If there is anything going on we will hear about it sooner or later. Avicii started working on his next album, didn't Nile and Adam and Avicii do some collabing for this? If they did I hope it makes the album.
THAT MUSIC LAY ME DOWN-SHOULD BE A SINGLE AS AVICCII PROMISE TO ADAM FANS AND INTERNATIONAL FANS-BUT AVICII DINT KEEP HIS PROMISE. COLLABORATION WITH NILE AND OTHERS OK-
stab
Because Adam sang LMD on stage, I though that it`s not going to be a single, am I right? Just wonder. Too bad! I´m still waiting for it as a next single!! M
Does it matter if you sing it before it is a single; does that determine that it won't be. If not, that is very unfortunate for Adam. The guy that sang Wake me up is all over the place. On so many shows and lots of radio play. That is why I wish they had made LMD a single, is it too late now; anybody know?
@9:42 AM
What are you trying to say?
Maybe that is why Adam stayed in New York; to meet with Nile; and lay down some tracks.
LMD should have been a single; if it is not, what is wrong with these people?
@10:08 AM
I meant Avicii = stab. It steams me every time I think of Tim lying about making LMD a single. I hope it comes back to bite him in the butt big time.
it is interesting that so many reviewers called out LMD as one of the top singles, but maybe Avicii does not want to promote the singer, but his composition. i thought adam's choice of wording about 'big start/little names' at Biloxi was a bit out of character, so maybehe decided to start doing it live on his own, or as a way to next single. does seem like the window of next single may be gone, but then again maybe it is just startingup in new year.interesting how close adam is to big names in the past 2 years- Nile, Avici, Pharrell
I think you are being hard on Avicii, it is not his decision alone as to which songs are singles. His label may have said no to Lay Me Down. I personally do not think the production was very good on the song, even though when we finally can hear Adam, he's great and it's a catchy song. Why be so mean? Avicii may be as disappointed as we are.
Fool me once, shame on you
Fool me twice, shame on me
@10:58 AM I'm sure Tim is disappointed all the way to the bank.
@10:45 AM That's great, your criticizing Adam and the next post defends Tim.
We have no idea about business aspect of music world. Artists do anything in their power to make their music heard by the masses in this current environment of music industry where artists' music is cheaper than cup of coffee. It's juvenille to blame any artist for the way things are handled.
I am sure there a numerous reasons why LMD wasn't a single... anything we bandy about here would only be speculation (unless someone wants to step forward and admit to special inside or industry knowledge)... so, putting aside all speculation, my own personal opinion is that it is simply a shame the LMD wasn't a single, it's a hot damn track with a wide appeal and likability imho... with a little edit a radio friendly track as well. Too bad it won't be heard in more wide spread release is what I feel most deeply ... to bad for our guy, but too bad for the listening public at large as well!! I think it also had a lot of appeal to a large AGE range of the listening audience also. Oh well, onward and upward.
It would be nice if we all commented without the name calling. Surely you must be able to make your point in another way.
@10:45am quoting you: " i thought adam's choice of wording about 'big start/little names' at Biloxi was a bit out of character"
I didn't hear what you said on any one of Biloxi's videos. Could you please give us a link to back up what you mentioned Adam said at Biloxi concert? Thanks!
What Adam said at Biloxi was: who heard of Avicii? There is a track on his album True called Lay Me Down that they forgot to put our little names and I'm singing it. He gave shout out and praise to Avicii at Biloxi.
Nile Rodgers @nilerodgers 2h
Happy B-day @NickyRomero. Today I'm working on that insanely funky w us & #DavidGuetta http://fb.me/28JGyZXxg
Well actually he gave shade to avicii. He said avicii is a big star so he didnt put our little names on the track but that's me singing on his album.
Avicii is the star and the vocalists aren't credited. Nothing was forgotten
UK RADIO STATION TOLD AVICCII THAT LAY ME DOWN IS-WAS REALLY NICE-GREAT SONG- MAYBE FIRST SINGLE?IT NEVER HAPPEN OH WELL-
P;S ADMA LAMBERT NEXT ALBUM HOPE HE INCLUDE THE LAY ME DOWN SONG-
Give me straight talk every time. Tell it like it is.
Whoever is working with Adam on writing and producing his next album, I hope it turns out to be a successful collaboration. It's been a while since WWFM, Adam's first hit single and it is time for another one this year. For someone who is the best vocal talent in music today, Adam deserves so much more recognition and success than he has received so far in his career.
Avicii never lists the featured singers on his albums. Its not jut Adam and Nile. Nobody is named.
Avicii has said that the singles are being released in the order that they are on the album.....in Europe I think they have just released track 4...LMD is track 8 so a whiles to go yet. But it sounded like he was planning on releasing all of them at some point.
Do not understand why Avicii - or anyone else - does that? Not giving credit where the credit is due. Why is this allowed? Why are the managements of these artists/singers/performers ok with this? Usually everybody contributing on a song and the cd/album are mentioned... Just wondering how is this possible in general and what has changed? Are there truly no legal and/or contract issues involved?!
That's what I read, that they would all be released as singles....sorry no link right now...
RoRo missin OMRG? Me neither.
Joinstar
Hope so.
