Very enjoyable group of pictures.
Thank you to all who are putting them out here for those us less fortunates. ;)

(discreetly whispering - have we ever seen Tommy in a suit?)

Anonymous said...

I have never seen Tommy in a suit and I think he would look very nice in one. I think he just does not like wearing one, some men are just like that. More important Rick had one on, he looked very nice. Sue

@7:43 Yes we have. I think it was Brooke's wedding. He went with Liz.

I'm 7:43 AM
Thanks for both answers. I do have a vague recollection of a wedding now that you mention it, but I still can't recall Tommy in one as his 'work' clothes. I can relate to him, I'm female and don't own a dress anymore.

I usually ignore Tommy. I would like Adam to have a new guitarist, preferably a female. Tommy is loyal, but I think also a yes man, because he ruins the productivity or in this case progress. I think it tells something about Adam as a boss too (easily impressed). The live shows and the set list have not changed for ages and I would have left after Shady. Feel free to disagree.

I like the center picture the best. Tommy and Ashley are in it also. But Adam's look is so unique to him, IMO. I've never seen that expression on another singer before.

I think the band looks terrific! So nice to see them all dressed up. Even if Tommy is not in a suit, I've never seen the other members with so many clothes on and they look great.

Btw, the stage looks like a Masonic temple, lol.

So many wonderful pictures of Adam at this fundraiser. Adam looked exceptionally classy in that designer suit. It was good to see the band together with Adam also. He seemed happy and relaxed. I agree with @9:04AM. I think that Adam needs some new music, a different set list. He did a great job with Queen and superb when performing covers, but new songs should be what he is working on now. I hope we will see a third album released in the spring of 2014...new music, new look, new beginnings.

Just Awesome! They all look good, especially Adam!

love all the pictures, the band all spiffy.

@9:04AM-I so agree with you that Adam needs to get with his band and practice some new covers. His new music will not be ready until 2014, so any concerts before the new album might be the same set if he does not branch out with at least some new covers. Society today has such a short attention span-give me something new every day. With his incredible voice, would this not be possible? New music and new covers!!!

Nice to see Adam together with the band. Everyone looks so nice and Adam seems very happy and gorgeous!
Can't wait to see and hear more videos from the event!..nancdruuu2

Wow! Adam's gang looks so great. Love that Adam doesn't let his spirit be bothered by gossipy websites. THIS charitable event is so much more important than anything else. The crowd took to Adam right away, you can tell!

I think that Adam is so busy that it would just about impossible to come up with a new set list. The time, practice, music, and rehearsal,...etc. Just too much for Adam at this stage in his career. He working on new music, taping Glee, going on Ellen, planning with Queen (hopefully), and probably working with Nile. His plate is full. Some of you are little too piggish when it comes to Adam. Give him a break.
I would Never ever leave an Adam Lambert Concert, even if he was only singing the ABC's and the Phone Book. I am utterly mesmerized by him.

@9:04 AM, you must have a very strong will power to entertain the thought of walking out on Adam...more power to you!

Can we give the suit a hand! It's Gorgeous, and fits Adam to a T.
Applause! Applause! Applause!

MANY THANKS! for all who are sharing pics from last nights Make-A-Wish event.

9:04, some of these people probably had never heard or seen Adam perform these songs in person, hence, the set list was perfect, judging from the audience's enthusiasm. Nothing but
immense pleasure and praise for the performance, just read some of their quotes!!! Also, even if some of them were familiar with the songs, seeing and hearing Adam is not something anyone in their right mind would have entertained walking out on. But that is your wish, if you were there, and thankfully you were not any part of it. But, guess what, I sincerely think his voice and charisma alone would have nailed you on the spot. JMHO. All good.

Why would Adam have to do covers? He has plenty of his songs he hasn't performed live at all or if so, rarely. Get arrangements to the band, they learn them, Adam rehearses them and.......sprinkle in a few like Chokehold,
Soaked, Kickin In, Sleepwalker, Fever and Voila!

@Anon 9:04 AM
Just a couple of thoughts.

Re the set list from last night: Specifically, in this particular case, the audience was one that (correct me if I'm wrong...) was most likely made up largely of people who have not heard Adam in concert before and may not be familiar with his music, beyond a couple of songs, perhaps beyond Idol, in many cases. Not his "usual" audience. So the music could well have been new to them. Just not to us, his fans. The benefit concert was sold out before Adam was announced as the headlining musical performer. The set list he and the band performed was certainly one that they had done more than a few times this year and was one that Adam and the band were all familiar with, they were comfortable with, and felt confident in performing, without extensive rehearsal time. Hearing and seeing Adam sing live last night had to have been amazing, as it always is. Seems like those who were there and have commented on it loved it.

I cannot imagine walking out after Shady. Ever. As in never.....Seriously. :)) Your call though.....

I agree with you about the new music, I, like every other fan, am DYING to hear new music and I can hardly wait until we hear something, anything. But in the meantime, I'm excited for Adam and all of the things he's doing right now. The things we DO know about, and the other endeavors we DON'T have a clue about.

How about Runnin, Map, Take Back, ICLYG..so many..and many that have never seen the light of day..come on Adam..let's hear some of them!!

@10:39 A couple of new songs on the set list would not be bad. I mean different songs from his albums. He's been singing Music Again and Strut for too long. Same with some covers. Brian is his md but Tommy said he recommended the cover songs. To me it's like Adam don't give a damn. That's why it's good he's on glee. It's the most positive thing at the moment. I hope his role is purely fictional, not based on his own life.

Great classy pic of Adam & Band members! Hoo! Hoo!

Glitzylady @10:48 I guess I would make a hell of a dramatic exit that he would realize there is someone who is not quite happy with the set list. :)

who ever can even think about walking out on Adam must not be a fan any way.Elvis presley sang the same songs all thru his career and even now his same songs are played that was what he was known for. Never get tired of them nor do I ever get tired of adams.

Anonymous said...

The better option is that he would change the band or at least replace Tommy. The sound would be different and then he would not have to make changes to the set list. It may be strange that the music part is so important to me, but honestly I have never been a fan of just someone's body parts.

11:40 Will you be turning three soon?

Anonymous said...

11.40 it would have made you look like a hell of a jerk. No one would have worried about you at all. These people at least some were not all that familiar with the set list of songs and by all accounts they loved it. He will always sing WDYWFM a Grammy nominated hit. If you were a fan you know he has said he working in new music which will be out 2014. Next year will be all new set. KP at I heart sang her three year old album and only sang one new song and she now has out a new album. It takes time to learn the songs. Adam will be fabulous in Glee don't worry about it at all. He said that some about Starchild reminds him of his younger self. Adam life has been interesting and productive nothing wrong with any if it imitating his fascinating life. He will do a killer performance on this worldwide show. Nothing is wrong with Adams band or Tommy. This is all am excuse for non fans to trash Adam and Tommy.
By all accounts he did a great job everyone had a great time and that all that counts. If he did not give a damn he would not have been at this great charity doing a great job of entertaining them and raising money for very sick children. Can't wait for next year most likely some more Queen and new music. I doubt he will ever perform bonus tracks they just never do.

@12:09 - love your post, especially the last sentence. The music is the most important thing to me also, not the glambulge, the melvin(or lack of), the eyes, the lips, the hair, etc. The public in general only cares about a good song, not how gorgeous or sweet the musician is.

Back to stupid and mean comments and long lectures from the expert.

Just can't believe the vibe on this site!
Place is filled with beautiful pics of Adam, the man has just made a great performance for a good cause and straight after a busy "Halloween week", during which by the way fans have had their "work" cut out for them, so much to see, read and digest. Only a few days ago the man gave us MTN, he is going to be on TV in a couple of days etc.etc. And here some people just complain and bitch. Then the rest rush to answer to these bitches and 'defend' Adam... ADAM DOES NOT NEED DEFENDING! Be and act like fans, support the most gorgeous performer in current music business with the one in a billion voice. Leave the managerial stuff to Adam and his management. You're not qualified.

4:15P.M. I was thinking the same as what you said people are so undeserving of Adam when they have things that to say that are in bad taste. why watch some thing if you don't like it don't watch then complain and dampen it for others. I love to watch Adam & to hear him sing & it could be the phone book.

Anonymous said...

I'd love to hear Adam sing some of his own songs in concert that he's never sung live before instead of covers, but if it's not possible, so be it. I would NEVER leave an Adam concert unless it was absolutely out of my control i.e. there was some terrible disaster where everyone including Adam had to leave the venue for safety reasons.

The Make-A-Wish pics are gorgeous.

@1:33 thanks. After reading the twitter I knew there are a few likeminded. Luckily Adam has the forever satisfied fans who do not bitch about anything (yea right). The live vids were more bearable when Monte was the guitarist. I am not a Monte fan and I don't want him back, just that he did a good job then. This current combo is not for large audiences and tv performances, but it's perfect for NYE in Thackerville.
