I think you couldn't drag me to this even if I was offered a spot next to Adam haha. But...art is subjective, so to each his own.

Adam does love a red carpet.
Wonder if he will feel obligated to buy something, after giving him a VIP status.

I doubt if Adam will feel obligated to buy anything he seems very particular about the things he docorates with, also, he is invited to so many things, he would not have room if he always felt obligated to buy something. This is just my opinion, but, who knows?

Sometimes artists are even paid to come to these events, not saying that is the case here, because Adam may be an admirer of his works. But, when Adam attends these events it is great advertisement for them. They love it.

I was just wondering if you were aware of how much shade you throw Adams way? I know you are a fan, but some of your posts are a bit hostel. I don't understand. Maybe your not aware of it. I don't know, but sometimes it's a little weird.

Remember reading another post about this, but didn't check out his work 'til now. Don't understand why some people were so off-put by it... He's just experimenting with mixing visual elements of different binary genders together. I can totally understand why its not some people's cup of tea, 'cuz it is weird by mainstream standards--But I'm talking about some of those really strong reactions. I don't see why they would be that strong over something that seems simple... Doesn't seem like he's pushing any sort of agenda, just purely experimenting for the sake of art. I've seen a lot more pushy statements in the visual arts, so this doesn't bother me so much. I've been in fine art for a long time though, so maybe I'm just used to it. Can distance myself from taking it too personally, or just observe without going digging deeper than need be... His work actually kinda interests me in an unusual way. Can see why Adam would be interested. He likes things that twist the typical just for the sake of seeing what happens...
Oh, and I'm just thinking out loud, and wondering, haha. That's what art is supposed to do, to me at least. :) You can ignore me, I know this is old news, haha.

9:10 PM, yeah, it's just gender bending which isn't uncommon and isn't "scandalous" in my opinion. I didn't get the overly negative reaction either. Shrug.

Laura and Anon 10.10 I have thought the same thing for a while now about Anne-marries comments. Thought maybe it was just me so didn't like to say anything, but I know what you mean.

Anne Marie likes to judge Adam. I think she is just a Sauli fan. She always glorified what Sauli does. Sometimes it is funny, when Sauli has religious cross in the magazine its' OK but poor Blond's get all the hate and ofcourse Adam get it in the full hate about clubbing, friends, clothing...
She likes her gay sterile, clean and prudish.

I am Anne Marie, what are you talking about. I wrote an apology for things I said about the Blonds issue. Maybe you didn't see it. I mentioned we must love one another, I went down the wrong path, and didn't behave in a loving way.
I apologize again if I hurt anyone feelings. I will keep my comments short. I am a Sauli fan and an Adam fan. I have felt that the anons on here have been picking on everything I say, and hiding behind the anon name. I don't know why my name is being , is being used behind my back now. I just got to this site this morning, and find out you are all talking about me.

About the blonds issue there were several comments on here about the tacky use of the Virgin Mary picture. I wasn't the only one. If you re-read the Blonds picture that Adam "liked" you will find my full apology..

I read your thoughtful apology on a previous thread, which makes me more inclined to think you are not quite aware of how your comments come across.
As an example just in this thread at 3:15 you wrote, "Adam does love a red carpet" reads "Adam is a fame whore".

I like to see you commenting here ... I'm just trying to understand if you mean some comments the way they are written. Do you think Adam is a shady fame whore? If so, you've written exactly what you think. If not, maybe review some of your posts to see how they may be interpreted.

I understand where Laura is coming from.... And I don't believe she means any ill intent.
Yet, I also happen to agree Anon 9:28 here. I suppose that I read Anne Marie's posts differently... I see the humor... Tongue in cheek.... frankness.... And earnest dedication toward Adam that her posts have demonstrated for a long long time. I'm glad she's here, and if I were Adam I'd be happy she was my fan! :))
