I have to say I prefer Yvonne Elliman's version because I like disco. Similar to Tavares' more Than A Woman and Thelma Houston's Don't leave Me This Way. So good.

and THANK YOU for the shout out many, many threads ago! RL been presenting some major butt kicking lately... Have been so far behind catching up with the news and especially with reading comments. Yours always make me feel good!

Want to quote two sentences from your posts (hope it's okay? wrote them down in my 'notebook'...) I so totally agree and feel the same: "I was just hooked from his very first note and didn't have the slightest idea that it would be this beautiful..." and "at the end of the day it's music and it's joy..."

This thread is a perfect spot for your words. Only yesterday I just had to go and listen to some of my favorite Adam Am Idol performances, just to get energy to go through a difficult meeting later the same day... The pure joy on his beautiful face after these performances, not to even mention his voice and the skill to use it, the charisma and stage presence already back then... Eagerly, yet patiently waiting for QAL vids (no chance of going to their concert, but not complaining, I'm sure there will be excellent vids and a DVD later, I hope!) and his new music!
