Sorry OT But I am concerned about JAK a commenter further back on the "Adam wont be performing at any Grammy related event) thread said JAK is very upset about a picture and wont be back, what picture is this. It would be terrible to lose JAK one of the more rational people on here.
I feel if she goes I go. Any info anyone?

She had good reason to go, a lot of regular commenters left, having good reason for admin allowing a certain cropped picture to be shown. Which was followed by a lot of lewd remarks and disrespecting Adam. Best to let it die a natural death. Don't think many will return. There are plenty of other sites for people to enjoy about Adam.

Yes, unfortunately, JAK said she was leaving the site...a sad day indeed. I hope after a while, she will come back, at least occasionally.

And until things change on here, I think there will be more long time posters leaving..we have already lost so many.

I don't think it was just that posted pic that caused her to leave. @JAK was becoming a target of the bullies who poke fun and ridicule others just because they can. More and more disrespect is happening here. No one is immune. Sadly, she has apparently just had enough. This blog was once a friendly, happy place. A place to share stories, joys, and to flail about Adam Lambert..Now it feels like a minefield at times. When it no longer is fun, people leave. I hope this trend reverses itself.... :((

I was writing my comment when you posted yours. We share the same concerns....

I did see JAK's posts in the deleted post. She wrote three or four posts. She was very upset by the picture, found it very disrespectful. It may have been a final straw but it was that picture that made her leave.

I've been on this blog since it was created and it used to be a great place. Now it's full of arguments, bullying, nastiness and disrespect. It's very sad. No wonder people leave.

I did.not know JAK left! I too am disgusted by all the nastiness here. If we can find a better place to go where comments are moderated and the sight is as user friendly as this one, I would leave too. I also have been here since the beginning days where people were at least respectful of one another. I just don't get how its ok to be so disrespectful toward another. Treat others as you would want to be treated.

I don't remember who it was but somebody else with a tag said they were leaving because of that pic too.

I agree Daydreamin, we can have differing opinions on things, but we should all show some basic respect for each other. I look forward to reading comments by you and the other regulars who are brave enough to post with a name. You all provide the rest of us with great info too. It makes me sad to think of JAK not coming back.....I so hope she reconsiders.

Do any of you ever visit Amazon forums? Well there's discussion forums under each product also where people can talk to each other. Adam's first album, FYE has a section called Customer discussions with all kinds of threads. The most active one is titled For Glamberts Only. It's just a handful of people, but they discuss Adam related issues. They are very friendly. It is heavily monitored. But I do think you have to start an account and purchase something. I might be wrong about that.

I keep coming to this site because the info is so thorough and current. Thanks Admin! I can ignore the cropped pictures, but the negativity and disrespect is harder to take. Yes, we are a diverse lot, but expressing entitlement or rudeness is not for me. @daydreamin -- a long time ago you asked where I lived --Eureka, up in the redwoods.
