"It was sickening nice to meet Adam Lambert yesterday evening. He's such a fierce dude!" --- or something like that was said in that guy's instagram (in the pic w Adam).

What's up with all the use of 'yak' words meaning cool, great etc. Sickeninggg. :))))

Anonymous said...

4:35, the kids have been using words like sick and bad to describe cool things for decades now.

To meet him is to love him. I want that chokehold! LOL

We love `" QUEEN" NOT so much lambert!

Where did that come from? OT for sure. : )

Ignore the troll.

Talking about Queen, I was not a huge Queen fan, but I think Adam performs with Brian and Roger, not Queen. Brian and Roger have performed with many other artists and that was not really Queen either, imo.

@6:01 AM

What? Who are these "we", that you are supposedly speaking for? It would be a heck of a lot more intelligent and believable if you were to speak for yourself! Also, for future reference; that would be a Capital "L" for the one in a million voiced, "ADAM M.LAMBERT", as said in the words, of Brian May and Roger Taylor of "QUEEN".

By the way; I don't really care what "you" love.

I for one, can't wait until Queen, featuring Adam Lambert, begin their pending concerts in the US this year!!

Do you realize you are on an Adam Lambert's fan blog? Are you lost? Barred from Queen's fan site? Or just here to stir up trouble?

So much for ignoring the troll

6:35, True, but you can't deny Brian's and Roger's incredible enthusiasm, respect and love for Adam. They've had a few regular frontmen since Freddie, but they really gush about Adam. His voice, his personality, his look. It's obvious they think he's something special. The original Queen is gone forever, but B and R have found a real gem in Adam to keep the music alive.

IGNORE THE TROLL

Anonymous said...

Looks like Adam got to meet many Swedish stars at the Grammi party.

I wonder how long Adam will be in Stockholm recording.

Anonymous said...

@6:35
Maybe you should let Dri & Roger T decide what their act is called and as long as they call themselves the Queen (stated also on Roger's drums, on their website etc), the Queen it is.
And also hope that no hard core Queen fans see your post... :(

Side note: There are lots of (less popular or smaller size) bands using the original name, even if there is only one original member left.

Anonymous said...

@7:17 no worries. Maybe if they still had the original bass player then it would be more like Queen. Ok, I was only joking. Although, he did write my fave Queen song, You're My Best Friend.

Anonymous said...

Just read that Deacon also wrote Another One Bites The Dust. He was inspired by Chic's Good Times..

You should know that Bri and Roger have a great sense of humour. Maybe some Queen fans don't, but it's their problem.

6:48 am #1 & 7:08 am

Everyone has a right to respond to any post, and express their opinion; let them. You may be bringing more attention to who you perceive to be a troll.

Anonymous said...

7:47 am, do you really think 6:01 isn't a troll? One request to ignore wasn't working. Have you noticed what happens around here when people respond to comments like that? It just ends up with dozens of snotty comments.

So let's change the subject. Do you think Adam is still recording in Stockholm or on his way back to LA?

Anonymous said...

@8:04 I don't care really. I'm not a stalker..

8:08, are you looking forward to Glee next week? I am.

Anonymous said...

Yaaaas I am looking forward to Adam on Glee next week. This week was so much fun with Adam on AI him and Chris brightened up the screen.

Anonymous said...

@8:11 Yes. Now that you're asking, I think Glee is my fave of Adam's recent gigs :) @8:08

Do you peeps know Avicii did a remix of his True album, maybe some of you like remixes. Adam is so cute the way he pops up all over the place he must travel as Dusty Madrid. Lol

Anonymous said...

naw he disappear again !!
ow fuck
come back you *****

Anonymous said...

Tbh, I can't stand Avicii. I don't care even if he worked with Adam and Nile. I prefer Prydz.

@8:04 AM

@7:47 AM here responding to your thoughtful post:

Thanks, for your opinion; yes, I do think they are, in answer to your question; I do!!

Now moving on, In answer to your question regarding our Adam; I am not sure where he might be; with Adam you never know, which is probably a good thing. I guess we will know, when we know.

I personally love all the Adam surprises. He may even be on his way to another Country. Goes that way sometimes with our beautiful globetrotting superstar!!! Have a nice day.

I just read on twitter AI ratings were at an all time low. Lucky Adam and Chris's fans tuned in those nights.

Anonymous said...

Yep, without the many Adam and Chris fans who usually don't watch it but tuned in to see them, the ratings would have been even worse. I guess people are just not at all invested in the contestants anymore. Idol is probably on its last legs, maybe only a year or two left. As much as I hoped Adam would get a judging spot, I'm kind of glad he's not a judge now. Just let the show run its course. Adam is certainly on to bigger things.

11:01am where did you read that? Can you give us a link?

People look for entertainment and The Voice is doing it. Judges on that show are more involved to entertain. Tons of promos of the Voice during Olympic coverage.

Anonymous said...

I think Adam's dad ethic roots are Nordic.

Anonymous said...

I meant ethnic

One of my grandkids is performing at a school function the same night that Adam is on Glee - Yikes! How can I choose which family member to see! Do I leave the school early, just send Pop Pop in my place, catch an illness. Just joking - grandchildren always comes first (sigh). I can catch Adam later I guess.
nancdruuu2
p.s..I know this has happened before at her school. I must talk to the principal about this.lol

There is a video with just Adam's parts of Idol, on Youtube. Saw it on a couple of sites, here and on Adam Official. Good for those who missed the shows.

Anonymous said...

I think one Idol judge is too aggressive, and the other 2 or like playing good cop, bad cop. Seems to be all about the judges again. Took it off of my DVR Thursday night. I will watch on the nights that Adam is on, if that happen this year. Or if it gets interesting near the end. Too many other good programs I want to see are coming back for another season.

@ll:43 AM

I am not 11:01 AM, but I saw the information on a site I got from Adam Official, called Wet Paint. You can probably also google it. It did say the future looked bleaked, but was rooting for it, pretty good article to read.

Adam's grandfather came from Norway

Brian May wrote a blog about the use of the QUEEN name. He said since he and Roger are the only two left of the original four - they are still QUEEN and will always use the QUEEN name.

The first comment after 6:01 was reasonable and still friendly.
From there it went downhill. Can't you see how so many leap on any negative and turn it into a snarling mess?
You do it to yourselves, you brand someone a troll and roll with it. If the person at 6:01 is actually a troll you have given them great power by your reactions. Some threads get eaten up attacking. Sometimes it seems as if meanness lives inside of people and is just waiting to pop out at any provocation . Think before you type and there might be less fighting.

You have a lot of good, valid points. The last time I wrote something similar saying 'you this' and 'you that' I got reprimanded being bossy, telling people what to do, showing myself 'holier than thou' etc. So you can't say 'you' (i.e. not including yourself or giving the impression you're better than others), but you can't say 'we' either (cause there's no 'we', Glamberts differ sooo much, and everyone is entitled to express their own opinion ad infinitum)...

There's seems to be no way getting "grown up", constructive commenting and discussion on various issues, that would honour freedom of expression, differing of opinions and still peoplr would be civil towards one another.

Some of the reasons for this (imho)
- this age & era of web, social media in general; "thumbs up or down culture", like/dislike simplicity, anonymity and constantly increasing amount of hate talk (what does this tell about human nature...and how people feel and act towards one another)
- majority of regular commenters here are of 'mature age', not brought up in this age of constant competition & snarkiness, still write longer comments with whole sentences with grammar & punctuation in place...(web commenting = max 4 lines, attack & be funny/snarky)
- attitudes and set of values vary a lot, when here are people from all over the world, from various backgrounds, of different upbringing
- cyberage has also changed the whole concept of being a fan and what it entails today...some changes are for the better, some maybe not... IMO being a fan should be great fun, joy and love, FLAILING and being OTT HAPPY should be allowed in any age, on any site without anyone restricting it with their "get real" or "you're delusional" or "you idiots" comments!
