The Daily Mirror "Queen legend Brian May's guitar gets £10k VIP treatment on flight to Hollywood"
The Daily Mail "Queen guitarist Brian May 'paid £10,000 to buy first class seat for his guitar' after fearing it would be damaged in the plane's hold during a trip to LA"
NOTE ***The Daily Mail ALSO reported THIS regarding the Daily Mirror story about Dr.Brian May buying a seat for his prized Red Special guitar:
"A representative for Brian May denied that the star had paid to have his guitar flown in first class, saying: 'Brian did not take his Red Special (or any guitar) to Los Angeles for the Classic Rock Awards.'"
HOWEVER!!!! THIS is the part (below) of both articles we would like to quote here!!!
"Queen, who recently recruited American Idol winner Adam Lambert to replace the late Freddie Mercury after the singer’s death from an Aids-related illness in November 1991, won Band of the Year at the awards on Tuesday."
"After picking up the award, May said that having Lambert, 32, performing with them had given them a new lease of life. The guitarist said:

Absolutely LOVE these interviews and quotes from Brian! Always giving Adam credit where credit is due! No "airs" at all from legend Brian May. Adam has brought Queen back to the top of the pyramid! So happy for them all. :)

I guess it really is true, when I read where someone said, "to know Adam, is to love him". I don't even know him personally, but I love his beautiful spiritual essence!
