JAK here.....just got home from an all day Thanksgiving feast.....a super birthday party......and a cut throat Rock Trivia game with my kids. I held my own against 4 super champs of the 70's and 80s and 90s ...... rock experts!
Hooray for Me! Saw my grandson in the Macy's parade wearing PINK coveralls with a hat and giant scarf holding on to the purple hippo balloon!

All in all a day to remember.....epic! Now I just have to stay awake to see Adam on Glee and then I can lie down and die happy....Love to you all!

JAK here......I am thankful that a bad fall I took Wednesday morning did no lasting damage and didn't make me end up in hospital E.R......other than aching in every possible part of my body, I got off easy...no cuts, no bruises, no broken bones.....just a sprained thumb! : )
........though it is amazing how a useless thumb makes life difficult! Just try fastening a bra without a thumb! My husband was glad to help......but he did take 'liberties' .....
Men are so predictable ! Even at 77!

@JAK I am praying for you, darling.

Adam is learning Bridgers way of thinking. That is a new quality in Adam. More equal attitude.

Ouch, I feel for you and am thankful you have your DH to help & "make it better" - and I'm thankful he still has it...the predictability (cough!) I mean.

The useless thumb syndrome, I know!!! Been there, too! Fell, tore a ligament, was operated on, the thumb "never the exact same, but almost as good as before..." were the dr's words... Luckily you suffered no bigger injuries, so let's be careful out there!

BTW - wrote you a message/answer back in the old Genie thread... probably deep in the archives already...
