Yea Yahoo got it right for #1 AI but would have picked a slightly different grouping; definitely Adam, AI Superstar; he shook AI to the core like a rumbling earthquake. He rumbles with no fumbles, always on pitch; even when told people would throw their tv out the window. He proved they would not, by actually performing his supposedly strange version of country music, Ring of Fire in Nashville, with standing ovation. lwl!

I also wondered who was the author but I'm certainly not going to argue that Adam was Number 1 on their list of 50 contestants to grace the stage of AI. A World Class Superstar is definitely the right title for Adam !

I do not understand why it is necessary to constantly compare Adam's voice with other singers Idol. I hope that Adam will retain this status for a long time, or today I like the new voice of Caleb. I think that the situation may change ....

It's a nice tribute to Adam and I agree with many of the choices. However, that 'slip' of the finger gave me the giggles....it's not that I don't make mistakes a lot. I know i do. My grammar skills have eroded since I no longer care...but 'bread' instead of bred gave me a momentary vision of Adam, trapped between 2 pieces of bread, covered in lettuce, pickles and mayo screaming for help.

I'm still «badly» alive but totally in love with sweet Adam and all of you, my friends (me, Icon and AMALIA, a ex-homeless female cat that Icon brought home from the streets). I have been VERY ILL for over two years, more and more days at «hellsptal». Very poor, with no job or computer, even internet at home. I'm comment from the Red Cross, that helps me a lot with clothing and medication. I'll try to come back little by little. Kisses to EVERYBODY!

@Fan4fun....JAK here....I can't tell you how happy I am to know that you are still alive and kicking in the Azores. Both you and Icon have been in my prayers.

I know how ill you were after your surgery and when we no longer heard from you I feared the worst.

You were such a bright spot on this site...you and Icon had such adventures! I am sorry to hear of your misfortunes.

If there is any way you can afford internet service, I will send you an iPad. I love mine and much prefer it to my computor.
Would the Red Cross office be willing to accept a package for you? Would they be willing to let you give me their address?

My favorite idol contestants based on what I have seen were david cook (best all around), fantasia (best single performance with summertime), and adam. That is just on the show not afterwards.

My fave American Idol contestants were/are ADAM, Kelly & Pia.

Queen tour is four dates after Japan ending sept 1. Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane.

Story time...To cheer Fan4fun up a bit.

Adam was on his way home, running an errand for his Mom. He had a fresh scrumptious loaf of bread tugged under his arm. Suddenly, a nice sexy guy caught his attention as he was running to catch a bus, at a remote bus-stop. Torn between waiting for the guy and boarding the bus, Adam ran towards the bus-stop; at the same time, kept looking back at the cute guy. As he was running and looking, his loaf of bread fell off from under his arm onto the dusty road. Oh no! Mom would be hopping mad because she needed the bread to make some fanciful sandwiches for tea. Adam stopped to pick it up, luckily it was well wrapped and no dirt got onto it. By this time, the bus had already sped away. Poor Adam, he sat at the bus-stop and it would take another half hour for the next bus to ply this remote dusty road. He sat on the bench at the bus-stop and started singing to calm his nerves...Lay me down in darkness...Tell me what you see...Show me I'm the one...Tell me I'm the one...That you need... At this moment, he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned and a pair of blue eyes looked down at him; good golly, the cute guy he was ogling and who had caused his loaf of bread to drop, was smiling down on him with a twinkle in his eyes. Adam felt a sudden tingling sensation down his spine. They introduced themselves; the cute guy's name was Sauli. lwl!
Sauli saw everything from the dropping of the bread to missing the bus. He asked Adam if he needed a lift, as his car was just right round the corner. Adam was so relieved. Sauli drove Adam home and his Mom was so happy with the fresh loaf of bread; no inkling at all what happened. As for Sauli and Adam, they had arranged a date for the weekend. lwl!

My favorite Idol contestant is Adam. He is the only one I ever voted for during the years I have actually watched the show. I love the phrase "world class superstar"; that's exactly what Adam is. I think after the summer concert tour with Queen, he will become an even bigger supestar esp. here at home. Idol has not been the same since season 8 with Adam.

@Fan4Fun I wish you getting better and getting your health back with prayers and loving thoughts from Finland.

So glad our Beautiful Superstar is moving on with his career; and his life in general. So many wonderful opportunities and people is waiting for him all over the world.

To know of this wonderful man with all of his realness is to love him. He is quite the charmer without even trying, and so darn cute, humble and kind; and his One in a million voice is sweet music to my ears! Adam Lambert just make me happy!!!

Icon: I remember 3 years ago, Moma fainted on the floor. I couldn't do anything and so rushed next door to our neighbour's house. I meowed and meowed frantically. Our neighbour who often takes care of me, knew something was wrong. She rushed into our house and goodness gracious, Moma was lying on the floor unconscious. Straight away she called 911 and Moma was whisked to hellspital. Moma had to remain in hellspital for tests as she needed an operation. Much later, when Moma returned from hellspital, she was informed how I had saved her life literally by rushing next door to get help. Moma hugged and kissed me like never before. And that night, I had a special sardines dinner.
Amalia: Wow, you are a hero!
Icon: Yes, Moma always tells everyone I'm a hero. Meeooww... Especially a lady by the name, Lam-my. Moma wrote a short story about asking Lam-my to pull my tail, because I wouldn't let go of Uncle Adam at the airport. But Lam-my didn't know what to do; she pulled and pulled but I was still clinging onto Uncle Adam. Finally, Moma gently stroked me and promised she would take me to see Uncle Adam later on and then I let go, blowing kisses at Uncle Adam.
Amalia: You can be quite stubborn huh...a stubborn hero! No wonder I love you so much...meeooww...

Fan4fun, So glad to hear from you. So often I would mention you when you became so sick and always hoped for the beat for you and Icon. Now you have another companion in Amalie to love you, along with Icon. We've missed you so much & your great sense of humour and stories. I'm so sorry that life has been so hard & hope that your health and circumstances will get better. Thanks to the Red Cross for their care and for you being able to let us know what's happened.
