LA NBC Channel 4 News talked about Family Equality event and mentioned Adam Lambert as one of the entertainers for tonight's event. I'm sure there will be more coverage of this event at 11:00 pm news right after Winter Olympic coverage.

Are you posting from the event; if not, how do you know he has a nose ring on? I can hardly see his facial features.

The fact that Adam is sporting his same gorgeous facial hair look is non-news; news worth reporting about his facial hair would be when and if he shaves that beautiful face.

I love that face any way he wishes to present it; as long as I can see it every chance I get!

Ya know, he really was. I have seen him 24 times now, and I was really struck by many things about him tonight. He has the smoky Kohl eyeliner on, and it looks terrific up close. (I was less than a foot from him talking to him). His skin looks great. The nose stud is tiny and very becoming. He seems very happy. The suit fits beautifully. He has a lot of brown in his hair. In many ways, the best I've seen him."

9:52, yes, she does need to drop that pose. Not a great photo of her close up though.

A photographer taught me that if you don't feel at ease when being photographed, let your arms fall to your sides and touch your thumb to middle of your middle finger. It makes your hand look graceful and your arm relaxed.
Putting hand on hip is a no no unless you're in swimsuit and heels doing a glamor shot!

Even though Leila has been photographed a lot these last few years, she's probably still tense and nervous every time. I would be.

About Leila's pose on the Red Carpet (I cannot believe that people are criticizing her here, I mean REALLY???!!!) But since you are, this is what I've been told by those who know something about posing for pictures too...:

The hand on the hip is a pose that many many celebs, models, and others (including moi :))) use when being photographed. Practically speaking, it helps to create a slender appearance, by putting space between the body and the arm, creating a slimmer form. And turning the body partly to the side does that as well. Not sure why anyone would wish to suggest to Leila what to do when posing for photographs anyway. She knows exactly what to do from what I can see. I doubt she was "nervous" so much as wanting to present her best appearance, just like we all do. Give a shot sometime. You'll see what I'm saying is true....

Leila does often look awkward in red carpet photos, like she is trying too hard at the skinny pose.
