2013 Leaves me speechless and my jaw has dropped permanently open. There may even be some drool running off my jaw.

I'm there 6:19 - BEAUTIFUL vampire - other shots of look rendered last night sleepless. Expected to find fang marks on my neck this AM......(Darn!!!! only a dream).

Yea I like all these Glampire pictures and I have written 3 Glampire poems. Mmm, I actually almost printed my 4th Glampire poem, just short of clicking the publish button; when I saw Adam in the Ali Baba cloak and subsequently followed up with Lambjinni instead. Not bad...got 'rave reviews' from my long-time poetry pals/PP lwl! Thanks again PP! So what happened to Glampire Part 4...Well, it got tweaked and became LeatherVamp, a vampire rocker-biker. lol! Need to follow Adam, you know, he is way way too fast for me. lvl! (laugh very loudly) lol!

Wow! Five years have gone by so fast! I have loved every moment, the high points and the low points. Hope there are many more Halloweens to come, whether Adam is a glampire or not!

LeatherVamp vs Dracula

LeatherVamp treads across a tight-rope wire
A daredevil, he waits for Dracula at the quagmire
Hmm I see a tall figure with a lean and hungry look
Approaching LeatherVamp at the brink of the misty brook
LeatherVamp readies his infrared laser beam
Dracula whizzes by, sizes up the black-leathered fiend
Who bursts into a high G+ whale of a scream
Resplendent rocker hair, leopard eyes sparkle in the golden moonbeam
He yearns for a taste of real blood...drools, emotion floods
Dracula offers a glass of red fizzling wine
LeatherVamp smiles, sips the liquid sublime
All at once Dracula transforms right before his eyes
Revealing tainted fangs, chokes LeatherVamp's neck !
LeatherVamp instantly strikes back with his lethal skull-ring infrared
Blood spills out of Dracula's eyes, stares daggers
Shapeshifts...bloody fangs dripping, zigzags into the abyss
LeatherVamp mounts his gleaming titanium bike
Vrroom-vrroom...speeds towards his antique mansion
Werewolves howl in the damp eerie hollow
As the rockgod silhouette speeds past droopy willows
His leggiero overly bold; shifty shadows coast
Out of a rock hole, hell breaks loose...a barbaric winged vampire screeches...kraaakkk !
Zooms and launches a contorted beak attack
LeatherVamp flicks his long dark hair, whacks off the parasite
Heaves his bike in the air with the glare of blinding headlights
Collides, merciless, sends the vampire squawking into the night
Resuming his mountainous ride, LeatherVamp takes flight
Fades into the convolute labyrinth, under the full moonlight
With music to soothe the savage beast, the angel of the night...
Arrives at the antiquated porch of his antique mansion
Doong ! a solitary doorbell sound echoes
A neat well-attired butler in full white and red tie
Opens the skull-crafted heavily fortified door
A waft of steamed hot beef stew drifts to the fore
Butler takes LeatherVamp's long tailed coat
He sits at the rosewood table where two fragrant nostalgic lit candles float
Yea those were the days, my friend... LeatherVamp ruminates
Suddenly the doorbell sounds a solitary...doong !
Butler hurriedly opens the door...exclaims: Oh we've got a date !
Come right in...and soon LeatherVamp in bloody Halloween fangs, celebrates...

OT.....I have one quick Halloween memory from tonight's trick or treaters. We have a neighbor child who has been dressing up as Ariel the Mermaid every year....her Mom made her a top of 2 seashells and a few straps and she has a long fishtail iridescent skirt. She's a darling and of course we fuss over her and her brother.....this year my husband took the bowl of candy to the door and greeted them. I got there just as they were walking away.

I said, "I see Hannah is a mermaid again this year, I wonder how long she's going to wear that costume, she must be about 11 now". My husband said "well if she wears it again next year, she's going to need bigger seashells!" He's right!.............G'night all......JAK

Hey Thank you once again Poetry-pal; I think you may be my oldest poetry-pal in more than one sense...we were actually right there from the start line...Whoa, like DRG laments, 5 years of Halloween just whizzed by...Hey your husband is observant to say the least. lwl! Actually, it's quite fun the way you all celebrate Halloween. 1st Nov...today is All Saints Day...my Baptism day / some 50 years ago; 2nd Nov is All Souls Day...people remember those who have passed on.

Ok, I'll admit, the Leather Vamp could visit more often than just before Halloween... THAT could be his real look for a while, fangs and all. Esoecially the ALL... :)))

OT just a little.

I wish the press wouldn't call Adam "Glambert." I rather like "The Glam One" for him. We, his fans, all of us are Glamberts.

If I remember well, Adam sort of thought the name, Glambert was bestowed on him on Idol S8 because he was always at his best as The Glam One. Yours is appropriate and nice. It could have started on Twitter also and the fans appropriated the name Glambert. lwl!
