Adam Lambert teases new album: 'I'm signed to another label and have an amazing producer'
Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert is hard at work on a brand new studio album and has revealed that he recently signed to a new label and is truly excited about the team he has involved with this project.During a new interview with On Air with Ryan Seacrest, the 'Trespassing' hitmaker opened up about his highly anticipated new album and teased a few details about what he has been working on, although he was cautious not to give too much away:
“I’m not going to say too much because I try to keep things under wraps. I’m working on this album, I’m really excited about it. I got signed to another label, which I’m not going to reveal right now, but it’s a really good deal and it’s a good project. I’m working with an amazing executive producer. Again, I can’t say too much, but it’s going to be really good.”
Referring to his current inspiration, Lambert went onto add that he's listening to as much music as possible because he wants to know what's popular and what kind of songs are being released at the moment:
"I listen to everything. I think it’s my responsibility. “You got to hear what’s going on and what people are doing. And I think genre is kind of becoming this like — I don’t think it matters anymore. You can’t sit there and go, ‘You’re pop, you’re rock, you’re dance.’ I think it’s all blending and I think that’s what’s magic.”

Best words we've heard from Adam lately: a new label, and great executive producer, too! Hope this all points to really great promotion and success for A3. This short little judging job is really getting him LOTS of buzz. I think the AI peeps know he's a special deal.

The American Idol gig, is perfectly timed.
Fantastic news today regarding album #3!!! It feels very re-assuring to hear from Adam that there is a new label as well as an executive producer. (Ripped pants from a night out appearance seem to inspire more comments though. LOL.)
Adam doesn't seem quite sure which way to go with his music. He said he is listening to all kinds of music, to see what people want. He just needs to be himself, most of the music out there is pure crap. What sells for one person may not work for another.
