But Adam with Caleb will be great and I hope Adam puts his humbleness to the side for that night and just show Caleb, boy this is how you should perform. We haven't seen great Idol Finale since Adam's season and Adam with Caleb will be one epic moment again on AI.

Well true adam could perform some other rock song with Caleb. Then david cook performs with Alex. Depends on if queen wants the promo and if idol will pay their expenses.

Or Adam and Caleb can sing a queen song without Queen.

I wonder if Soundgarden would even consider performing on Idol. They have a tour to promote as well.

I'm not sure why Chris Daughtry has been left out of the speculation for the finale.

I don't recall ever trying to decide what Adam should and shouldn't do, but, if he is on the finale I want it to be only fronting for Queen by himself.

Chris Daughtry already performed his single on a results show a few weeks back. He wouldnt be coming back.

If Caleb is paired with Queen and Adam I hopethe do "Fat Bottom Girls". I hope Queen and Caleb don't leave Adam out of the mix.

No, I don't think Adam would perform a Queen song on a tv show without Queen. If they want to promote Queen then Brian and Roger needs to be there. Otherwise do something else

If they duet, then it should be an Adam song from the up coming Sony's "Best of Adam Lambert" new CD that his old label has chosen to release just prior to Queen + Adam Lambert Summer Tour.

It so sad that AI is going down to the drain and it's the fact. I wish all the best for the 3 contestants though...:) It's gonna be exciting to watch Adam and Queen together again for the AI finale eh!!:)

Idol will pay a pretty price for Queenbert. I think Caleb should sing with David Coverdale and do a Whitesnake cover.

Exciting possibilities! I'd rather just see Adam with Queen on the AI Finale but the show is supposed to be about the contestants so I guess Caleb would be included if that's his wish.

We don't know for sure if Caleb's going to be on the Finale yet.

Idol is coming back next year. That's already been confirmed. They announced the audition cities on the air this week. And I'm really glad Adam choose to work on his music rather then take a judging gig.

Adam should duet with Caleb seperately and then perform WWTLF with Queen!!

He will be on the finale whether he in final two or not. Clearly Caleb has stated that Adam Lambert is his favorite Idol of all times. So he most likely is part of his decision to want queen plus Adam Lambert.

Angie may have wanted Jesse J. But after she knew Adam and performed with him she had nothing but praise for him. She was on the news afterwards said they bonded immediately.

I wonder how much in put Adam had , when Kris Allen and him, had when it came to singing with Queen. Back in the '08 season, Idol was still a hot show to be on. I don't know if it was rumor ( heaven forbid there should ever be rumors on this site) but I thought the final decision for Queen to come over here was IF Adam was going to be in the top two.
I think it is presumptuous that Caleb thinks he is good enough to sing with Queen. Adam might have liked to sing with the girl, but that has already been decided.

I hadn't really thought about Queen and Adam, not having the stage to themselves, but as you say it is about the contestants. We don't know if Idol has even approached Queen for this gig. Stranger things have happened, maybe KISS would come back and sing with Caleb.

This would be monumental, but I doubt that it will happen. If Adam does appear in the finale show, that would make watching this season's show worthwhile. If Adam is not going to perform, hopefully he will at least be in the audience.

Just cannot picture him in the audience and not singing. All the hoopla, will be when the last two singers sing their final song before the big announcement of the winner. Adam and Kris sang with Queen, then Adam sang again with KISS. Don't remember who Kris sang with for the second song.

If Adam is merely in the audience, they better be paying him big bucks for showing up. Because I say so!

I would be very surprised if Adam showed up just to be in the audience. I would also be very surprised if Queen was part of the show also. I think , if he is asked, Adam would probably sing with Caleb, and consider it an honor to be asked to be in the finale. He is still in a position where any publicity with a large audience is a good thing for himself.

I would love to see Adam perform solo on Idol. However, if my only choice is with Caleb it would still be great for me! For some reason, Caleb has a bad vibe, and I don't think he's worthy of ADAM! Maybe Caleb will grow out of his immaturity, but Adam's so classy and deserves better IMO......nancdruuu2

10:10 any artist in the position of a large audience is a good thing I don't care how big you are.

In general TV ratings are low because people get their entertainment on internet. Last night AI rating was up above 9 million. No. 2 watched show for the night. I'm sure a lot of people will tune in to watch finale next week. I'm hoping for Adam to be in finale.

Why can't we move on to Billboard already.

I may be sour grapes, but if Adam is not performing, I have no interest in the Finale show I gave up on AI after Adam was on. I did watch this year to see who were the top 4 contenders. NOT impressed. I watched all the shows before Adam, I was a fan at that time. One of my favorite times that I did watch the top 3 was when Adam sang Titanium. I cringed last night when I heard it again. I still play Adam singing that song, his duet was so good.

I really like Caleb Johnson. He is the first idol contestant after Adam's season that I am actually interested in. He seems a lot less versatile than Adam and he doesn't have the sex appeal (yet) but he appears like a genuinely nice guy who has a great(!) rock voice. I would be really, really happy if Caleb performed with Queenbert.

If any of the former Idol contestants are performing solo in this year's finale (P2?! or whoever) Adam deserves to perform solo 10 times more!!! There simply is no one with his talent & charisma!!!

If the only reason Queen did Idol is because of Adam, I'd say Brian and Roger are the ultimate geniuses in foresight and planning for the future.

11:38AM Adam and Angie were amazing Agree! The version last night was totally cringeworthy. The show this yr (other than Adam,David Cook, Chris Daughtry) has been a real snoozer. Caleb has 0 sex appeal and that's what a rocker has to have. Jena is a talented songwriter as is Alex . Wish them luck in that lane.

I think because this year's finalists are so young, they lack the stage presence and appeal of someone like Adam who was older when he auditioned and had a theater background that honed his amazing voice. He was very personable, stylish and appealing in his appearance. You were interested in seeing him perform each week because he was so versatile. He could sing the blazes out of any song he was given. I don't know how much of a music career any of the three finalists will have once Idol is over. Time will tell I guess. I would so want to see Caleb perform with Adam and Queen, but I don't think this will happen. I will probably watch the finale, but I don't really care who wins.

I thought Randy Travis would have a heart attack when he heard Adam sing Ring of Fire in his own special way. Talk about making a song your own. Adam certainly did with this Johnny Cash song. I thought the finale for season 8 with Queen, Adam and Kris was one of the best that Idol has had. I doubt we will see Adam and Queen on next week's finale although it would be great promotion for their summer concert tour. It will be interesting to see with whom Caleb finally does perform. He'd better take care of those vocal cords or his career will be over before it begins.

Caleb deserve his place in the Final. He delivered the goods all season.

Caleb may be the best of a poor bunch. Doesn't make him any where near as good as Adam. When he met Adam, I think that was when he decided he would like to sing with Adam, Adam had high approval from all the people he mentored. Everyone liked him and liked the advice he gave. If Caleb gets to sing with Adam, he will be a very lucky young man, because he will be singing with one of the best singers out there.

Things might have changed since AI8 which allow the finalists to have a say in who they sing with on the finale. I really don't think, given the choice, Adam would have chosen KISS. The interviewer did ask "have they told you who you'd be singing with yet?"

Caleb has a good voice, but not the range or versatility of Adam. Imagine him doing Mad World or If I Can't Have You.
For him to request Queen+Adam seems a bit pushy to me. Humility, Caleb, humility.

Adam sat in a folding chair back lit by blue for Mad World. Very minimalistic. When he stood...the crowd went wild.

Caleb sat in what appeared to be a throne with the mic still in its stand leaning beside him. When he stood...crickets were heard.

To quote 6:10: "Humility, Caleb, humility." I say don't go for the throne when you're not royalty.

I don't like Caleb's voice at all.

That throne reminded me of the FYI video, but a smaller version.

The major thing that really bothered me while watching Idol was constantly showing JLO moving and bouncing around in her seat during every performance. Was that in her contract? It was so distracting. Why not show more of Keith and Harry also? Or just keep the cameras on the performer on stage. KISS is so old news that you think the producers could have found some other group to perform with Caleb. I don't know once Caleb puts out his first album, if he will be a success in the music business today. I think Jena has a better chance of gaining a teen audience for her music and going to her concerts. Time will tell.

WHY do you people watch Idol if you hate it so much? Turn the TV off or change channels. Quit comparing people to Adam! Just judge them on their merits. Geez
