Well, Finally. So that is what he has been doing lately. Being that his mom is a home decorator, she will have it all ship shape for him to come home to in September. He might see it when he is performing at the Forum.

Now he has to mow the lawn and replace the innards of the toilet when it breaks. I don't know Adam, renters don't have to do that kind of thing.

He is definitely going to need a gardener and a housekeeper. He can't keep a place like that up all by himself. When Sauli gets back from Finland and doing his cooking contest show, Adam could hire him to be his chef. LOL

I'm disappointed there's no pic of the house.

I thought I read that he had arrived in London. Which is why this is announced while he was gone. He won't be deluged with the paps, about the house.

Nice to know he's got a place of his own, something he can earn equity from and sell if he likes. Sounds like he's settling in to a real home, near his friends and family and of course the social world that he loves. I'm a little doubtful that we'll see pics. There would be people trying to find that place! Glad he's in London safe and sound and ready to rehearse. (Still imagining those incredible outfits he'll be wearing onstage!)

Adam house sounds fabulous; so happy for him! Important celebrities that the reporters feel people are interested in, are always listed in the Los Angeles Times when they buy or sell a new home. The Los Angeles Times has always seemed interested in Adam Lambert.

Being that Adam is a celebrity of some renown, and is becoming more so every day, his house will no doubt be discovered. I also have no doubt in my mind that he will have security fences, gates, 24 hour security cameras, and monitoring, just like the house he was renting in the Hollywood Hills did. His very smart and security conscious mom made sure of that.. (Adam had mentioned that as I recall) . And as his fame and wealth increase, so does his need for security and the feeling of being safe in his own home...The price of fame and success....

But on the plus side, it must feel amazing to him to finally own a home of his own, to decorate as he wishes, with the added feeling of financial security and permanence that it gives..

Glad for Adam, a big house can be very lonely. He seams to have lots of friends and family. But they are not always there. Hope all the fame and portion doesn't change Adam. I want his to stay down to earth. Like a real happy person.

YAY for Adam! I'm soooo happy for him:))))) the house sounds fantastic.It's so lush in the Hollywood Hills and secluded. I hope he can maintain his privacy and really enjoy his home when he is home! He loves to entertain and from the sound of it, this home is just right for that....even has a screening room..Wow!

Even though Adam tries hard to keep his private life private; just like any celebrity, sometimes things leak out, and sometimes those things are actually true. This seems to be, since it is from several sources to the L.A. Times & is about property. Anything else about his private life; I always, and I do mean always, take it with a grain of salt unless it is verified by the man himself!!

I'm happy for Adam. It must be comforting for him to know he's settled and able to relax once he's back in L. A. The place seems to be charming, romantic, and suited for entertaining as well. Perfect!

If Adam signed the escrow papers on the 25th, as someone commented, the ink must not have been dry, before he caught his flight for UK.

It sounds big, but not overly so.
3 beds 4 baths, is pretty average size, just right for Adam. Sounds nice and comfortable. One bedroom will most likely be for all his costumes. Wonder if he will still hike Runyon Canyon.

I am so happy for Adam! He really deserves to have a beautiful place of his own and to share with family and friends.

JAK here.....I hope Adam will have as much fun pulling together his first home as I did. I was 23 and in my "Chinese phase"..... I bought old interesting chests and cabinets and trunks and screens from Salvation Army store and lacquered everything shiny black or red, then 'aged' it. Then painted ferocious dragons or serene koi ponds and water fowl.....lots of brocades and silks and floor pillows!

My mom called it my 'Opium Den Decor".... We were poor but ecstatically happy. I've been thru 20 decors since then.

I hope Adam will have a happy home to retreat to when he needs alone time. :-)

By Hollywood standards, this home doesn't seem overly luxurious, just above average nice. It's doesn't sound like a huge mansion type of thing, but is just right for one guy and his guests. Maybe we'll get a glimpse of the inside or something someday.

there is a pic of home on Adamtopia..it is gorgeous...I wonder if he has a recording label???? or if he will release his album on his own dime??? no one seems to have the answer to this?? my guess is that the new music will be released shortly after the tour ends..and hopefully, will be successful and afford him the opportunity to tour again..gee, I have so many questions that I suppose will be answered in time..but, I mean..wouldn't you just LOVE to be invited to his home and just kick back with him???? IF ONLY!!!!

There are plenty of pictures of all the rooms on other sites already. Huge kitchen. Nice baths. Personally i liked the rented house he lived in with sauli better because it had the infinity pool and great views but whatever. It's about a mile away from the condo and closer to Runyon canyon.

This sounds like a beautiful home just right for Adam. The home he rented might even be for sale now; who knows, it might have been option to buy. The point is; Adam purchased the home he wanted with the things that he wanted in it; not to please anyone else. We all have different tastes. Pictures usually never do a home justice. There is nothing like seeing it in person.

So as long as Adam is happy and he is in a home that he loves; no one elses opinion is that important. Also, I am sure that Adam thinks the views and all the things that go with this house is perfect for him. The home sounds absolutely beautiful and just right for Adam. Congratulations to Adam, he must be thrilled. I know that I am very, very thrilled for him!!!

This is Adam home not a rented home. His first purchased home. He has great taste and I am sure it is very, very lovely. Adam purchased it for himself not any passed loves. It's for his own taste he paying for it.
The poster right many pictures do not do justice to the home. Sure Adam still has some decorating to gradually do to get his place just as he wants it. That will take time he quite busy right now. I am just so happy for him. Sure this house had more things in it he enjoyed. Screening room, gym, wine room so on. The spa outside may have been more what he would use more and enjoy more and relax in by himself and with guest. What he himself liked better. Again thrilled for him. Sounds like it suits his taste well.

It's his own house he can add any improvements he wants later. Outside and inside. That's what so nice about owning your own home.

Well, he always wanted to be secure financially and not to have to worry about that aspect of his life. Now his achieved it.

Congratulations to Adam for buying his first house. It shows he must be financially secure to make such a large investment in a home, but it was something he really wanted after living in small apts. and a rented condo. Since he will be on tour most of the summer, he probably won't be able to move in officially until the fall some time. I am sure pictures have already been seen of this house and maybe we will get a glimpse of it without being too intrusive about it. So happy for him.

Lots of people buy houses, make millions of dollars and then go broke. Plenty of sports figures, plenty of former American idols too. Property taxes and insurance rates in los angeles are sky high. I hope he has a plan to make money after the queen tour that doesn't hinge on his original music.

Good point 7:04 but that house was only on the market for 7 days before Adam bought it so he could easily resell it and get his money back.

his house is beyond beautiful..like he is...I don't think anyone has to worry about him keeping this house as I believe Adam has major opportunities ahead of him..he has now fulfilled two of his most ardent dreams - touring with, and maybe writing and recording with, Queen..and owning his own home..he will earn millions with this tour..all he has to do is keep grounded, and like Madonna told him..keep his eyes on the prize..
