No date has been mentioned but I would assume it would be shortly before the Summer Tour begins on Sept. 19th. It would be used as a kick-off media event to publicize the tour.

The iHeart Radio Theater in LA was built specifically for that type of event, as well as also providing a space for rehearsal for bands etc.., readying for a tour, according to info on the iHeart Theater website..

As to the actual date of the iHeartRadio concert in LA, the contest ends on Friday, June 13th at midnight ET, so guessing maybe the beginning of the following week, before the Chicago June 19th concert.. But no info specific to the date yet..

I looked at the list of participating stations and it's huge!!!! I didn't count but just scrolled through and it looks like every state is represented.

This is an amazing promo for the tour. I haven't heard a promo yet but I sure hope Adam's name is mentioned right along with Queen ( as it should be) each and every time. Great publicity for Adam:))))). Get your fingers ready Glamberts for all the texting we're gonna be doing!

Just answered my own question. The promo is called, "The Queen and Adam Lambert Experience" so each and every time, at the designated hours of play, at all the 100 stations nationally, Adam's name will be heard! A dream come true and all on Clear Channel stations:)))))

These are all classic rock stations so not the same stations who would play Adams new music

JAK here...to hang out with Queenbert would be Royal Treatment...indeed! (I borrowed that 'indeed' from @ Canadian, our faithful fan neighbor to the north). ;-)

And I would love a replica of The Red Special....not for me....all I can play on a guitar is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star....but it would be a treat for my son in law who knows what to do with one!

I can tell you this: The "Biggest Hits" station I posted the picture from on this thread, the station from Seattle, did an on air interview with Adam immediately after his interview with the Seattle KISS iHeart station. It was totally impromptu and they did a better job. They LOVED Adam on KJR in Seattle. They may not be Adam's target radio station for his new music, but people who listen to the station aren't all "oldies" and even those who are can be intrigued enough to check out Adam's previous albums and his new music when it comes out. And they may decide to go to the QueenBert concerts and discover him there.

I was referring to Adam's promo tour for a Trespassing in March 2012 in my comment at 9:21 AM by the way..

Queen is a nice summer job for adam. I don't really think it helps him in any way putting out new music. In fact since he is tied up with them for the next four months I'd say it rules out any new music this year. Which is fine.

Negative planters will be out in full force , learn to ignore and enjoy folks!!!

Thanks for taking the time to look all this up and post it Glitzylady. I have been hearing pieces and parts of things on my oldie station I listen to at home and they play at my work place and some places I eat at. Finally I know.

Well drat drat and double drat!!!... I was hoping for a local station so I could get my very lucky son in to help me....but of course no such luck in good old Joplin... I've already got Iheart on line so guess that gonna be the way I go .... The good news is I'm off work after knee surgery so I can listen a lot but the bad news is my knee isn't getting any better fast.... I'd hate have to go on a stretcher ...
