Urban Dictionary
Dork
word of the day: December 11, 2010
Someone who has odd interests, and is often silly at times. A dork is also someone who can be themselves and not care what anyone thinks.

What was he being a dork about?

BTW, the urban dictionary isn't a real dictionary. Anybody can make up a definition there.

Love the adorkable Adam.

Apparently, the Urban Dictionary is the source of all trendy knowledge for the upwardly mobile in the 21st century. ;-)

Hah! They should spend a little time browsing in a real dictionary if they want to be professionally upwardly mobile. I've thrown a lot of resumes in the trash. Poor handwriting and spelling is a definite no-no.

10:32 My hat's off to you! However, Cursive (handwriting) is no longer taught in public schools, spelling isn't considered all that important as long as the teacher knows what the intent of the writer is and math isn't pushed on kids like it was in the good old days. The computer age is upon us. It types in "print," spellchecks for us and there's always the calculator at hand. Sometimes change isn't all that good. My grandkids can't even write their signatures. Sad.

One is either educated or not. Computers should aid us not be a substitute for wisdom. Those who lived during The Age of Enlightenment must be turning in their graves
In despair.
