Sadness in the Adam Lambert Fandom today:
Well known Adam Lambert fan Carol Bate, @UKGlambert on twitter, passed away suddenly yesterday. She was to have seen Adam perform live for the first time very soon.
Her son, Mark Bate, relayed the sad news to Adam via twitter, and Adam responded:

So very, very sorry to hear of this terribly sad new. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to her son and family. Adam's beautiful response brought tears to my eyes!
I remember many of her posts, she seemed like a loving and devoted fan to Adam. A beautifu GLAMBERT!
Sending peace light and love to Carol's family. So very sad to lose one of our sisters. Adam's response is one of the million reasons I love him.
I wrote this little verse for a close friend who had lost her father, it has become a great comfort for me over the years at the passing of several dear ones . A fellow glambert saw it posted elsewhere and ask to use it a the funeral of a loved one, I will post it here and hope that Carol is enjoying this as we speak. It has no title it just is
Sun on a cloudy day.
Care and strife washed wash away,
Time floats on gilded wings,
Moments in eternity,
Music played on golden harps
Threads it's way into my heart,
Then surrounds my soul with endless peace
While angels wait within my reach .
Love ...dances openly ,partnered with tranquility ,

Joy ...resounds both far and near
Filling me with warmth and cheer,
I know now I'm not alone
He has called ...I'm going home .
For every second is a precious one. We don't know what the next one will bring? This is just a temporary road we all will travel with our share of triumph and tragedy. All loss is sad and hope her family has the strength through such a painful time. AL feels her love. NO doubt about it. light is needed in such darkenss. ml
