Adam and Justin Bieber have known each other for quite a while. I remember that special Adam/Bieber handshake backstage and he sort of respected Adam like a kind of brother. Adam demonstrated a stylish handshake to him and he to Adam. If only he was close to Adam who might be able to stand in as a caring big brother. Justin Bieber has performed in Singapore as many times as Adam. The last Bieber performance was just last year at the Sing F1 races and Adam, the previous year F1 races. Hope Justin is okay; get up and go again. Sometimes I feel it's a case of too many cooks spoil the broth; too many people telling him what to do. One learns best when enough room and space is accorded to a person to be able to find their way most suited to them; and learn from their mistakes rather than being constantly led. He needs the freedom to internalise mistakes or successes by himself in order to know what works and what doesn't. You'll get through this, you're young.

yes i remember Adam's 1st year after idol he met Justin a few times at different events. As for Justin's arrest, this whole thing is just blown up in the tabloids. Seems Adam still cares. Adam is really caring and i love that about him.

Justin is the one doing the telling.

And the problem is, he doesn't learn from his mistakes.

For someone to learn life skills and most importantly internalise them, the right environment / family guidance, are crucial; without which he'll learn temporarily and goes back to the same old habits. Not referring to Justin specifically, but everyone.

Justin needs to get in rehab and straighten his life out before he kills himself or someone else.

This will not be the last we hear of Bieber's stupid actions. He has no respect for anyone, especially those in authority. He will not learn anything from this episode. It will be years before he realizes what a fool he has been as a young man. All I can say is, God help him, before it's too late.

I don't think that Adam liking the picture of Bieber meant he likes Bieber. I think he likes that Bieber was arrested finally. He has been getting away with a lot of stupid stuff lately., and it's Time someone stopped him. Adam should not have anything to do with Bieber, and definitely not have his name linked to him. Adam is thrilled with the picture showing Biebers arrest.

Adam liking that IG doesn't mean he likes Justin or likes that Justin was arrested, it means that he liked the comedic post that was written about Justin.

Adam treats his younger peers with care and respect; as you can see in many occasions not just with Justin Bieber. I remember Alisan Iraheta whom he calls his little sister and he cried when Alisan was voted off. Adam identifies with people who are in trouble be it their fault or circumstantial; he's been there, he knows; the only difference is as he puts it, his family keeps him grounded. I'm sure you've heard this analogy; when a young plant is growing, it needs to be propped up so that it gets sufficient sunlight and nutrients as well; otherwise it might not grow to fruition; similarly a young person. The 'propping up' seems to be lacking in JB's situation. Also lack of school input which disciplines the brain and mind to think logically, rationally, sensibly.

I think the saddest part of the entire Bieber story is the fact that his father was there and arranged to have the street blocked off so that JB and his friend could race their cars. Where was his father the entire time his mother was raising him? Was he involved at all in his son's life then? It seems that many of these young performers esp. in hip hop and rap, have those who hang around them, give in to their every whim and let them believe they can do no wrong. Remember Elvis and his "Memphis mafia"? I guess it's nothing new. He's just fortunate that he has not maimed or killed someone so far or even himself. He needs someone to keep him grounded, out of trouble and to help him learn from his mistakes. All that money, success and fame came too fast without much of a foundation from family, school and values. Sure he's young, but that doesn't mean you have to make stupid and outrageous mistakes for the fun of it.

So many have attributed Justin's latest bad behavior to his age. He's only 19. What about all the other 19 year olds who go to college, work one or two jobs to pay their bills, are family oriented involved in sports or their community. They are not out drinking, taking drugs or racing expensive sports cars. Now his long absent father seems to be there right in the middle of it. He needs Scooter, Usher or Will Smith to sit him down and get him whatever counseling or help he needs before something serious happens to him or to someone around him. Too much, too soon, too young...How often have we seen and read this story with musical performers or those on tv or in movies. It seems to me that our young people don't have too many positive role models out there esp. not those who achieve fame, success and fortune at a very early age. Some make it through; some don't unfortunately.

Justin has chosen a posse that he admires and emulates.

Bieber's bond was only $2,500 for 14 counts against him. That would have landed anyone else in the slammer without bail. I can only hope the judge in Bieber's case throws the book at him. He needs to know that actions have consequences and if he doesn't learn now he will be Chris Brown, 2.0 or shot and killed by one of his "gang." He also needs to learn that he's a white Canadian teenager who was handed everything on a platter just because he was cute and did some videos on uTube when he was 15. Have LiLo be his counselor...what a hoot.

If my kid or your kid did what he did, we'd see that kid through plexiglass wearing his orange jumpsuit while talking to him on the phone. It wouldn't be for a day, it would be for several YEARS!

If you get it that I'm sick of celebrities and entertainers getting away with the stuff they do, you're right. They're you and me, just richer.
