This is heartwrenching. I don't know how Lea got through singing that song. Hold on to all the special memories that you have of Cory, Lea. RIP, Cory.

Give me a break. Celebrating a drug addict? Hate Hollywood, this stupid show, and her. So sad Adam is even going in this direction.

Our society has become so complacent with drug addiction that it makes me sick! No one spoke out about the horrors of Cory's drug addiction, not even his girlfriend. His horrific problem was simply swept under the rug and his young life was glorified with song. What a shame-Glee could have devoted their hour to drug addiction and how it can ruin your lives, but, NOOOOOOOOO, let's clean up all the bad stuff and make a pretty show. Shame on Glee for missing the whole point of Cory's death. A huge young crowd, I am sure, watched "The Quaterback" episode and came away with a few sad songs. Cory's terrible situation could have been so differently handled, but all the people that surrounded him and proclaimed their love for him, in truth, let him down. Rest in peace, Cory. The whole sad point of your life was so beautifully covered and cleaned up with one hour of Glee.

I'm pretty sure all the young kids watching Glee knew how Cory died. The episode was meant to heal the cast and the many fans who loved Cory. Kids would only be turned off by a show warning them about the effects of drugs. etc. They know that already. Personally, I think it is more effective to "know" someone like Cory and all he had and was, and now he's gone in an instant. The fact that this could happen to such a beloved young man is not lost on anyone.

They did a very hard thing and tried to handle it the best way for all. I thought the show was very good. Also everyone knew how he died this just showed how drug addiction can tear up so many other lives other than the victims. They addressed it in the end if the show. cM was a sick young man and he paid the ultimate price for his sickness that's what I got out if it. He lost his life to drugs how could that not impact who was watching. Unless you lived under a rock you knew he died of a drug overdose with alcohol. They mentioned it at the end.

Lea Michelle's performance was heartwrenching, her love for Cory very apparent. I am so sad and yet so angry at Cory for throwing away an amazing life, he was so blessed. Drug abuse makes me sick, I can't believe young people even start hard drugs with all you see on tv about how it ruins everyone's lives in the end. RIP, Cory, you've left so much pain behind.
