This has to be one of the best reviews of any of the Q+AL concerts around the world.  Gigwise's Andy Morris has written a stellar critique of the London O2 concert with the exception of a few odd characterizations of Adam's wardrobe and a mention of mushrooms at Burning Man he totally, completely and utterly 'gets' Adam and why Brian & Roger chose him to be their leading man.  He also does a great job showing why the song choice, staging, and overall production of this tour is so very good, including the musical mastery of Brian & Roger.

We would like to thank our faithful reader Drakulka CZ for finding this piece and alerting us to it, when we otherwise missed it.  Enjoy some highlights first...

"The evening as a whole is a spectacular celebration, one of the best concerts this writer has ever experienced at the O2."

"...Lambert has a vocal range, a stage presence and a sense of the theatrical that is second to none."

"What’s intriguing is the presence of Lambert seems to have give the tracks a fresh energy..."

"It is intended as the highest compliment that this is second only to seeing Mercury in his prime."

Yea Adam smashed his own QAL performance in Somebody To Love...goodness gracious me! He piled more Mt Everest notes on top of that unreachable star note 'Toooo...' hammered it in with the 'Looove...' note. The harmony/chorus of Brian and Roger came in just at the opportune moment to round it off. Adam upped his own game very extravagantly! Glam-Rocker! with golden tassels flying on the ramp. lwl!

Adam was all out to kill ! with the 'Love...' note at the end...Whoa! I think the O2 sound system has very high sensitivity with equally sensitive sound experts directing it.

Hey Adam you were all out to kill !
By golly you nailed it with top-class skill
And your power, effervescent trills
Will reach the universe to grant your appeal
Roger was so energised
Could sense it in his drums together with his son
I like Rufus' low base drums
Sounded like war drums...yea they all seem
To be at battle kicking up dust and trump
Well Adam...Your Amore will come with roses and rum lwl!
