My sentiments exactly. For those people who can't get over zfreddie passing and think Queen sgphould just go away, I thinkntheybaewcwelcome to stay home. But I'm wondering if they really love Queen they will be buying tickets. Also have the Kiev tape and it's wonderful how tentative Adam was the first few songs. Then he let go and hit his stride. Brian couldn't stop smiling.

Again, Adam is the whole package. Aside from his looks, vocal chops, stage presence, and charisma he is so well articulated and still humble.

Kiev with Queen and Adam Lambert is the ONLY 2 hour concert I have ever watched in it's entirety, live, on my laptop. My hubby and I were getting ready to leave town on a trip and he asked me when I would be ready to go, and I said.. "When Queen and Adam are finished performing".. So he sat down and joined me.

I could also see that Adam was a bit stunned and slightly overwhelmed and a bit tentative (and certainly nervous, who wouldn't be??!!) at first, to be there, fronting the iconic and legendary Queen in front of a massive crowd of 250,000 people, some of whom may have been thinking "who IS this guy??".

And then Adam hit his stride, the crowd literally went wild, they chanted "Adam, Adam, Adam!!!" and that must have been one of those moments that Adam will have etched in his memory for the rest of his life.. I know I was SOOOOO proud of him and thrilled for him at that moment..

I knew he'd be good, but to be honest he pretty much blew me away, seeing him up there, holding his own with legends... I have a DVD with the Kiev performance as well, and while I don't often have time to watch it, I know it's there, waiting for me to relive again and again..

Now, I'm so excited to see them in person this summer... Can't wait!!!

Queen's music was meant to be heard and performed forever. No reason not to. It's like Adam was born to perform with them. The "fit" is so perfect. Brian and Roger obviously felt that vibe and knew it was right. The naysayers can stay home and pout. They'll miss an epic show. Adam is in his glory, for the whole world to hear. And the fact that his own new music is not too far off is an added bonus. When Adam auditioned for Idol and I called my sister and told her I like the one with the punky hair, It think I picked the right one. My heart is full.
