Adam with Queen didn't start happening at the iHeart radio event. These jocks should well and truly do research before they make sweeping, incorrect statements - GEEZ!!

Off topic, yesterday, I was able to get my second ticket for the Las Vegas show, so I will now see QUEEN and ADAM both nights in Las Vegas. The ticket agent on the phone explained to me that the majority of excellent fantastic tickets to all the really big concerts are sold to companies in a pre, pre-sale, not individuals. Everyone, understand that this is big business taking over the little guys. After the companies buy up all the best tickets in their pre, pre-sale, then they name their own price, and, next, we get to go in and buy in a pre-sale, then general public. I told the ticket agent that this is so unfair, but he told me that I better get into the real world of business. He said that his company makes money only off of the service charge to each ticket buyer. I have never been able to get an excellent ticket to see Adam for a decent price. Well, I will tell you one thing-I am one happy camper to have scored two excellent tickets and my butt will stay in the Hard Rock Hotel, Las Vegas, NV, and I will take the elevator down to see my Rock Gods! Yes, it's very frustrating when the interviewers and on-air people get the facts wrong. So many viewers don't know the facts either, and they listen and believe the wrong info.

And yes the whole ticket-selling system is very screwed up. So unfair to real fans. No one begrudges a ticket company a decent profit, but this is ridiculous. I'm happy that I have tickets at all, but they were very pricey.

Let's not even talk about the special interest and influential people who automatically get best seats automatically and often don't show up to use them. I hope we can stop blaming one another for not getting ideal tickets. Margarita Lady was told the facts, get into the real world of business.

Regarding the tickets stuff, and stepping away from the "Big Business" aspect specifically (because yes, with concerts, I long ago just decided to understand and accept that it is what it is :)) - I have a question... it seems like there will definitely be good seats available, at some venues at least, during the General sale when it opens Friday. I have seen a lot of discourse about this, does this seem true to you folks? There has been a lot of chatter about Pre-Sales almost purposefully offering less than awesome seats because they know the "most eager ones" will just go for it? I definitely fall into that category. I just wanted to get tix and be assured of at least being in the arena, and then I had to get back to a busy real life. I have lousy seats, and while I am appreciative of just being able to attend, I am sort of feeling like I should try for better seats on Friday. I do have to stick to a budget, Real Life absolutely demands that! But when I hunt around, it seems like I may be able to stick to the regular, reasonable ticket prices and still get seats at least marginally better than the ones I grabbed in the Amex Sale on Monday. Sorry to be so long winded... any thoughts??

@7:40 AM For what it's worth, your thinking process is a very common one. You can only do your best at the time you act. Whether you decide to keep looking at tickets or not, just try not to beat yourself up. Your guess is as good as anyone else's.
Oh and Congratulations for having the tickets you have! ;)

About the f***ed up world of ticket sales: It's the real world of supply and demand. I'm just happy as a clam that I scored tickets in the pre-sales for all the shows that I wanted to go to even though my seats at The Forum aren't great. At least I'm in with a ticket at a decent price. There is always the choice of a secondary ticket seller if I wanted to upgrade but it comes with a price tag. I'm okay with that. I wouldn't complain about anything that has to do with demand for Queen and Adam Lambert. Looks like a huge majority of the fans got in somehow, which is fantastic!!!

The ticket agent in 5:41 AM's comment should know his version of the real world of business is a monopoly filled with greed from the artist level down and is not the way ticket sales are done in other countries. Wish there was a way we could change the system.

Everyone ignore all the haters on comment sections & elsewhere. Never respond just point out how much Brian and Roger love Adam Lambert!

9:13, it is not the real world of supply and demand. The ticket sellers have created a false world of supply to manipulate the system to maximize their profits. Bots and rooms of ticket buyers are used to buy up tickets for resale. The whole thing is rigged.

7:40 am, I don't think we will know until Friday when we see what is released for sale. That's part of the problem, there is no transparency so we have no idea when which seats are released or how many are released. The system is awful.

@Anon 2:12 PM
It depends on the type of ticket, the venue etc. some require the person who bought the ticket to be present for them to be used. Those are generally associated with he VIP packages. The Las Vegas venue has wording to that effect on their website for VIP packages. If you have questions about your tickets, the best thing to do is call the ticket office of the specific venue that your tickets are for. You should be fine by the way :))

2:12, call customer service of where you purchased the tickets.

My son-in-law phoned an hour or so ago, called me his pet name for me and asked if I'd like to come to Vegas for the 4th of July. He said "I know you hate it here in the summer, but we'd like to make a special night for you with all the fireworks and all on your favorite holiday next to Christmas and Thanksgiving." I asked him if I am supposed to make 25 pounds of my potato salad for everyone envited. He said yes, of course, we expect your potato salad. We both laughed. Then he said just be sure to make enough for leftovers after we see Queen on the 5th and 6th. I'm jumping up and down, but trying to not scream with delight so I just said, well, if you insist. He told me my daughter would call me in a few minutes with details, we exchanged I love yous, 'byes and hung up. My daughter calls and she can't speak. All I hear is her screaming, crying and laughing and OMG OMG OMG OMG. Finally she tells me the details that her hubby had just told her. Anyhoo, he suprised us both and after listening to everything, we get to see Adam for the 3rd and 4th time in Vegas.

I reminded my daughter that when she was 22 and not sure if he was the right one for her I told her then to keep him close because he loves her mother.
