‘American Idol’ Season 14 Loses Another Veteran! Should Adam Lambert Become In-House Mentor When Randy Jackson Leaves?

Adam Lambert part:

In past seasons, the show's alum, Chris Daughtry, David Cook, and Adam Lambert, helped mentor newer contestants. Lambert, in particular, will be coming back as a guest judge for the upcoming season's New York auditions as a sub for Keith Urban.
According to past reports, Lambert was also offered to become a judge last season, but ended up as a guest advisor instead. Harry Connick, Jr. eventually joined Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban on the table.
Seeing as this is the case, could Fox offer Lambert the in-house mentor position?
Although this would be a dream for Lambert's fans, the Grammy nominee still has to complete his obligations with a certain legendary rock group. Not to mention his own album that he's currently working on.
His collaboration tour with Queen has been positively reviewed by critics and garnered a high demand for tickets. Organizers had to add several more shows to accommodate the fans for the UK tour.
Despite his busy schedule, do you want Adam Lambert to become a permanent fixture in the show? What else do you think will change now that Randy Jackson will not be joining 'American Idol' season 14?

No, if remotely interferes with he has going on in his REAL IMPORTANT life. They had their chances; should have grabbed him when they could have~! Of course it is not up to me. He will know what to do!

The mentor person doesn't appear all every episode, right? Maybe more towards the end of the season when there are fewer contestants?

NO, I think it is an insult to Adam for them to even think about it now.
Just because he has been raised up in the public eye, now that he is touring with Queen. They should have asked him to be a judge, which actually he might not have taken any way, now that he is touring with Queen, plus getting out his new album.

So many are so hung up on Idol.
Time to let go, unless you want him to be called Am Idol S8 runner up like forevah! He's been there more than any other contestant, given back so much... Time for intense forward motion on his own path!

If it weren't for Adam being a contestant on American Idol, we may never have known about him so go for it, Adam if that's what you'd like to do. It's his life, not ours.

Adam has always given credit to AI for helping him to find his audience. I think it would be great if Adam continues to be on Idol and in an important role like mentor.

Hopefully they would give Adam and his mentoring a little screen time and even more people would see how kind, funny, talented and experienced he is and what great advice he gives.
