I am glad this was brought up, I was wondering if Simon had heard Adam sing with Queen at any of the concerts. I am glad if not, that he will see how far Adam has come. He always believed in him, even if he didn't always agree with Adam's choice or rendition of a song. I hope Adam gets to have a chat with Simon after the show.

It seemed appropriate (and fun to remember those days) because Adam and Simon go back all the way to Idol and Simon knew Adam had the potential to be a major star...

it may be old news to you...but as someone outside the US so didn't see any post Idol articles, its new to me....Its great to come across old stuff that I haven't seen before.
Also remember that many fans didn't discover Adam on Idol but afterwards so may not have seen all Idol related news.

I'm sorry but you have GOT to be kidding. You're actually taking the energy of typing out a response to complain about something from the past that celebrates Adam?

I have been an Adam fan since Day 1 and I've never seen those Simon quotes and APPRECIATE that glitzylady has taken the time to research and prepare that post.

You're an armchair critic and have no idea the time it takes to put these posts together. And, if you don't like it, just move on. It's a free country and you can comment on whatever you want and however you want, absolutely -- but there is no love lost from me in there with that type of criticism.

And, I have to add -- there is PLENTY of NEW stuff about Adam that's posted on here. If you disagree, go somewhere else.

And 2:08 -- completely unnecessary. I love how people don't have the courage to put their IDs in their comments and hide behind "Anonymous," not to mention making things personal.

People with comments like these break the spirit of what this blog is all about.

So much for everybody is entitled to their opinion here. More like you are only entitled to the preapproved opinion while using a tag.

HK fan, exactly right. Not everyone who visits this site has seen as much about Adam's career as we have. If I had just discovered him, I'd want to see some history and perspective. Besides, I LOVE remembering those early performances, and, of course, those comments by Simon.

broddybounce, nice to see you back. Thanks for pointing out how time-consuming it is to help keep a fansite going. I could never do it. I appreciate all the news posted here, new and old.

I'm interested in what Simon might have to say after the performance with Queen on X Factor.

I'm not sure what the issue is with Anonymous comments. Obviously most of us prefer that. Comments are back up since the anon option came back and most of the new sign in names seem to have gone back to anon. I know I did. Most of the anon comments are positive. Do their opinions not matter and are without courage too?

Want to add broddybounce telling those who disagree to go elsewhere is out of line and rude in my opinion. But I'm anon so he probably doesn't think I count.

4:20PM My thoughts exactly, some people appear to over re-act, just because someone says they don't like something, all I can say is get over it, and there's no need to be so damn rude about it, after all it was just an opinion, and fans should be able to express an honest opinion without being bullied by others.

"HAVE A HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE; THE NAME AND THE NAMELESS POSTS". We are all the same, in our love for Mr. Adam M. Lambert, I hope! So chill out and enjoy!!

A few honest opinions, questions and hopeful wishes:

** Wish each and everyone of us here would understand and take responsibility of how the threads/comment sections turn out...

** The tone of the first comment, the person behind it has most often a crucial effect on how the atmosphere in that thread develops...

** Everybody has the right to their opinion, yes of course, but no one has the right to be rude or hateful or spoil it for the others in stating their own opinions (and yet it happens all the time) and/or require that we all must be at unison all the time...

** is it impossible to agree to disagree and do it without alienating lots of people from this site....

** Why is it so hard to express your critical / don't like / not my cup... etc opinions in a non-aggravating, more constructive, even friendlier tone?

** The purpose of a fan site? Supporting and YAY'ing for our main man, Adam Lambert! Hoping we all agree on that? (Note: NOT including here trolls and/or professional trouble-makers, hatemongers etc) IMO that automatically means that a fan site mostly is about positive feelings, admiring and giving kudos to the artist/performer we LOVE... Does not mean you have to accept every aspect, every little thing about Adam, but it surely means there are fans who do love him unconditionally and that should be okay, too. Plus (at least)50+ different shades of Glamberts and their opinions what they feel, think of, love about Adam Lambert...
