Are you a Glambert who’d DIE to meet their flamboyant fave star in The Big Apple?
Think glamster Adam Lambert and a US cell phone company make a good mix?Obviously the folks at AT&T do!That’s because the American phone company has signed up Adam to be their spokesman, and launched a contest in which 5 fortunate Glamberts will get to meet their American idol in New York City!
“Live Proud” is the theme of the competition AT&T is sponsoring. Fans of Adam are encouraged to “create an inspirational Live Proud meme” for the contest, and send it in to the company.Here’s how the contest was announced, on Facebook:
“Five winners will receive a round-trip flight to New York, where they will be given the ultimate VIP experience: chauffeur service, a hotel suite for 2 nights, and a private meet-and-greet with Adam at an exclusive Live Proud private event…
“One of these five will receive the Grand Prize, and will be granted one-on-one time with Adam during his event rehearsal.”
Sound like a Grand Prize to absolutely DIE FOR???
Speaking of “living proud,” here’s what Adam had to say recently, when asked about being a role model for the gay community:
“[It’s hard because] you can’t please everybody. And everybody wants you to be a different thing for a different group…
“At the end of the day,” he said, “I’m just a guy that wanted to sing and dress up in crazy clothes.”
Then Adam concluded by saying: “It was hard for me to accept that, like it or not, I was going to be somebody that they looked at as a figure that was representing the gay community, to the rest of the public.”
