I am thrilled that the demand for performances has made this extension tour possible and hope it's another boost for his career......however, I am experiencing just a tiny bit of "poor me"......this has several of my favorite cities listed.

I really wish I could still travel, I'm going to crawl back in bed and feel sorry for myself for an hour or so. :-(

Adam and his label, must have agreed to get going on this tour as soon as possible, regardless of his album. I think Queen wanted this very much, Adam has boosted their name almost as much as when Freddie was performing. Brian did say that he doubted they would be able to perform any more than a maybe 5 more years. They are in top form now, and so is Adam. I am so happy for them and all the people who are now able to take in the concert, in their own country.

Queen has had amazing longevity and success for decades. But in recent years, they haven't had the tour success they once had, esp. in the U.S. where they were never as big as they were in Europe. And the Paul Rodgers years were not their most successful, either.

BUT NOW, with the amazing Adam Lambert, they are rejuvenated into a glory they probably ever though would come again. It's mutually beneficial. Queen found the perfect frontman to allow them to finish their career on a huge high level. They don't have to worry about just fading away on a low note. And Adam is getting world-wide exposure full of high praise. A match made in heaven, all around.
