Wow, very beautiful insight in to the spirit of Adam from this fan's perspective? Very interesting? Adam has some truly talented fans. Of course they have a subject like no other!

WOW great interpretation!

off topic but just watching Enter Sandman from New Zealand such an uninhibited awesome performance.
Bring back the black. I guess this fan art must remind me of wild Adam

intriguing.

He wears a mask in public, the only part we are allowed to see. Underneath is the real Adam, we will never know, it is too private. The closest one who MIGHT see under the mask would be a partner, if he ever decides to have another relationship, and even then, they might not see all of which is under the mask. This is just my interpretation of the picture, others will see it differently.

Interesting and creative fan art. I always love these.

OT: Just watched my DVR of the Beatles 50th anniversary on the Ed Sullivan Show program that was on Sunday night. All in all, it was very good. I like some of the performers more than others, but all in all, it was good. I kept visualizing Adam as one of the guest performers, singing almost any Beatles classic with flair and vocal perfection. Ah, well.

In a sense, this fabulous art connects to the art of Kabuki with which I am certain Mr. Lambert is familiar if not a devotee.

Stunning and interesting. Provoking, and I love that about it.

Also what I find absolutely captivating, and am in awe of, is how the image "behind" the mask, the image that is supposed to be living breathing Adam, really captures Adam's true looks!! There has been many an artist's rendition of Adam and/or his likeness, but many of them don't quite get it right (not throwing shade, I am absolutely in awe of most art that is shared with us that is representing Adam's likeness/face, I'm js), but the portion in this piece that is supposed to be Adam in the flesh, that section of his face, really truly looks like Adam, like a photograph. This is magnificent to me.

10:04 am, very good and interesting art. So detailed. Is it colored pencil or paint or?

Kriszta said...

Marker and colored pencil.

Kriszta said...

This is me too. :)

Krisztina:

WOW! Beautiful is the least word for your art. How long it took you to draw this? Is it all pencil?

Hope Adam sees it!

You are very talented.

Kriszta:

Thanks for answering! WOW again!

@ Kriszta

JAK here.....your work is excellent and reminds me of the renowned English book illustrator Arthur Rackham.....
So you know that's high praise!

In my opinion, this art work reflects most of mankind. It somewhat reflects the "Three Faces of Eve" profile. If we peeled back all of our layers; how many faces would we see?

Personally, I see Adam pretty open and honest about much of his life. He admits to having no filter. With Adam, I feel that what you see is for the most part, what you get. Of course he has private things that he keeps to himself like the rest of us; as well it should be.

This is a beautiful piece of art and is of course open to all interpretation and opinions. Very interesting thread.

OT @DRG - I watched the tribute to the Beatles last nite and IMO it was a fabulous show. Wasnt sure I'd stay tuned the entire 2 and a half hours but it kept my interest and found it so much fun to watch. And yes, I also wish Adam could have performed - my song for him would have been Imagene (my favorite Beatle song of all). Didnt know Katy Perry had such a glorious voice - girl was impressive. Loved the reunion of The Eureymics (always a hugh fan of Annie Lennox) and to see Paul and Ringos reaction to them was heart warming and the sweetest moment ever. Loved watching the fun Yoko Ono, Rita Wilson and Pauls wife (sorry dont know her full name but believe the surname is Sewell) had dancing, smiling and laughing the entire time. Very impressive show and tribute. Of course John and George should have been there too to accept all the praise. Sorry for long OT comment but it was a special nite. . . . Adamluv

DRG and Adamluv. I agree about the Beatles tribute and also thought Imagine would be perfect.....like you say....ah well. This picture is incredible....looks kind of like Adam's style ....wonder if he will respond to it

This is just my opinion; does not reflect whether it's good or not, as art is very subjective. I feel this representation does not reflect the real Adam; at best superficial. The multi-face depiction is exactly what Adam is not! I do understand what the Artist is trying to portray and I respect her viewpoint. Yes he may have different personas but I've followed Adam 5 years and all I feel/see is one 'single-face' true-to-himself person. He may be a sexy rockstar or a doting Godpa or that theatre geek, a gay man, but I feel, inside, he is that down-to-earth, no airs, full of love and compassion, one-face, wholesome person. And so the depiction of Adam with 3 shifty faces does not appeal to me because the real Adam is in fact not that at all. Perhaps a lot more like the Equality Family gentleman, in a sophisticated simple suit, singing his heart out to help someone in need. I want to reiterate, I respect the Artist's interpretation; she definitely has a flair for drawing/painting. :)

All a matter of perspective. No one can fully reveal himself. Everyone has secrets. The secret is under the mask. This is how I see it.
