Captcha is different. Word is easier to read but more clicks.

Are we stuck with captcha forever?

I asked the blog owner about the captcha situation recently.

She said she didn't have it turned on.. In fact it is turned off on this site..

But Google Blogger, for some reason has chosen to use it on this site.. And at this time, nothing can be done to change it...

HOWEVER....

A BIG TIP:

For those who have a an official sign in "name" via Google Blogger, etc., you should be able to bypass the captcha..and you won't have to prove you aren't a robot.. Simply type out your comment, and click on "Post Your Comment..".

For those who are anons, you'll have to do the captcha each time, apparently..

This is what we know....

Big Tip, don't care, still not going to sign in.

I wasn't suggesting you create a sign in.. It was just to let everyone know what the reality of the situation is..

Thanks for all your help glitzy, sometimes I don't know why you bother.

The push remains to get people to sign it. Obviously more people prefer to not sign in.

Too bad the troll comments aren't filtered out like the robots. At this point the robots would be preferred to the trolls.

There is no "push to get people to sign in"... Admin has nothing to do with the captcha box being here on the site.

We tried to eliminate it from the site but it is still here. At this point in time, the only way to skip it is to create a sign in name. The directions for how to do that are posted at the upper right corner of the main page here.

The truly ugly and rude troll comments are deleted by admins. There is sometimes a very fine line in discerning "opinions" from troll comments.. A "sign in only" comments section would largely eliminate internet trolls but also is discouraging for some who want to post comments.
