New VIP Concert Packages are being offered as an upgrade for those who have existing VIP seat packages in some Queen + Adam Lambert Concerts. The news is just getting out. Here's a tweet/twitlonger from @mmadamimadamm

Word is that other venues (I've seen one for the Columbia, Maryland venue....) are offering them as well.. But WHOA!!! The PRICE!!! No doubt we'll be hearing more about this very very soon!!

I wonder if any Queen fans are buying VIP packages. Glamberts seem to think it's only them.

Some Glamberts are Queen fans as well. They've been to Queen concerts when Freddie was alive.

I'd love to get one, will have to check out all the venues that are going to have them. I am also a Queen fan and added Adam to my list after ROF on AI. Woots.

$1200 in addition to the $400+ I already spent? Um, no.

AWESOME! Will be fun to see the pics of them. I doubt if the news media would pass on reporting this. Does anyone know if it's ever been done before? I'd do it except I'm a dumpy old lady who shouldn't even leave her house.

2:34 if you bought Ultimate VIP you can upgrade your ticket for onstage ticket. Meaning you pay the difference. 1200 - 400 = 800

2:41 yes it's been done before with current mega artists. I heard it a lot on radio.

I loved Queen long before I "met" Adam.. Biggest win/win EVER!!!

Also being offered in Houston. I received the email. They will refund the original ticket price. I'd prefer to see Adam and Queen from the front, thank you very much...

2:41, common with plays and done at music concerts as well. I just saw it offered in a music festival ad but can't remember who the act was.

I'm sure I'd be more comfortable in the audience.

Not sure i like this onstage option - for the rest of the audience we have to look at THEM? Just give me Adam and Queen onstage. That's all I need.

I generally only see Adam on the stage anyway :)) , so a few more people isn't going to distract me from seeing HIM... Actually, the seats will be set up on the sides, and apparently at the back of the stage somehow.. So no problem seeing Adam and Queen...

Although I know I'll be seeing him from the audience...

Hoping the on stage fans aren't distracting.

Don't think I would like to sit on the stage to watch a concert, seems a bit strange.

I'm sure it's set up in such a way that makes it all work well. They've certainly done this before with shows. I think it would be very cool to be so close to the performers. My ideal seat, though, would be in about the third row. Close but not right up next to the stage. The fans who get these seats will be in for a treat!

I think the ticket buyers for this tour consist of pure Queen fans, pure Adam fans, and a big contingent of people who are fans of both. It's a winning combination any way you look at it.

I'm surprised Brian agrees with all this extra hoopla that seems to be added to the ticket selling grazy business... and those prices!!!

Perhaps they did the same thing back in the 80's when touring!

Wonder if you would get to meet them. You should at those prices.
