hoping more dates get added!

Congrats to New Zealand for their date with Adam.

Oh Dear.
Ive just spent (well the husband has) $2000NZ dollars for my daughter and I to fly to Melbourne. While I am happy for NZ Fans to get a chance to see QAL its a mixed blessing for me. It is still quite a long way for people in Wellington or the South Island to come.
PS Wont be telling the hubby will see how long it takes him to find out.
Bugger I wont be doing this again it happened to me with the GNT as well. So if there is a next time I will wait to see if he comes to NZ and if not I will just have to miss out.
Sorry to sound whingey but feeling a bit upset.

@Jadam, I can see why you'd be bummed out. Don't take it personally. It's in the hands of powers well out of our or the bands reach, unfortunately. Please do enjoy your trip to Melbourne.

Hey Admin -- where is the separate story that would be titled something like "Queen Announces New Date in New Zealand" with press release or link to their website or...? How did you find out about this? The updating of the itin would be secondary to that big news, no? :)

The Breeze, a reputable website in New Zealand broke the story but then deleted it. Evidently they jumped the gun on the announcement. But cats out of the bag now.

During that rush of getting tickets, I also saw one source from Singapore reported about QAL concert. So @Lam-my you might get lucky to see QAL. Get your leopard outfit ready.

I hope Adam insured his voice for $1,000,000,000! Didn't they say that his voice one on the billion?

Jadam, can you get a refund on your airfare or use another time and resell you tickets? I'm sure you have already thought of this. I hate when that happens. Best of luck to you. Maybe do both?

Yep, that's happened to us before too. It's tough when you have to travel MAJOR miles with flights, hotels and transfers (almost 2,000from NZ to OZ). I remember booking Sacramento when Vegas was then announced and I'm in Oz which was for starters 9,215 miles) The things we do to see ADAM!

Nothing official announced on the Arena site yet.

No nothing official yet, but looks pretty genuine. The tweet went out then was deleted.
Just to clarify the $2000 we spent was 2of us airfares return, accomodation concert tickets, we still need spending money.
Still my daughter will love the break, she has 3 little boys and doesn't have much time to herself and Queen was her era so she is happy.
I wont be pushing to go in NZ, we only get back on 1st September.

@9:50 PM I'm kinda with you. Adam can do all the Queenbert he wants, but i want him to slip a cd or 2 of his own new music onto the shelves of my local record store. He doesn't have to promote them, just make new music available. It sounds like he has plenty laying around, do we have to wait for him to die for someone to make it all available.

I think that many of us agree that this Queenbert concert tour is something spectacular for Adam and all the fans, but I would like some new music from him. I know it will come when Adam is ready to release that third album. I am interested in the focus of the album, the kind of songs it will contain. Will his time spent with Queen have any influence on the music, since he seems to have recorded some of the songs already. I know that patience is a virtue so I will have to wait for new music, but in the meantime I can enjoy all the vids and pics from this summer concert tour.

I was in Dick Smith with my family, and while my brother and parents were looking at headphone, I was on this blog. When I saw the article I screamed and almost burst into tears of joy and everyone in the shop looked at me like I was insane!!! I am so excited even if it is not official yet

South Americans are crying out a lot for Queen + Adam to do a concert there so I hope it happens for them .... maybe after NZ.
