When Adam walked into that first audition his charisma was evident before he even opened his mouth.
It's more than good looks. It's intangible. But it hits you right away.

Can't wait to see both Adam and Chris as they work with the contestants and Randy Jackson during these Idol workshops. They have to keep changing the format to hold the interest of the viewing audience and to present the best contestants possible seeking to win Idol.

One reason Adam didn't win was because all of his three tel. lines were giving busy signal for an hour. I remember I couldn't get through for the first hour to vote for him. Checked KA lines and they were all open. So for the first hour I voted for KA three times and none for Adam. But I didn't give up. Once Adam's lines were open, I voted like crazy for the next three hours. Ofcourse another reason was DG fans voted for KA and then we heard about the power text voting for KA. Only if we knew about that new power text voting feature then Adam would have been a winner. Oh well, we all have moved on to so many great things Adam has done for the past five years. He is a Sure Fire Winner!

Love Randy's description of Adam. He is so charismatic. Randy certainly felt what we all did that last night when Adam did not win. I'm sure it shocked all the judges. I'll have to DVR both shows because I won't be home either night. But I can't wait to see them!

I wonder if Idol will be on for many more seasons. The ratings are still not all that great. I want the producers to know that many non-regular viewers will be watching just to see ADAM. (Chris is fine, too.) Adam is THE most special alum of that show. He possesses all the tangibles AND all the intangibles.

Mixology promo with LMD has been shown on ABC numerous times for the past few weeks. I saw it couple of times yesterday on my TV.

Great compliments from Randy and Idol that they chose Adam and Chris out of all the previous contestants.

More Glee in March & April. Do we also know if Adam will be on Idol live results show on 2/20?

Adam should have won of course. Sorry Adam is choosing to go with that hair and nose ring on national TV spots. It is a shame. He is still cute but too far out there for mainstream now. Career will not flourish as much. I like the TP look. That album should have blown off the charts.

DRG did you know when you dvr a program you have to watch it in so many hours for it to count in the ratings? Don't ask me how many hours tho.

This is the style he has chosen to look now. It won't hurt his career. If you think the nose ring will hurt him, remember he has always had earrings and an ear ring like the nose ring. It hasn't hurt him so far. It's been mostly not having a 3rd album for him to promote, that has hurt the most, not his style or looks.

9:30 am, you have no idea what is mainstream. That hair cut is entirely on trend and nose rings are no big deal. Get out of the senior center and go look around your nearest mall.

I can hardly wait to come here after Adam's gig on AI. Already people nit-picking superanalyzing critizing. Fun and games.

I totally agree with your comment about Adam being current with his look, etc., because it is absolutely true. Half the male population, particularly the younger, trendier guys, have relatively short hair on the sides (the other half have the no-hair look like Chris D..), facial hair, and piercings are more and more "mainstream".

But your comment re getting out of the "senior center" is not cool IMO. People of all ages have eyes to see and ears to hear with, and come with a multitude of points of view and opinions, and your reference was age-ist and discriminatory, again IMO. Sorry. That point of view re the hair and nose ring could have just as easily have come from anyone, of any age. Just because someone is "older" doesn't automatically make them oblivious.

So true; but the way you said it made me laugh out loud. I was just going to ignore the comments at 9:30 AM. I don't believe that thet were meant to be mean spirited toward Adam; but, so off base in my opinion.

Nothing much blows anywhere without radio play or other media outlets; plus huge media promotion and attention; no matter how you look.

Adam is a living breathing hunk of talent, chrisma and beauty that just want wait. Let him shine anyway he wishes to; no one can stop him now!!

Adam is so much taller than all the others and that full head of gorgeous hair makes him even taller. He looks so good.

Adam will always have the IT factor going on. Adam stands out - when he is on stage with a group of people, your eyes gaze directly toward him. Of course he's gorgeous and sexy, but there is something else. Call it charisma, call it magic, but he has you under his spell and you want to see only him, hear only him. It sounds very much like love and I've got it bad!!..............nancdruuu2

Adam and charisma ..... The word describes what he has perfectly. In my long life only about 10 people I've known or seen in films, etc. have had that quality that reaches out and grabs you. He's got it.

I believe they made two good choices to kick off the season on Idol. Adam who can sing any genre and Chris who is a rocker. Adam sings rock and is great, but he isn't a rocker. Chris is only a rocker, I am not a particular fan of his music but I know he is respected in that genre. Plus Adam has a glamour that Idol needs!

Piercings and Seniors......my husband's golf buddy turned 70 a few months back....he wanted to do something outrageous, his son Mike said " dad get a tattoo".
That idea didn't appeal to him "wouldn't it hurt a lot to have wrinkled skin tattooed" he asked. What he did was get one ear pierced and buy a whopper of a diamond stud! In the sun, it's almost blinding. His wife was stunned. He explained " when we're gone, Mike will get the boat and Connie will get the diamond"....so his kids and his wife got a kick out of his present to himself ! Now he loves the reaction he gets from young studs when they see his sparkler stud! Seniors know how to have fun.....

Happy days are here again; I can feel it in the wind; and this is not just spin.

Sorry, ha ha, I got to rhyming and I just coundn't stop; Adam Lambert often affects me that way.

I got a special little calendar just for Adam's activities; don't want to miss a thing. Bring them on!

I always liked Chris Daughtry; kinda quite and serious and very talented in his field of music.

Only time I disagreed with him is when he picked Kris Allen over Adam to win.

IMO AI has 3 very good judges this year. Also Adam and Chris are a very good choice to be mentors. I am very pleased that they did not overlook Adam, to be part of the show. I hope both guys get paid well, and the exposure for both of them will be great.

In that article posted @11:25am comment above, the writer of the article from San Diego declared Adam as San Diego Vocal Dynamo singer and CD as Idol winner. Well said, Mr. Varga. It's a must read article and there is another new picture of Adam, Randy, and Chris.

Randy's comment about "song choice" certainly hit a nerve with me. So true that one important ingredient to being a "superstar" ruling the charts is picking the right songs. I think we can all agree with Randy that it's not necessarily the best singers who "sell" their songs as if that were the case Adam would have been ruling the charts for years now. Still,...I am positive that Adam will really hit the jack pot at some point in his career so massively that no radio station can refuse to play his music anymore.

Does anyone remember when Randy said to Adam during Hollywood week....."I think you're going to be one of those stars". Randy has always recognized Adam's talent.

I just posted on the later thread, saying that I also noticed the error about Chris winning Idol. I'm sure his fans will love that error, just as we love it when Adam is called the winner of Season 8. Nice article about Adam, although the comments about Queen are a little strangely worded. Not inaccurate, just seems like the person who wrote them didn't really know much about Queenbert. Anyway, it's all good. On with the show!
Oh, and Adam looks very hot and current and sexy and the hair is great and the nosering is perfectly acceptable and and and and and and and ......

It happened a long time ago!, yeah, adam was clearly robbed, but he is clearly the breakout star of that season,
and those blaming daughtry for picking Allen over Adam,why? His choice, just like you have yours. Besides, Kris is a good singer too.
