Yea Adam's parents really had a lot to do with who and what Adam is now...right from the get-go; all the baby pictures. For guiding Adam along the musical path, probably his Mom, a wee bit more focused by starting him off at the impressionable age of ten. Also, according to Adam, he was influenced a lot by his Dad's 70's collection of records/music. Still at the very bottom of it all, it's genes/talents...though nature and nurture have to overlap each other, working hand in hand...one may not suffice without the other.
Hey M.....I googled mojito lol! Yea that is a favourite drink of mine, anything minty. Cheers! See I've gone to so many QueenBerts already with those who remember me at the concerts. lwl! Hey Sauli was with Adam at the Forum...mmm lwl!
I just watched The Show Must Go On...Adam is fierce to the max! Those human strings of his are taut to the limit, goodness gracious. Also, I feel Brian and Roger are very good backup singers; they sing softly to give Adam's voice reinforcement! to hit those daredevil notes so they sound rounder and fuller. Brian and Roger are literally the wind under Adam's wings to push him up to hit those terribly difficult notes. Also, their instrumentation is very sensitive to Adam's singing. Well Adam has found 2 sifu! and that is a lot...finding one is difficult enough.
All the statements are correct, wonderful caring parents make all the difference in the world; fortunately, Adam Lambert did and still do have a wonderful family. But, when all is said and done; Adam still had to go thru the hard struggles in this great big old world. His future could have gone either way; good bad or ugly. But, Adam himself had to make the hard choices once he left the fold. It took his strength and great talents to make it to where he is today; have a great family foundation gave him a wonderful boost.
But, I believe that wonderful spirit would have eventually shined under even the harshest upbringing. It would just have taken a hell of a lot longer; but, knowing Adam Lambert; he would have made it some how!
If you haven't already read Jason Bracalin's review from Las Vegas Review & Journal. This is just one sentence that stuck out like a sore thumb: No one can replace Freddie Mercury, but Lambert has the stones to carry himself like it should have been his gig all along. I loved the insight of what this man wrote, and how right he is. Admin will probably bring over the whole article I hope, cuz I don't know how.

Adam's parents are wonderful and his no. 1 supporters. :-)
Adam is the product of his parents genes and rearing.
I congratulate Eber and Leila for all the wonderful things they have done.
Adam's speaking voice is so soothing to the ears, it's melodious.
10:42, give Adam some credit for the person he is.

12:20 what is your problem? Giving Adam his dues for the great person he turned out to be is positive.
Your brickbat comment is the rudest and most negative thing on this thread.

Thank you Anne Marie. Hopefully someone brings it over so we can read the entire review.
Where is the LA Times???
Jason B's review is very good and very insightful in many ways. I wonder if the LA Times will have a review?
You better hope they don't based on the tweets from their music critic.

Every time I think this Queen show can't get worse, it gets worse.
Like way, way worse.
