Let the record show: Adam Lambert can still audition for American Idol like nobody's business!
This Thursday marks the season eight winner's debut as a guest judge (filling in for Keith Urban), and we have your first look above.
In the clip, Jennifer Lopez gushes about how thrilled she is to have Adam on board--no disrespect to Keith, obvi. And during the auditions process, Jennifer and Harry Connick Jr. challenge Adam to "audition" once more.
His choice? "Bohemian Rhapsody," which he sang in his 2009 audition (along with "Rock With You"), and the results prove the 32-year-old has still got it. Watch for yourself!

I was lucky and got it through the posted link. I hope everyone can get it somewhere. It's so fun to see Adam joking around with the other judges. And his "second" audition was oh so fine!

Seeing Adam finally get the praise he deserves from everyone, makes my heart smile. Glamberts everywhere have been waiting for this. Finally it's Adam's time!
I'm back from work and waiting with bated breath for the videos from New Castle... Pics.... Stream... Anything (pant, pant... Lol). Guess we'll have to wait. :))))
But, wow, this little treat of Adam "auditioning" again... How cute!!
I don't know why, but I felt kinda nervous as though it was kind of real eventhough it wasn't. Haha
I think I feel that way just a little anytime Adam is kind of put on the spot. :) Enjoyed this!

4:03 pm, I'm sure Harry would pass with flying colors too. And some people obviously love JLo or she wouldn't have been as huge as she had for as long as she has been.
You know, 4:03pm.... in reading your comment, I thought "hey, that's actually not a bad idea".
It would never happen of course....But, each judge "auditioning" for the other judges... feeling the heat a bit... being on the spot... critiqued... could lead to a another level of sensitivity and insight that could be helpful for the judges and certainly for the contestants, imo (assuming they took it seriously, of course).
Adam is the only one to date that has experienced that unique position, and (aside from his natural abilities) I believe it has gifted him with additional endowment, perspective and understanding as a judge... even for that short period of stand-in for Keith.
So it will never happen...but, hey -nice idea... musing... :)
