LAST NIGHT, WHEN THEY INTERLACED THE 2009 AND THE 2015 AUDITIONS, ADAM'S ORIGINAL AUDITION SOUNDED LIKE IT HAD BEEN SLOWED DOWN. ADAM'S VOICE SOUNDED LOWER AND IT WAS NOT AS SHARP AS IT WAS IN ITS ORIGINAL FORM. I PLAYED THEM ONE OVER THE OTHER AND THE 2009 CLIP THEY SHOWED DID NOT END AT THE SAME TIME AS THE CLIP I VIEWED ON YOUTUBE. IT DID NOT SOUND AS CLEAR AS IT HAD BEEN IN THE ORIGINAL AUDITION. AMERICAN IDOL WAS PROBABLY TRYING TO SYNC UP THE TIMING OF THE TWO AUDITIONS. THEY FAILED IN THAT THEY DISTORTED HIS USUALLY CRYSTAL CLEAR, PITCH PERFECT VOICE AND MADE IT SOUND GARBLED.
