Adam Lambert 24/7 News

Anyone who saw Adam perform with Queen recently knows how great he was. No one can take Freddie's place, but Adam comes the closest to being the best singer that Queen could have perform with them. There is such respect and admiration from all three of them for each other and it showed that night at the iheartradio concert in Vegas.

Brian May, said that since that Concert; they have been getting lots of offers to do concerts with Adam. He said the future looks bright on that front. I really hope that it happens. He said Adam's voice is one in a million. I have the Iheart concert on in the background now. On Queen and Adam's part on You tube. Just love Adam's voice and the band together. Just love listening to them.

Roger Taylor and Dr Brian seem to be eyeing Adam from another angle now; they really love him mostly for his talents I think but also as a young artistic colleague. They treat him like their equal and that's really good; but we know their vast experiences, wisdom and wealth will lead the way for precocious upstart, Adam. Hey I seem to hear something blowing in the wind...Mmm Adam as Freddie in a Queen movie. Hey Roger, that'll bring in your millions in cinema, dvd, cd, etc.

I disagree Lam-my, Adam will never play Freddie in a movie. They already have someone for the part. Also Adam has said he never would want to be Freddie, but loves to sing his songs, and add his personal touches to them. He would prefer to haves some more gigs with Queen, and that is what Queen wants too.

I say: Hey Roger and Dr Brian...Kick it like Beckham and score a banana goal! The Adam ball is in your court; no pun intended. lwl!

Brian May recently said that Adam one in a Billion; he gets upgraded each time he performs with them. He keeps improving if that is at all possible. Soon people will run out of words to describe Adams macnificdnt vocals.

Both Brian and Rodger have said this Adam is one in A Billion and they have never heard a voice like Adam's. I think that speaks for its self how they rank Adam as a singer and performer. Also stated he a great Entertainer and performer with a staggering range. They also said There songs are very hard to sing and Adam is a better fit for singing their songs than PR but Adam was just a better fit for their music. Said Adam a Diva and that's just what he should be and a great Entertainer. They also stated he was fun and easy to be around and have said he like family. They stated if you don't like someone you cannot work with them. They usually say they probably would not want to do 9 month tour because of this and that and they got other stuff going but , would do a few choice dates. But last time I heard him it was different a bit, he so many people want them to tour they are thinking about it. That Adam performed in front of 300,000 in Kiev and was very calm he definitely can handle it. It did sound like they were thinking of some what of a larger tour. Just sounded like it to me. Either way pretty sure they will do some concert dates as he stated Queen plus Adam are getting many offers since I Heart!

Thank you very much for bringing that information here. I had heard most of that information from Brian in an interview; Actually interview he has been involved in. He does always speak so highly of Adam. He did say they think of him like family. Really says a lot about Adam; that everyone that meets him feels the same way. He is such a beautiful soul. Feel lucky to be his fan.

Gotta admit the accolades for Adam coming from Roger and Dr. Bri are fantastic and so impressive and an honor for Adam. I'm sooo proud of him. I still get a smile on my face when I think back to the iHeart performance and the goosebumps I got being there, seeing Adam making magic on stage with Dr.Bri and Roger.such an amazing experience. I think it's a real possibility there may be at least a few full concerts in the US ( and I'll be there if it is).

I'm not a keen football fan but sometimes I watch how these footballers score goals using very difficult and stylish strategies. David Beckham scores goals with banana kicks, powerful far-off kicks, all kinds of kicks lol! And so there is this famous saying: Bend it like Beckham, which requires him to curve the ball into the goalpost to avoid the other footballers guarding the goalpost; thus the name banana/curve kick, scoring a goal. Many other famous footballers use this curving-in strategy, beautiful to watch.

Respect Brian and Roger so much. Adam is better than any lead singer or solo singer I have ever heard or seen. He is Adam - no need to compare because he is the one that will skyrocket to the highest echelon of entertainment.

JAK here....Brian and Roger want a relative unknown to portray Freddie. Someone who has no public persona to detract from their being perceived as Freddie. The English actor they have chosen is experienced but not widely known.
I think it's a wise idea.

Cohen was too identified as Borat, etc. and Adam is certainly identified as the Glam Idol singer...
wonderful as the performances are with Queen, and I hope they continue infrequently, I doubt Adam wants to be identified as a Freddie stand in.

Broaden your horizons, dear, your thinking is so US centered!

The rest of the world (via media) and especially Europe has already known and loved this "match made in heaven" from EMAs 2011 and from the 6 concerts Queen+Adam made during Jun-Jul 2012 in Europe... It's only US that has been (and still mostly is) clueless about the Awesomeness of Queenbert!

Great thread ths morning! First, I think Bri and Rog may have plans in the works with Adam that we haven't event thought of yet. They know they have a gem on their hands, and frankly, they aren't getting any younger. Adam's potential is too huge to waste!

glitzylady, Thanks for the info about Glee. So, am I right in assuming that Adam is involved in at least two more episodes?? It sounds like it. Glee will never be the same since AFL's appearance. He has such a presence and a command of the stage. I LOVE that he's working on more with the cast.

I don't think Adam is really suited to playing Freddie on film. The actor who does it needs to really create a visual Freddie illusion. Adam looks too different, and his demeanor is different. I'm sure whoever they have chosen is going to be good.

This was addressed by Brian in a recent interview; and Brian and Adam agreed; I don't think there were ever any thoughts, of Adam doing this, by Queen or Adam. You are absolutely right.

Although, Adam is one in a Billion Vocalist; He knows what his passions and great abilities are. Queen and Adam all live in reality. I don't think Adam ever wanted to play Freddie.

Adam is doing just what he was born to do, and his greatness will continue to evolve as he continues his life's journey in the universe.

I totally agree with you @10:15 AM. Some overeager fans want to see Adam doing anything, just so they can see him, even if it's not good for his career. Fans just have to trust Adam's decisions.
