This show is about the contestants and they know Adam and Chris are the best to guide these new fresh faces...:)

Thanks for sharing this sneak preview indeed!!:)

At this stage of AIS8, Adam already stood out for me and I would tune in to see how he progressed. So far I don't seem to see any standout but it's still a little too early in the programme and I just popped in once in a while. But when Adam mentors next week, I would probably have some picks of standouts. To date, I still feel the AIS8 panel of judges was the most diverse and interesting. And they never ran out of superlatives for Adam's performances.

I can barely hear it. I don't know what is being said.

The only reason I am watching it this season is to see Adam. Obviously, they need to escalate the ratings since no one is watching Idol. If the producers made the right decision originally, and had Adam as judge then it would have worked out for the show. No, they had to bring in JLo again and the other two. No one cares. Lame show now but at least I can see Adam. I hope these contestants understand that not only do you need to be able to sing but you have to be endearing with a great personality and good looks help. Adam Lambert has the total package which is why he is now a superstar. Always exciting too!

To Lam-my: After reading your comments about this season's contestants, I agree that so far no one stands out to me. Obviously Adam spoiled it for me because I seem to compare each one of them to him as far as vocal talent and stage presence. Adam was the only person I ever voted for on Idol and it took me over an hour on the phone to get through. I look forward to seeing Adam as part of Randy's workshop sessions and I am sure his advice will be beneficial to guide them on the path as they pursue a career in the world of music.

I'm not going to get into any conversation about the contestants or judges because I'm only coming along with Adam when he's on the show. He leaves, I leave.

You can turn up the volume by using the volume icon on the bottom of your screen.

Can't wait to see this! Adam looks so gorgeous!.

7:53, I'm with you.

Wow. Off topic, but Randy Jackson is wasting away. I've never seen him that thin.

Will be watching, Adam is good for making suggestions, and helping people out.

THANX! to 24/7 I was able to see this. Last night the TV station chose to televise ET instead of the Insider b/cuz of the Olympics so ADAM wasn't shown. Maybe on another night (fingers crossed) so I'll keep on checking ... THANX! again!!!

@8:06 AM That's exactly what I did, both on my computer and video. And I went to youtube to try to make it work. Yes my computer is plugged in.

I've always been a fan of Idol so it is a bonus for me that Adam is on. Looking forward to the new segment and Adam.

I too have been watching this season. It has been kinda disappointing when the judges have let go of some very good singers but have kept average singers. I guess they are the professionals. I hope we don't get a Philip phillips or Scotty Mc querry again. I'm sure they are nice but I like mine more edgy. Any ideas why? Haha. Adam will ALWAYS be number one in my book! If these judges would have been judging Adam's season, they would not have put him through.

Hi TSC...
Yea, I hope this season picks up a bit, right now they are more or less of the same standard, similar style of singing and song choices. Adam should be very helpful in these areas; he changes up the songs and injects his own perception and feel into them. Actually, Born To Be Wild was the first time I heard that song but he made it so current and boy did he rock it to the core! I do agree that Adam actually has 'spoilt' us and we want to see his level of performances, otherwise our brain tunes off. lol!

When Adam was made, the good Lord above definitely cut the mold. Too much of a good thing is not good. Adam is one of a kind in so many ways. We are a very fortunate fandom to have someone so rare. We are the wise ones who really know and appreciate true talent. Those AI judges can kiss my a**.

@7:08 AM, Amen, I agree! Adam would have made an excellent judge. @7:53 AM, I'm with you!

@9:43 AM

I agree with you about these judges not choosing Adam I he came before them. Thank God Adam was on when Simon and Paula, and Kara and Randy were Judges; I consider those to be the most objective. Thank goodness for Paula; and she is still in Adam's corner 100% as she said that she always would be!!!

@11:14 AM

You made me just laugh out loud; your post is so funny; and so true. Can't wait to see our BB this upcoming week. I am going to watch, and set my DVR, and my VCR so I will still have all of Adam's TV appearances long after my cable company has gone, or changed.

I think the current judges would have recognized Adam's talent and put him through. Keith and Harry really seem to know what they are talking about and give good feedback to the contestants.

@11:43 AM

Maybe; but I am so glad we didn't have to chance it!

@Adamluv ... you're welcome. I sat in front of my TV with my jaw dragging on the floor ... this is the third time these idiots here failed to show ADAM on Insider. If not for 24/7 & Ytube I'd never get to see any of them. I'm going to watch Monday night ... Insider is on according to my cable guide ... but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed & anything else that still works ... Love 'n Light

@7.08am,

I'm watching Idol this year....

This year so far has been much better than the last 3 years. Better judges, much better production, faster paced show, far fewer bad auditions and sad backstories. New twists....

Don't care you wins at this point, some good voices in the final 30 with a couple who definitely shouldn't be there. But with the new twist coming up they may not get to sing anyway.

This year's Idol batch are amazing talents and they have eliminated a few of really good ones to make room for variety.
But I predict that Spencer Lloyd from Texas shall go far to the end because he is exquisitely handsome.
Geaorge Lovett and Bria Anai are outstanding vocalists so far.

Lammy at 9:46 can you tell me if you had never heard a song before how you knew it was current when sung by AL? Just asking, not being snarky.
