Definitely Adam wins Halloween hands down...look at all the various characters; as I said, first time I got really steamed up this Halloween. The other years I wrote one poem each, this year two and extra long. lol! The red-fur devil / hoong-moe quai, is my favourite; especailly the painstaking, elaborate makeup around his eyes, so intriquing. Oh the spiked jacket is my daughter's favourite; she emphasised that when we saw you live at Star Theatre. Actually, Adam is such a Halloween expert; he should produce a film on Halloween, weave an intricate touching story around it. Adam, what do you say? And you must sing in the film, that's the crucial essence, your voice and technique.
voted for adam! love halloween!hey glamberts, nov 2 is diwali!i pray that this diwali brings happiness in all of your lives.just wanted to share this:).....india glambert.
Hi India Glambert...Happy Diwali !! It's also called Deepavali here. It's a public holiday in Singapore and a lot of Chinese and Malay people and others visit their Indian friends and celebrate with them. We have a district called Little India and the place is beautifully lit and Indian people buy goodies and new saris, shoes, attire to prepare for the festival. There are elaborate celebrations at their temples and there are a number of beautiful Hindu/Indian temples here.
hai lammy! In india, especially in tamilnadu(my native is tamilnadu),we will call deepavali or diwali.thank you so much for responding to my comment.happy diwali! to all my glambert friends.hope all glamberts here in 24/7 notices my comment.
Doubt it. Who is md? Michael Douglas, the perfect suit man? (sorry, could not resist --- also rather odd to use the word 'tasteless' about a Halloween outfit, ha ha haa!)
@ 1:07 ..... JAK here.....why tasteless? The horned devil is a figment of imagination. There is no description of Satan as having horns, tail or pitchfork in Bibical literature. That was a depiction created by artists with a great imagination in the medieval ages....or even before. The creature with the hindquarters of a goat and upper torso of a man with tail and horns was a direct steal from the descriptions of the Pagan god Pan. But it was appropriated by the church to frighten and intimidate gullible ignorants. It worked, some people still think the devil has horns.
The references in the Bible to Satan describes him as 1. An angel of great beauty and 2. A serpent..? I don't quite get that ! But that's what it says.
However this relegates "the Halloween devil" to the company of Dracula, zombies, Frankenstein's monster, the Easter Bunny, a leprechaun and Tinkerbell , they are all fiction.
However.....vampire bats are REAL. Thirsty bloodsuckers!
Why thank you @ 1:11, I'm not sure about cultured but I am insatiably curious. Ravenous for info on almost every subject.....but algebra ...the very word makes me shiver. I still have nightmares of standing at the chalkboard with an algebra problem in front of me and no idea where to begin. It's my kryptonite ! .....JAK
JAK Don't be scared about algebra. Okay, what is a+b+y+z...You sure you don't know. Okay hint hint...the answer is staring at you. lwl! See it's easy. lvl! Alright, you have a point, it can get tricky but it's rewarding to the brain when you solve something eg. a simultaneous equation where I work backwards ie. start with the assumed answer and work towards the actual answer. I enjoyed algebra but it needs an enlightened teacher as in all subjects; Adam is a great enlightened teacher.
@ Lam-my.......JAK here.....I had a crush on my Algebra teacher, that probably didn't help....but I think an Algebra gene is missing from my DNA. Neither daughter or g'son get it either. We all passed with a decent grade but had no idea what we were doing. Divine intervention probably helped, I know I prayed a lot !
I don't think my brain is wired for math.....now History, Art and Literature are alive and well in my skull!

I voted for Adam too but I much prefer the other Halloween costumes Adam wore this year to this one.
