No changes have been made in the posting process to my knowledge....

Hi glitzylady, she's referring to the captcha "Please prove you're not a robot" box that now unavoidably appears when a person (who is even already signed in) goes to post a comment on these threads. They started about two days ago. I also noticed that it only shows up on my desktop, not my iPhone.
Just giving you the info :)

I have never seen a captcha box on this site. Are others getting them?

I've seen that mentioned here before and I'm puzzled because I've never seen it here personally.. And I check in here frequently :)))) As you might imagine...

I'll contact the blog Owner/Administrator and see if she has any clue as to why that's happening.. It's probably a Google Blogger glitch of some kind and was not intentionally put on the blog sign-in to make it any harder to access..

Possible reasons for seeing the "captcha" box for signing in to comment:

1. You signed out of Google Blogger after viewing and/or commenting here on 24/7 the last time..

2. You were for some completely unknown reason signed out involuntarily.. (this happened to one of the Admin helpers this week: no explanation so far..just strange..)..

3. It's very likely that the Administrator/Blog Owner has opted to use the "captcha/word verification security option" as a SPAM prevention device on the blog... We were getting a certain amount of spam (basically automated junk posts) in the comments sections but none have shown up lately... She hasn't gotten back to me yet about that, but that's my assumption and best guess about the captcha/word verification"robot box" that has been added to the sign in process...

Yes, I asked the question a couple of days ago when I wanted to comment and lo and behold...the Captcha box. So it happens to me each and every time I want to comment which kind of puts me off from wanting to go the extra step to comment....but thanks Glitzylady for the info...look forward to the answer you get from the Admin/Owner.

I got the robot box for the first time this evening....I just ignored it and published as usual.

The Blog Owner/Administrator said she had not activated the "robot box" but would double check, and be sure it is turned off...

So it's a mystery as to why it's been popping up..

She's thinking it's a glitch of some sort, an irritating one!!! ...

I've just got the robot box for the first time today. very annoying.

How do you ignore it JAK....it won't let me post a comment without filling it in even though I am signed in....

Just a question: are you getting it each time you try to comment now, or just the one time? I did a little research about it, and the info from Google Blogger says the program may randomly throw that word recognition box out if it detects possible problems with "anonymous" comments, none of which apply here. So sounds like a "glitch" of a some sort.

Let us know if this continues and the blog owner will investigate further.
