#HappyAdamLambertDay via @ILoveAdamAndAri

Update: This was apparently from last year, but still nice to see :))

A look back to May 8, 2009: Adam meeting the crowd at Mount Carmel High School in Rancho Penasquitos, CA (San Diego) on American Idol Homecoming Day AKA "Adam Lambert Day" in San Diego..

And a daring streaker on stage with him .... A feat she reprised at the San Diego Fair in Del Mar, at Adam's concert there in July 2013, much to everyone's surprise..including Adam's!!

**Memories!!!!** And just another reminder that being a fan of Adam Lambert has **NEVAH**... been DULL!!!  Or ever will be!

Ooops!!! Sorry if the screen cap of the TT is from last year.. saw it on twitter today and assumed it was from today :))

Still nice to see tho....

Great news that we trended him! I wonder if there's a way to find out how many times Adam has trended on twitter, both US and world. It's been quite a few times. He's still going strong and climbing that optimistic vine!

The girl repeated it when Adam performed at the San Diego Fair last year. :)

"Adam Lambert's streaker returns at the San Diego Fair"

Those were fun times.

Five years....it's been an exciting, amazing, remarkable journey following Adam Lambert and his career. I think the best is yet to come for this super talented performer.

I wasn't in the fandom then yet, but it's easy to guess the fandom was different those days. Now it's too much the minority aka T's fans ruling the fansites and making the fans to leave.

Just popping in....had to share, had a brief Adam related moment today, at Universal studios in Singapore. was watching one of the stage shows, Monster Rock, and one of the songs they were singing was FYE....I got so excited when I heard the opening bars...jumped up and down in my seat!!!

Yep and beyond the fact that the list is full of old and dead trends, if it had really trended all the way to number 2 many Glamberts would've capped it at various stages on the trending topic list, yet this is the only cap. Obviously from a previous year.

I love the look on Adam's face not he last photo of the girl running to the stage only with her bra on. LOL!

HK fan wow that is so cool to hear what a surprise. I hope you are enjoying your trip.

Your point? Time to pull yourself out of the negative pessimestic vine, and into the fantastic here and now!!

The only thing that appears dead around here, is your tired old negative unproven views!!!

Adam is fabulous, talented and loved by millions of fans; now TREND THAT!!!

So did we trend on May 8 or didn't we?

Trend, trend, trend; Adam Lambert is always trending in the hearts of millions. He is just a trendy guy. Love him much!!

Well all I can say; some folks are always complaining about one thing or another. The old saying goes; "if it not their sister, it's their brother".

People just enjoy this one in a billion voiced talented man and appreciate the wonder of Adam in our life time; or get off the Crazy Train and go Lay Down In Darkness and tell us what you see!!!

The point is that this post is misleading, making people think that it trended this year, which has been proven false. Like Adam said it's not a date to be celebrated every year. May 8th 2009 was the only Adam Lambert Day according to Adam himself so let's just move on and let it go.

It was a great day for Adam and there's no big deal about remembering it as such. IMO....

I'm just happy that he was on Idol in 2009, and here we are, five years later, still enjoying his music, and celebrating his triumphs as they have come his way...

I'm proud to be a fan.... And I'm glad others are too....

Miss this time. Adam could have such a brilliant future!

Adam really spoiled watching IDOL for me. I can't help but compare this season's contestants to his performances. I know it is not fair, but he set the bar so high that no one really has come close to him in vocal talent or in mesmerizing stage presence. For me, it doesn't really matter who wins Idol this time around. I wonder if that person will have any degree of success in the music business since it is such a difficult world to break into and sustain a successful career. Where is Candice Glover from last year? Even if you win, it does not guarantee success today. Look at some of the untalented, uninteresting individuals in music today who sell cds with lyrics that are questionable and often meaningless and crass. It's been five years and I am still an Adam fan. I think he will have longevity in the music/entertainment world when many of today's performers will be gone and forgotten. He may not have sold all the millions of cds we had hoped he would, but he is respected in the business and constantly receives positive and glowing comments from so many in the entertainment world.
