Adam Lambert: Guest Judge and Absolute Pumpkin!!

To quote those ubiquitous Instagram girls, “Gahh! I literally can’t even right now!” And no, this isn’t even about a Pumpkin Spice Latte, you guys. It’s about Adam Lambert being an absolute pumpkin in a spiced latte-toned suit at the NYC American Idol auditions yesterday.

Lambert–who recently wrapped a worldwide tour with legendary rock band, Queen–is filling in for Keith Urban who is taking time to be with his family following the passing of wife, Nicole Kidman’s father. So Adam stepped seamlessly into the role alongside Harry Connick Jr. and Jennifer Lopez. (And yet another full-circle moment for the Season 8 alum!)
Season 14 hopefuls gave Adam a warm welcome as he gave them a quick pep talk, telling them to have fun. The new season of American Idol of course won’t get underway until January, so we’ll have to wait several months before we see the former Glee guest star once again on prime time!
In the meantime, it seems he and J.Lo hit it off! Jennifer followed him on Twitter and they had a heart-to-heart! Awwww!
