Eber is still the tallest, even if Adam wears lifts in his shoes.
I didn't realize how short Leila is. Adam's family have reason to still be extremely proud of Adam.
They gave him the opportunity to get the training to full fill his dreams, and I suspect there will be a lot more honors coming his way.
I love Eber's tweet, "it wasn't even on the short list, to win this honor"
Funny thing, Adam couldn't have won this without Queen, and Queen couldn't have won this without Adam.

I have mixed emotions about Adam's new album, we have seen him for some months now singing with Queen, and how glorious it has been, how will we feel with Adam singing without Queen? Adam will still be the same, but his backup band seem to fall quite a bit short, comparing them to Queen. I guess we will get used to it, because that will be his future now. Maybe with just a few guest spots with Queen.

One more thing, I keep reading that MrsS.Osbourne is in a band. That can't be Kelly's mom, can it?

Actually, we as observers and fans do not really know what the future will hold for Adam. Nor do we know his future long term plans. He can make an album and tour on his own and with Queen. He will be up to him. That's what make this journey with Adam so exciting; we never know what his decisions and plans are until they are about to happen. But, I guess the speculations will always be fun.

One thing about it; he is his own man; and what a man he is!

I love Adam's singing if he was singing with or without a band. It's that voice no matter who is with him. Would buy his album if he was singing the phone book.

I personally think the sky's the limit for Adam and his future in the music industry. So excited for his own new music and possible collabs with other artists. He 'a obviously learned So much with his association with Queen and I believe it will be reflected in a number of ways in his future solo performances with whomever he has in his backing band.. In the meantime, I'm celebrating this wonderful win with Queen...

Please please please, let's just be happy for him, Queen and QAL for a few days without worrying or speculating his next steps. Less than a day from their victory! Geesh!

Also congratulations to all the other bands who also got awards. There were quite a few awards given out.
I bet Adam couldn't wait to go to Bootsy Bellows and show his friends that trophy. I know they were all rooting for him and Queen. Several of them have gone to the concerts.
I bet Brian won't want to go home to the UK and their nasty winter weather, after the nice balmy weather in CA. Be nice if he and his wife Anita could take in some of the CA sights, while they are here.

Anon: We are happy and excited about the win with Queen and Adam. We also know quite a bit about most of his plans for next year. His tour with Queen, finishing his album and touring with it. Roger said that during the tour they are going to have talks with him about some more music with them. I am very excited for his win with Queen last night, and about his future plans already in progress. He already has plans already mapped out, it is going to be an exciting year for him, and us his fans.

Adam's association with Queen is a dream come true, of course, but he certainly won't be performing with them for the rest of his life. His own career will evolve in whatever way fate takes it and in whatever way Adam wants it to. I believe with all my heart that Adam will be active in the music business for the long haul. Every step he takes adds to his credibility. Success takes talent and lots of luck, too. I know we will all support A3 with every bit of strength we have. Adam has managed to network very well with lots of music people. I predict his future may hold more than new albums alone.

Anne Marie, just to clarify:

Sharon Osbourne is Kelly's mother.
Ozzie Osbourne is Kelly's father.
Ozzie is the iconic frontman for the band Black Sabbath.

Sharon and Ozzie have been married for many years and have other grown children. Their son was on a recent season of DWTS.

Kelly and Adam are friends and she adores him. Sharon seems to like him, too. And he got to meet Ozzie! How's that for a night out?

I am probably behind the curve here.... But, does anyone know why Eber is tweeting under a different name? Is it due to his son's fame (so he felt the need to be more discreet)?

Hi Yada! As far as I know, Eber has been tweeting under the same name since we started reading his tweets years ago. Not sure of the meaning, tho'. I just thought it meant "miles to go" literally. Anybody else have more info?

Dee R Gee, I already know all about Kelly's family. I think most people do, I was referring to some comment on other sites, referring to MrsS.Osbourne being in a band. As far as I knew she is on a talk show, never heard of her being in a band.
Also just to clarify, I am over the moon about Adam and Queen's win last night. I was only talking about some of the future plans we already know about. I am quite sure Adam will be doing other gigs as they come up. He will be in the entertainment business for the rest of his working life. I know he would also like to get into acting, whether that is on TV or a movie.
I fully support anything he chooses to do. He will make his own choices with no help from any fans. He also has a label now, so they might have some input about his future work.

After doing some research, I think the people referring to Mrs S. Osbournes band, might have been talking about the fact that she is Ozzies band manager, The Black Sabbath.

Anne Marie, So sorry I misunderstood your question about Sharon O. I guess some people don't know about the Osbourne family, so I decided to explain it anyway. I agree with you that the reference to Sharon's "band" is likely the fact that she manages Black Sabbath. I sometimes wonder what it was like to grow up with Ozzie and Sharon as my parents. They did do a reality show about their family a number of years ago.

"Miles to go before I sleep". My memory isn't always good. I think Eber may be referring to a JFK quote. I could be entirely off base though.

Adam has a wide circle of long time friends that reaches far beyond Bootsy Bellows in California. He has said that he has many long time friends in New York from the theater world also. He is loved by so many people. Such a blessing for him to have fans all the world, and seems to getting more each time he performs at every venue. To know this wonderful man is to love him it seems.

I still say I bet he stopped in at Bootsy Bellows to show his friends the trophy. He goes there all the time, he is very good friends with the owners. I don't think he could reach his many friends all over the world, on his way home. I am sure he has received loads of texts messages and tweets from all of his friends congratulating him and Queen. I don't think he went to NY on the way home either. He goes to Bootsy Bellows to socialize, he lives alone, and treats the clubs like they are his living room. It's where he meets his friends, specially close
friends. His friends are not limited to people who visit BB.
Adam's circle of friends is world wide.

I have no worries about Adam's future. he has laid down a solid foundation over the past 6 years, gaining maturity and sophistication from his world travels and benefiting from the wise, fatherly connection with Queen. They have done and seen it all. I imagine they've shared many experiences with Adam and have become great mentors. Adam has such a connecting. pleasing, personality with respect for his peers that obviously has resonated with these great, accomplished men. This tour has given Adam priceless credibility, exposing him to the masses. What an incredible opportunity! Adam's new album is bound to benefit from this time spent with Queen, Nile Rodgers and others in the biz that have come to associate with him. I can't wait to see what the future will bring! Agree with you too, Glitzy! :)

I never tire of seeing these beautiful family pics of Adam. They look like a picture perfect, happy, American family. A shame that Leila and Eber needed to go their separate ways, but they've raised two accomplished, smart sons and have been loving, supportive parents. Adam has dealt realistically and wisely with his fame, learning from a few hiccups after Idol, but always so likable and honest,owning who he is with confidence and humility. He was adorable as a baby, young man and is a knockout now as a mature adult. Thud!!

OT....I made my kids earn their allowances during the summer by memorizing poetry....a quarter a stanza.

Eber once said that he and Leila almost chose the name Myles for Neil. They chose Neil instead. Eber is very smart and sharp-witted. I enjoy reading his twitter page every now and then. I wonder how many other pop stars' dads have such a twitter following?!

Exposure to and genuine appreciation of fine literature and poetry is a developmental asset that is slowly expiring in US primary education, I'm afraid. Our children are not better for it. Kudos. My hats off to you!:))
