on Glee will give us an opportunity to see what a great actor he is, how do you know this? What has he done previously to show us he is a good actor in a drama/comedy/musical role? We don't even know what he will be doing on Glee, although Chris Colfer said Adam would be his "nemesis". Of course, I want Adam to be successful in this role, and want only the best for him, but as far as being a "great actor" at this time, we will just have to wait and see.
I love this picture of Adam, but I doubt this is the way he will look on Glee. I wonder if he will keep the facial hair for his role. I stopped watching Glee this past season, but having Adam appear on it will bring me back as a viewer. I hope his part is well written and that we get to see him as an actor in addition to doing some musical numbers. I also want to see him promoting his role and Glee with appearances on the daily talk shows and the night time ones esp Leno who really seems to like Adam. I wish him the best of luck with this new venture on tv.
Did anyone guess, that one of the two pics that Adam liked is Adam himself. Taken from his pic of FYE cover on CD. If you doubt, hold up your cd, next to the pic, and you will see.
Even though Glee premieres soon, Adam will not be making his appearance until later in the season it seems to me. There is no talk yet from anyone as to exactlly what his role will be. I hope Adam's appearance on the show brings back some of the viewers who turned it off and also brings in some new viewers interested in seeing him. To many, he seems to have disappeared from the music scene and so this show should stir up some interest in him and his music. And I agree that I would like to see him on some of these talk/entertainment shows as he promotes the new season and his role on Glee.
Of course it is all just speculation at this point, whether Adam will be a good actor or not. Viewers will be the judge, and critics will have their say. Also, everyone may have a different opinion. I think many fans are just anxious for him to do well. They also have faith in him and his past acting roles in musicals; for example,"The Ten Comandments," among others. Sometimes whether you feel someone is a good actor or not, is also how you feel about that person. It takes time to feel comfortable in a role; especially if you are one of the new kids on the block, so to speak. I believe that fans just want the best for Adam; and they also believe in his wonderful talents. I have faith in him, and if given the chance I feel he will do very well. After all, he is a gifted spirit with many talents yet to unfold, and I can't wait to see them all.
I used to religiously watch Glee at the beginning because of the phenomenal singing on this show especially songs I know from the past. But I stopped watching because of the twisted unbelievable story line from the very first season which insults the intelligence & just watch You Tube for their weekly tunes. But now, I have no choice but to follow the silly plots just so I won't miss any seconds of Adam. I wish Glee opted for a more convincing and acceptable story line, it would have been gaining more dedicated audience along the way instead of losing them in ratings.
Acting on stage and acting on TV or a movie is an adjustment . . just like on Idol singing on stage was an adjustment When you act on stage you overact to the audience . . hope he gets good direction with this transition
To 12:45AM- I so agree with your comments about the unbelievable, twisted, silly story lines on Glee. As a retired high school English teacher, it was painful to watch the principal, slushy incidents, bullying, Sue's treatment of students and staff take place each week. I realize it is only a tv show and reality is not necessarily part of the plot so the only aspect that kept me watching was the musical numbers. Hopefully with the addition of Adam and Demi Lovato and perhaps other celebs to the storyline, we will see more convincing plot development along with the musical numbers.
5:06, you got that right. We don't know how good Adam's acting skills are. The musical theater stage is not the same as TV or movies, and his few seconds on PLL hardly counted. I too hope that he gets some good coaching for Glee. We all want him to succeed and perhaps even get more acting jobs as a result.
I am pretty sure Adam will get the coaching, and directing that he needs for his upcoming role on Glee. I also think that he will meet the challenges required, once he gets comfortable with his role.
Adam is like magic, once we think our Adam cannot get a break. Then boom, good things just come flying out of nowhere. He has such a good heart, such a wonderful inspiration. So loved by those who know him; and admired by many who don't. I am glad I am aware of him, a fan for life.
Adam's heart is full of love and light. I have never really heard him say a mean thing about anyone. I think like minded people are attracted to his beautiful soul.
OT: I am new to actually posting on this blog. But, I do read it often. This is my first post. It is so easy to post. When I used to read some of the comments, people would say that people were answering themselves. Which would be boring, but, so easy to do. I believe it is true now. You can say something annoying, and then come back and agree with yourself. So funny. Have a great day; I think I will just continue to read the comments every now and then.
Please post, you can even talk to yourself if you want to. Or maybe give someone a compliment, it might be a bright spot in their day. Speculate for a plot line for Adam's character on Glee? Or spread a rumor, " did you hear that Adam has decided to become a cantor in a temple?" They sing too you know. See how long it takes for TMZ to be speculating on which temple.
This site is a great place to express our feelings about Adam esp. if we don't have family or friends who care about him as much as we do. I love to see the newest pictures and vids or the latest news on Adam's career. The pics of him enjoying the night life with friends are just an added pleasure. We may not always like the color of his hair or the facial hair, the clothes he wears or the friends he hangs out with, but Adam Lambert is never boring or uninteresting. I've been a fan since his first appearance on Idol and will continue to follow his career esp. now that I will get a chance to see him on Glee.
If you think Glee's storyline of faking pregnancy by the teacher's wife and plotting to take a pregnant student's baby as her own is not twisted, then I don't know how tasteless one can be for that to be acceptable.
What about all the top rated long time shows with maggot ridden bodies on autopsy tables? Talk about tasteless. Depictions of abuse of every kind, rape, murder. Endless shows of young people whose only goal in life is getting laid usually by people they have known only a matter of hours if that long. Glee seems fairly mild in comparison.

What a wonderful tweet from Mr. Sedillo, the Glee Camera Director. Shows great respect for Adam. What a warm welcome.

This is one stunning picture of Adam baby.

DRG
A dream come true! Adam Success! HH
Not to worry, he is the best!
I am pretty sure Adam will get the coaching, and directing that he needs for his upcoming role on Glee. I also think that he will meet the challenges required, once he gets comfortable with his role.
So all the moms are worried about Adam's acting skills now? Why don't you leave that to Adam and the director.
An unbelievable storyline on a dramedy on tv?! OMG! Next you'll be telling me prosecutions and courtrooms don't run like they do on Law and Order!

When Adam makes his first appearance on Glee, let's make sure everyone we know watches; so that the ratings can skyrocket that night.
If I asked any of my friends to watch Glee they would question my sanity.
That's funny 11:41. They may fool you and watch anyway, just to see Adam.

You're out of line with your logic.
